This one has some weight!
UPDATE**Gave the razor another whirl with about 3 days of growth. Swapped back to my 7 o’ clock Yellow blades for this shave. Perfect. Absolutely perfect shave, 5 out of 5 hands down. Lathered up with Stirling’s Electric Sheep soap after a shower. 2 passes WTG/ATG. Zero irritation or nicks. BBS all the way. Super pleasant. If this ever breaks I’ll purchase it again instantly. Don’t hesitate. As for aggression, I’d still say medium and it shaves beautifully. 5 stars up from 4…….————————————–Purchased as a replacement to a cheap low-profile Baili I was using for areas that are tough to maneuver with a large razor head (mainly under the nose). Went in for a full face/neck shave with it and have this to report: I love it. I’m not a veteran to the wet-shaving world but I know my way around a brush and safety razor. This bad boy is the heaviest I have used and I now understand the love for weight in a razor. Obviously this is just the handle as the head and base plate seem to be zamac – as expected, but dang does it have a great feel to it. Between the short handle, the knurling and the weight, I could get used to this. In terms of aggression, I feel it is probably pretty mild to medium-mild. However, I decided to leave my comfort zone (7 o’ clock Yellow – Sharp Edge) and used the included Astra Greens, so I can’t accurately gauge this just yet. I was able to get a BBS shave with two passes but found myself with a few weepers and some irritation with Alum applied. Going to go at it with my usual blade next time and report back.So far though – the value here for the handle alone is worth the money!

Nice razor for the price
This is similar to the Merkur 34C, but weighs slightly more and is slightly longer. I am impressed with the razor for the price. It does have minor imperfections to the finish, but I think overall it is a good buy and shaves decently.

Impressive shaver!
I initially bought this razor with low expectations. When I took it out of the package, I was immediately impressed with its heft, and weight. The knurling on the handle gives a fantastic grip. The plating on the top and bottom plate, are not perfect but very very good for this price point. It is very much like the famous Merkur. I have only shaved with it 3 times using Astra SP blade with Fantastic results. I do not know how long the plating will last on the top plate but when it wear out I will definitely be keeping the handle.Fantastic razor for the money!

Well worth the money
I own 50+ modern and vintage DE razors and this one shaves beautifully. The finish on the head is not great and I had very low expectations but it performs extremely well. it is mild, with neutral blade exposure and is the perfect razor to learn on. The handle is well made, stainless, and the knurling is more than adequate. For this price it’s more than worth it for the handle alone. And to top it off, it came with Gillette 7 o’clock yellow blades, an excellent blade.

Aggressive for me, but good quality.
I use the budget friendly Lord L6 as my daily driver. I also like the Gillette King C and Mekur 34c. This one is more aggressive than all of those. I can get a great shave, but I need to be extra cautious – especially with my Permasharp blades. Astra Super stainless are a bit better. All of this is to say, I’ll keep this in my collection, but I won’t use it much. Quaility is s good though! And the handle is hefty and grippy – which is how I like it. The handle DOES fit the King C; it does NOT fit the Lord L6. It’s a huge improvement for the King C handle.

Baby Face! read update
My usual razor is a simple BamBaw long skinny metal handle that works pretty well. However I have big hands and was in search of a thicker handle. This Krisp branded razor popped up at a ridiculous $9.99 price. Out of curiosity and humor I bought it. I LOVE IT!!!! The handle is about 3.5in and it is a larger dia handle that weighs a bit more too. “in comparison with BamBaw”. This came with a sampler 5 pack of Gillette 7’oclock yellow box razors. Outstanding combination for a real winner. This $10 razor just has me so thrilled. FYI, this blade tugs far less than Astra “India” SP green box. So now I have a better feeling razor and I now found my new go to blade. New baby face.UPDATE 6mo. OK I praised this razor at first. After 6 months it looks like its 20 years vintage as the handle coating and head coating wore and tarnished. I just packed this on a flight to find the threaded stem broken off. Not sure how much impact caused thqat but my luggage seems fine and razor was packed in a leather dopo bag. My guess is the tarnished cast pop metal used just gave up at the wort time possible.For $10 its still a great shave but its cheap and you just have to live with that fact. Dont get sentimental to this baby as shell eventually leave you. Any Zinc razor is prone to fail. Buy Brass.

Weighted but junk in the end…
After 2 months it no longer tightnens up. Went to shave today with new nlade and it did mot tighten all the way, cut my head pretty bad. Ill move on from the junk!
