I was excited to try a premium UK-based beard oil for once, but is it worth the price?Right out of the bottle the scent is very complex and reminds of The Art of Shaving’s scent profile before they were acquired by P&G. Coincidentally, that would be the American version that this is competing against. This certainly competes with it… and outperforms it, especially when comparing price!I have a short beard, but it’s coarse and curly (meaning dry) and this does a fantastic job at keeping it soft with a little shine for effect. The same is true for my hair on top of my head and the scent makes you want to bathe in it so a pump for the beard and a pump for the hair has been my go to since using this.As someone into beard and shave care, I’ve tried products from budget to luxury. This performs better than other oils at this price, and the use of natural botanicals really pushes it above and beyond for me personally. I think it’s worth the extra money, even if you only use it on weekends/date nights and have a more affordable oil for everyday.

Feels luxurious!
I got this for my husband. He was dubious at first to adding something to his routine but he’s also very into grooming his beard. He has a somewhat bushy goatee with thick coarse hair. This didn’t take him long at all to add to his routine, the applicator/mist is nice because it’s not messy and it’s quick for him to spray and rub in. It does seem to be making his beard hair softer. The scent is pleasant, a subtle citrus smell. I’m sensitive to strong smells and this one doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t appear to have any effect, negative or positive on his skin which was a relief because I was worried it being an oil it could irritate his skin. This stuff is lightweight and absorbs into the hair quickly. I was a little surprised by the price, but it makes sense for luxury quality and would make a good gift for someone who is into their beard care!

Nice beard and hair grooming, softening product with a not-overpowering or heavy scent.
Nice product that seems to both soften and condition hair (beard and atop your head, too if you’re inclined to try it that way), that doesn’t make hair look too greasy or wet or oily (that could be good or bad depending on what you’re going for really), but gives a nice soft shine without being sticky or tacky to the touch but more a nice matte finish. The scent is light and sort of citrusy and definitely not heavy or perfume-y, which we appreciate. The bottle looks tiny but as others have noted a little goes a long way, just a couple of spritzes should suffice unless you’ve got one of those mountain man beards that goes to your belly lol. The price has come down since we got by a good bit so it’s now a better value though I still think it’s on the pricy side, BUT with the small amount needed it should last a good while so really not an extravagance.

I got this oil for my boyfriend and hes been using it on on both his beard and dry hair for a couple of weeks now.Right off the bat, the scent is light and pleasant—not overpowering. The oil spreads easily and absorbs without leaving greasy residue. His beard is softer, and the skin underneath seems less itchy or tight by day’s end.I even tried using it on my hair, it helps control frizz and adds a subtle healthy sheen, especially on dry ends. It’s gentle enough to use daily without making hair look oily.The bottle and dropper design work well — easy to apply and control how much I’m using. It seems like good value for a versatile product that handles both beard and hair needs. NOT a weightless mist
The product page describes this as a weightless mist, and it is neither weightless nor a mist. It is a very heavy oil with a pump. My husband has a beard and long hair (about 4 inches past his shoulders). We swim in a chlorinated pool almost daily, so I had him use this. This stuff is so thick that it honestly just made his hair look greasy, and he only applied a tiny amount to the ends. I will add that the pump is hard to press, so when it finally gives, we got a squirt instead of a drop and had to wipe most of it away. It does smell pretty good (kind of an incense scent), but this one wasn’t a keeper.

A few spritzes go a long way, and the scent is subtle and clean.That said, the 50ml bottle is smaller than I expected. It feels more like a travel-size than a daily-use product. Also, the directions insist on applying it to dry hair, which seems counterintuitive for a hydrating oil. Most similar products work better when hair is damp and more absorbent. Not sure what the reasoning is here.Still, for lightweight conditioning with zero stickiness, it does the job well—just don’t expect generous sizing or intuitive instructions.

Lovely beard and hair oil
I bought this beard oil for my husband because he’s a big fan of trying up new products to moisturize his beard. He’s very proud of his beard and he’s always on the lookout for something to keep it nourish and soft. I picked up this beard oil for him and he is an absolute fan, and so am I. It really does wonders for facial hair. It was very apparent that the product instantly moisturized his beard hair. It really just helped to pull his face together and make it look more neat. I was just very impressed that with one or two pumps of this beard oil, it made a significant difference in the appearance of his beard. It helped him look more polished. I also have to say I’m a big fan of the oil because it has a very light scent. I think my husband is a fan of that as well because it leaves him feeling good, looking good and smelling good but not having it be overpowering. I appreciate all those factors as well. Overall this is a really nice beard oil and now I understand the price point. I will say it’s a little pricey but I definitely feel like it’s worth it.

Pleasant scented beard oil
Fairly small bottle of beard oil (see photo – apple for scale) containing a scented oil. Real fan of the scent, extremely pleasant whilst remaining a subtle, non overpowering fragrance. Not entirely sure what is meant by oil mist (title), its a pump action dispenser that doesn’t create an aerosol of which a couple of pumps is sufficient. When applying it seems to take quite some time to absorb, doesn’t readily migrate from your hands onto your beard unlike slightly more viscous oils I’ve used. Despite my best efforts couldn’t help but feel the majority remained on my hands, little seemed to work its way through the hair down to skin level. Adds a rather nice looking healthy gloss to the outer beard hairs, aesthetically it does the job. At twenty four pounds per bottle (at time of review) its not a product I’d consider ordering again.
