Doesn’t smell like chamomile at all unfortunately
While I really like the consistency of this oil I was expecting the scent of chamomile essential oil and I couldn’t smell any hint of it whatsoever which makes me wonder if it’s in here at all. I’ve never used burdock oil before so it was a new experience and I’d say a pleasant one. The oil absorbs well into the skin and feels nice. In my hair it maintained an oiled consistency until I washed it out. I massaged it onto my scalp and throughout my hair and slept with it overnight. It seems like high quality oil but the top is just an insert with a small hole which you squirt out, it’s okay but a little messy to use. The bottle is plastic. I might add some of my own chamomile essential oil since it seems to be missing if I can figure out how to get the top off.

Leaves Hair Slick and Shiny
Although both burdock root and chamomile are edible, this Siberian Green Store Burdock Oil with Chamomile Extract is meant for external use on the hair and scalp.The bottle top has a white insert with a small hole for drip dispensing. The bottle is plastic though, so it can be squeezed to increase the flow of oil. Due to being plastic, the cap seals very tight and can be difficult to remove.The scent is almost non-existent with only a slight woody oil smell. My wife describes the smell as a stale linseed oil.The oil is light and rubs into my scalp without making a mess. Being a light oil, it does leave my hair slick and shiny. It also washes of my hand easily, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth.I prefer my hair to be dryer and lighter when going out, so although I will use the burdock oil occasionally for its health benefits and to stimulate hair growth, it will not be immediately after a shower.

Great For Skin and Hair
I love this SIBERIAN GREEN BURDICK oil! I have only used it for a day so far but I am really happy with it.My hair was getting really rough and stopped being silky. I put some of this oil on my damp hair after a shower and when it dried it was a lot softer and silkier. It didn’t solve everything about the texture after just one time, of course, but I am really surprised at how much it helped. I am going to keep putting it on my hair.I also put some of this on my face. My skin is super sensitive. I can’t use anything that isn’t completely natural on it and I have been trying different oils and natural butters to see what works best. This just might be my new favorite thing to use on my skin. I only used a very little amount for the first test but it helped my skin a lot. I always have super dry skin and after a day it is still very noticeably better than it usually is. I also break out a lot with some oils and so far this one doesn’t seem to be having that effect.

Easy to use
I love the natural simple ingredients, it has a light pleasant scent too. Easy to use and apply to my scalp, I use it on the weekends when I’m not going anywhere since it does make your scalp look a bit greasy. Or sometimes I use it overnight so I can wash it out in the moring. Overal I only use it twice a week, so I have not seen any results yet besides a hydrated scalp. Hopefully it helps my thinning hair over the next few months.

Smells nice, cute packaging, very healthy for your hair. I use just a little bit and don’t find it to be overly greasy or strong in any way. I love the Eastern European sourcing for this specific oil, as it makes it feel more genuine. There is even a note from the manufacturer!This is great for my hair health, and I believe it may help with lightening my hair as well. Very pleased with this product.

Review of packaging & initial experience, with efficacy updates to come
I just received and began using this product today, so I can’t yet judge its effects. I’ve looked into how and how often to apply a natural hair growth oil and I plan to make updates to this review as I see any results. The information I’ve found suggests an application of 1/2 – 1 tsp (2.5 – 5 mil) of oil massaged into the scalp for 5-10 minutes, repeated at least twice a week. If the burdock oil is working, than within 4 to 6 weeks there should be less hair fall and improved scalp condition, and by 2 to 3 months of consistent use there should visible new hair growth, such as baby hairs and increased density. Obviously, it will be a while before I’ll have any useful info.Right now, though I can say that I’m impressed with how well-packaged it is. The oil arrived in a small box wrapped in tamper-proof plastic, with tamper-proof plastic surrounding a tamper-proof cap. Nothing is getting through all that unnoticed. The bottle is a dark amber plastic (I’d prefer glass if it was meant to be consumed, but as it’s a topical oil and will last 4 1/2 months if I use 5 mil/week, I’m fine with the plastic) and has a white cap stopper with a very small (2mm) opening. The oil is quite thin, so the small hole is perfect for letting out only as much as I need at one time.There’s a very, very slight earthy/herbal scent to the oil and very low viscosity; it absorbs into my scalp quickly and doesn’t feel heavy. In fact, I hardly notice it’s there.If there is downside, it’s the limited instructions on how to use it – it’s basically just ‘shake well and apply as needed’. Fortunately, it isn’t difficult to find info online. It does note that the oil should be stored at room temperature and includes an expiration date (this one is 12/2027) on both the box and the bottle.I wash my hair 2-3 times a week, so that is how often I’ll be applying the oil as I really can’t go around with a greasy head for the next few months. I’ll leave it to sink into my scalp for at least an hour, longer whenever possible, then wash my hair as usual. I’m looking forward to seeing how well this works!4 1/2 Stars (so far) for excellent packaging and storage info.-1/2 Star for limited instructions.
