Strong hold and easy to use
These hold sprays are useful for locking fibres in place, but they can also be used as part of normal styling. This spray in particular, does have a strong hold and does leave the hair with that slight stiffened effect but that’s exactly what I wanted, other sprays have just wet the hair and not had any additional support.Using this means you don’t also have to apply traditional hair spray. It has a mild scent but it’s nothing overpowering.

The mist sprays evenly, though the droplets are a touch larger than what you get from premium cans . Go easy on the trigger and it won’t weigh hair down or leave it sticky. It’s great for locking in a style or taming flyaways, and the quality feels decent for the price. Overall, it ticks the boxes for strong hold, subtle fragrance, and wind resistance. The mist could be finer, but light passes work a treat. I’d grab it again for daily use—good value if you want effective hold without the fuss.

Doesn’t hold my hair in place
I’ve had this SEVICH Extra Hold Hair Spray for a few weeks and have used it to set my hair for work and to provide volume when I’m going out.I don’t wear hairspray often. With the exception of hard core hairspracy like Aquanet (which I haven’t used for decades!), I haven’t experienced many that hold my hair well and for hours on end. I had higher expectations of this spray because it says it’s “strong hold”. I’ve used it a few times, and it hasn’t held my hair in place for long.I have fine hair that is getting thinner as I get older. I was hoping this would add some boost to it. It seemed to work going on, but over time doesn’t hold up the pieces I’ve scrunched and tried to add body to. I usually do some shots on specific areas of my hair instead of all over. If I do a quick broad spray, it dries pretty quickly. But I’ve noticed that when I try to focus on specific areas, the spray takes a while to dry and I usually need to use a hairdryer on it.The scent is light, and almost not detectable. As a styling spray, my guess is that the effectiveness of this relies on your style and the type of hair you have. I think the price seems reasonable, it’s not something I would get again, though.

Lacking hold power. Seems watery. I tried it, but instead of enhancing my style it ruined it. I like a strong, yet light hold that is not flaky. This is not it. I’m going to throw it out.

I am allergic to most scented stuff, so discovering a gentle and unscented hairspray is just amazing. It is non-aerosol. The spray is even and seamless. I have thin fly-aways and it keeps my ponytail looking perfect and fly-aways-free. I have been foregoing hairspray due to most options repulsing me, but I would be likely to get this again, as I am getting spoiled now with more hair-do options.The ingredients say “parfum” is in there, but my super sensitive nose does not detect a smell when using this. When I open it and smell, there is a very faint, barely-there scent which does not even bother me.
