Freedom from a cord.
I like the freedom from a cord – not having to constantly deal with its entanglements as I’m cutting my own hair (one of the few cost saving advantages of going bald).What I don’t care for is that you have to charge it from a USB port instead of standard receptacle. Also, the shaver does not cut my beard as close as a razor.I haven’t used anything else in the set, but it’s nice to know it’s there just in case.

A great set for the price, everything works well, small storage problems
Overall, I really liked this set. There were just a few small things that kept it from being perfect for me.If you’re getting this, one of the things that probably appeals to you is the styling of it. The antique brass with the cloud design looks very nice in hand. It does look very expensive.As far as functionality, everything works well. In fact the trimmer on the back of the razor works much better than the one on my name brand razor which cost three times the price of this entire set. The razor itself is wider and bulkier than I prefer so I don’t think I’d switch to this on a regular basis. And I’m not sure if I can easily get replacement blades for this. The trimmer and the cutter work as well as any other one I’ve used. The price for this set is really nothing short of astonishing considering that you’re getting three separate tools, one of which has an interchangeable head to make it even more versatile. And they all work well.I really appreciate that these are USB rechargeable. This makes them great for travel as well as easier to use around the house. One of the problems I have with my razor is that it might run down on a long trip and since it requires a special charger, I have to bring that along. With this, I can use the same charger I use for other things, or even a battery pack. A charge level indicator is provided, which I view as essential with rechargeable items.One thing I don’t like is that these seem to be made of a mixture of plastic and metal. The front of the cutter and trimmer is definitely metal, but the back is plastic. I’m sure this helps keep cost down, but it would be better for durability if it was mostly metal. At least the plastic seems durable.Storage is the biggest problem. These come in a case, but the cutter and trimmer are set into a flimsy plastic storage arrangement. The razor is just tucked underneath as is the beard trimmer attachment and all the hair length clips. There’s a mesh pouch that the instructions and cords can be moved to. I’m sure the plastic tray isn’t going to last long, and it’s a bit of a challenge to arrange things under the tray so that it fits well. This needs a better case where each device and it’s accessories has a place.

These clippers are strong and durable. They are small enough for an easy grip but the head is large enough to cover a large section of the head. The trimmers seem to be the sharpest, the clippers and beard trimmer not as much but the color is nice it makes them look professional and we’ve used them 3 times without charging so the battery life is good. The Scttomon Beard Trimmer Kit ended up being more impressive than I expected, especially considering how many different tools are included in the set.I have had the same old corded Wahl clipper set for so long that nobody in the house even remembers when it was purchased, so trying a modern cordless grooming kit honestly felt a little like “welcome to this century.” I did not realize how nice it would be to stop fighting with a cord or needing to stay close to an outlet while trimming.The first thing everyone noticed when picking these up was that they feel solid. They have a good weight without feeling overly heavy or cheap. The gold decorative finish is a little flashy, but in a classy way rather than looking tacky. The zipper case also seems well made and the zipper worked smoothly.We ended up testing several of the attachments around the house. Mission accomplished for neckline cleanup, beard trimming, smoothing out stubble, chest hair cleanup, and getting sideburns to the right length. Nobody volunteered to test the nose hair trimmer because apparently nobody in this house admits to having nose hair.Performance-wise, this set did better than I expected for the price. The clippers were noticeably quieter than my old corded Wahl set, but still had enough power to cut through thick/coarse hair cleanly on the first pass. No one complained about pulling, snagging, overheating, vibration fatigue, or accidental nicks/cuts. The foil shaver left skin smoother than expected instead of just “close enough.”The guards stayed securely in place during use and the attachments swapped easily. The LED battery display is also useful since you can quickly see how much charge is left instead of guessing. After the initial charge, we have used the different trimmers for multiple grooming sessions and still have not needed to recharge them yet, so battery life seems strong so far.I also like that this set covered all of the grooming needs we tested. Different people already seem to be claiming different pieces for their preferred jobs. It would also make a good starter grooming kit for someone heading to college or getting their first place. There are a lot of pieces, so I would not pack the entire kit for travel, but it is easy enough to take only the attachments you actually need.Long-term durability is still something only time will answer, especially compared to my ancient Wahl set that refuses to die, but based on the initial experience this feels like a good value at the current price.

I ordered this set for my father in law. He has always used electric shavers, so this set covers all of his needs. It comes with a classic clipper, a trimmer, and an electric shaver, all of which are rechargeable. They charge up in a few hours and the charge lasts a long time. The set has a nice metal finish with an industrial and classic look, which makes it very appealing. I like that he even has the option to trim his body if he wants to. The nose trimmer attachment works really well too. For a package like this, the price is very reasonable. It is not too heavy, but feels just right in hand. AMAZING Shaving set!
This shaving kit is definitely the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s on par with what a professional would use at a barber shop. It took me a good 15 minutes just to familiarize myself with all the kit had.The big razor is your primary razor. It has an adjustable blade and also has some clips of various sizes included. The smaller razor has a removable head that can be replaced with one of the various attachments to, for example, cut your nose hairs. Lastly the short, fat razor is for close shaving such as neck, body, etc.I haven’t used this kit to its full potential, not even close. I’m too scared to cut my own hair but I know one day I’ll give it a shot. Until then this kit is used to shave everything else but my head. This kit is very well designed, the quality of the razors is top notch, and I wouldn’t have gone with any other kit.I highly, highly recommend this shaving set to anyone wanting a good one. Might just need some scissors because that’s the one thing this kit is missing.
