Smooth, Soothing Shave with No Irritation
I’ve been using this transparent shaving gel and it’s been great for keeping my skin calm and smooth. It glides well on the skin, helping the razor move easily without tugging, and the oat and aloe really helped reduce irritation — even on sensitive areas. My shave feels closer and cleaner, and my skin hasn’t felt dry or tight afterwards.It’s clear, so you can see exactly where you’re shaving, which is really handy. I’ve tried better
Unfortunately, I don’t think this is a very good product. Firstly, the bottle is an issue. The bottle has a very small nozzle on the top meaning you have to work hard to try and squeeze the product out, not the best type of applicator on my opinion. It is a gel consistency, but once you apply it to your face, it’s becomes thinner and so is less effective. I personally have not felt any of these moisturising benefits from using this, compared to other shaving gels that I have tried. I don’t feel like it gives me a closer shave than using other products. Perhaps it’s intended more for people with beard and not someone that shaves every day.

The gel is fully transparent and spreads easily on wet skin. This helps see beard lines clearly during shaving. The texture feels thin and needs a bit more product for full coverage.Razor glide is smooth and I had no cuts during use. Skin felt calm after shaving with no burning or redness. Not a man, but really liked this gel!
I ordered this because it has good quality ingredients. Many women’s shaving gels have a lot of fragrances and drying ingredients in them and they don’t work well for me, but when I saw the ingredients in this one, I decided to order it and try it out for myself! I did not love the bottle- there should be a pump or something else, squeezing the gel out is a bit awkward. I used this to shave my legs and underarms and it did feel nice on the skin when I applied it. It definitely helped prevent razor burn or any nicking and it kept the blade going smooth. It has oat, aloe, and to my surprise it had Centella Asiatica. My skin really likes Centella (Cica) and I do believe that helped prevent redness and irritation. I didn’t notice a particularly strong scent which was definitely fine with me. This worked well for me, it feels nice on my skin and helped prevent razor burn or irritation. Not sure how well it works for someone’s face or for courser hair, but for me this was great!

Works Best for Frequent Shaving, Bottle Design Needs Improvement
I tried this product after 7 days from the last shaving – I had to use much more than regular Gillette gel.Then I used it after a couple days from the last shaving – it worked much better.So I would say it is a great fit for those who is shaving often.Also, since you had to add some gel in the middle, my bottle just fired like a rocket.The bottle gets very slippery.I didn’t have this problem with Gillette bottles because you need to press a button on the top but here you need to actually squeeze the bottle and apply a real force.

Okay, I gave this SEVICH transparent shaving gel a shot on my legs even though it’s marketed for guys. The oat and aloe goes on super smooth and stays slick the whole time, letting my razor glide effortlessly without any tugging or skipping. Gel not foam
This shaving gel comes in a squeeze bottle where you just twist the top to open. It is a clear gel that glides on smoothly. It does not foam up like other types of shaving gel. However, it is very easy to apply. My husband tried it and really liked it. He had to wet his face before applying, and had to rewet each time he added more, but that was no big deal. The gel spreads easily and makes the razor glide over the skin without tugging or pulling. The scent is very light and pleasant, reminding both of us of a slight lavender fragrance, but does have a typical scent reminiscent of other shaving gels, just not heavy. There was no irritation, it rinses clean, and leaves face feeling smooth.

I ordered SEVICH Shaving Gel for Men for my husband to try. He really likes the gel. He said it can be a little hard to squeeze from the bottle, and he wasn’t sure how much to use. It turns out that you really only need a small amount of the gel. He likes how the gel makes his skin feel. The razor glides easily over the gel while removing hair. My husband shaves every day. He thinks this gel makes his skin better overall. It seems to moisturize a little and protect his skin as he shaves. He was happy the gel did not have a scent. He feels it does a better job than his foaming shave cream.This is a product that he would think about getting again. He wants to see how long the bottle lasts before reordering. Works very well for frequent shaving
Having used a shaving product like this before I knew what to expect. If you’re only used to using shaving creams or something that lathers up a lot, this product is a bit different. It still works the same to make a nice gliding surface on the skin but a gel is to use when you shave regularly. Gels go on thin. Think of it like applying aftershave. It just takes a little and it doesn’t foam up at all. It just creates a nice slick surface for the blade to glide along. A gel doesn’t work as well once you’ve grown some facial hair, in which case something thicker would probably fare better.As for this particular gel, it comes in a squirt bottle. Squirt a small amount onto the fingertips and rub along your intended shaving area. A little is all that’s needed so the squirt bottle makes sense with its small diameter tip. The gel itself is thin and spreads very easily. It has absolutely no smell to it. As I said earlier, for frequent shaving ie. daily or small stubble, this gel works great and using it actually makes my face feel more hydrated that using other creams.

The shaving gel worked well & your skin feels smooth when rinsing it off
The shaving gel worked well. It doesn’t get sudsy on my face at all but still seemed to do the job. After rinsing, my skin feels pretty smooth tooI don’t shave with a blade so often & it made the blade glide across as it shaved pretty easy. It mentions on the box too that it prevents redness & I can confirm I got no redness, usually I get some red blotchy colours on my neck shortly after shaving for a little while & I didn’t notice any redness
