I have very fine, wavy, dry hair that seems to only ever look frizzy and dull, or stringy and sad, and it’s hard to find hair products that reduce frizz without making my hair look limp and weighed down. This conditioner seems to provide a nice balance of hydration without added weight. It is of course not as hydrating as a mask or deep conditioner, but my hair did feel and look softer after using it, and I think it’s a good regular hair conditioner. I also really like the rose and sandalwood scent, although it doesn’t seem to linger on the hair for long.Although the listing states the conditioner is a treatment for thinning hair, this isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product packaging itself. Since my hair is fine, I generally avoid applying conditioner to my scalp, so I wouldn’t expect it to have much effect even if it does in fact contain ingredients that help with decreasing hair loss. Since the conditioner does a good job of detangling hair and making it easy to comb through, it does appear that there is less hair fall post-shower when using this.I think that if you’re actually dealing with serious hair loss and thinning, you should visit a dermatologist if accessible, since hair loss can be caused by so many different things, from hormones to vitamin deficiencies to fungal infections to stress. I’m not sure that any “DHT blocking” shampoos and conditioners will be very effective on their own for something like androgenic alopecia, but might be helpful to use in conjunction with a more effective treatment. But I understand wanting to try a shampoo and conditioner first, with fewer potential side effects and less commitment than jumping straight to something like minoxidil or a prescription.I do think this is a good everyday conditioner for fine hair. I’m not convinced that this product line or similar shampoos and conditioners are actually an effective treatment for something like hormonal hair loss, but they could at least help with improving the overall condition of your hair and result in less breakage. I think the price is a little high, though, and would probably only order it again or purchase the matching shampoo if it were on sale.
