Simply rub it into your hair until you feel you have enough product and then work it throughout. I found this duo left my hair, clean and very soft and manageable. I’ve tried shampoo and conditioner bars in the past, that were really hard to get the product onto my hair and I had to keep applying for a long time until I felt like I had enough product to work with. I find this shampoo and conditioner transfers easily onto your hair without much more effort. This duo leaves with my hair smelling nicely afterwards as well, without being too overpowering like some other shampoos. I think this is a great shampoo and conditioner set, that can also be used as a body wash for travel. Great for minimalist, as this gets rid of your plastic bottles and all the excess water they usually put into shampoo and conditioners. I am very pleased with this product. Shampoo and Conditioner Bar Set
This was quite different. When you’ve used bottled shampoo/conditioner your whole life, using bar shampoo and conditioner feels odd. But, I’m glad I tried this because it was a good experience. Not only did this bar set give me soft, clean, shiny hair, but the shampoo bar can also be used for the face and body. I’m in love with products being multi-purpose. I don’t like having a separate product for every skin and hair need if I can help it. If I’m tired from a long day, I can just grab the shampoo bar and clean up from head to toe. I like that type of convenience.Also, this set is great for sensitive skin and has a mild, clean smell.These bars take up very little space in your bathroom and are ideal for travel.This item is very easy to use. Working up a lather in your hands works better than just rubbing it in your hair. I do a little of both. The shampoo and conditioner rinse out quickly and easily.I’m so out of the loop that I wasn’t even aware of bar shampoos and conditioners. So, when I saw this item, I was curious. I’m glad I picked it up. I would consider using this item again in the future. The price seems reasonable to me for the quality of the product. I am interested to see how long these bars will last. Great for travel and surprisingly easy to use
I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner bar set primarily for travel, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it works. The bars lather much more easily than I expected. The shampoo creates a rich foam with very little effort, and the conditioner glides onto the hair much more smoothly than some other conditioner bars I’ve tried.After rinsing, my hair felt clean without feeling stripped, and the conditioner left it soft and manageable. I was concerned that a solid shampoo might leave my hair feeling dry, but that wasn’t my experience at all.Another thing I appreciate is how convenient these are for travel. No worries about liquid restrictions, spills in luggage, or bulky bottles taking up space. The bars are compact and easy to pack. I travel a LOT, and these bars are great if you don’t want to check luggage. I can’t always guarantee that there will be shampoo where I’m staying, so this solves the problem.The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, and the bars seem like they’ll last quite a while, making them a good value as well. I do wish there were two bars of conditioner as well, but so far it seems like I’m using more of the shampoo than the conditioner so that might work out.Overall, this is a great alternative to traditional bottled shampoo and conditioner, especially for travelers or anyone looking to reduce plastic waste.

Convenient and affordable hair washing set for travel
HEAL LEAF solid shampoo and conditioner bar set was a great help to me. I got tired of making a mess out of pouring liquid shampoos and conditioners into travel plastic bottles. These are great for travel beyond just flight . Great for roadtrips, camping or any trip where you are out of the house. I have left it in my suitcase ready for travel without worrying about this . Makes it so much easier to wash hair daily. The set is small and for me at over $20 at the time of this review , it is a bit pricey. But I can see that if it is made in small batches the price can be justified . The shampoo and conditioner smells very mild . I’m a person who likes heavily scented shampoo but this works for travel and camping . The scent doesn’t last long on the hair . The lather is kinda hard to get . It’s not like with liquid shampoos. However this is great seeing as it’s easy to wash off . When working with limited water, it’s much more convenient to use something that doesn’t sud as much . The key with this bar set is to get a proper soap dish that can keep the bars from being exposed to water and also allow the water to drain. The other thing is it needs to be stored in a climate controlled area . Too hot like in the vehicle with high temps might affect the bar.

I’ve gotten pretty used to using shampoo bars from other vendors, and this Solid Shampoo & Conditioner Bar Set fits right into what I already love about using shampoo bars. You have to understand that bars aren’t made for heavy lathers or tackling super thick hair, they’re meant for basic, effective cleansing, and this set does exactly that. The shampoo bar has a clean, linen‑like scent that feels fresh without being overpowering. It lathers nicely, not extreme foam, but a soft, creamy wash that gets the job done well. The conditioner bar melts just enough to smooth through the hair and leaves it feeling light and soft but you do have to use a lot of it. One of my favorite things about this set is how perfect it is for traveling. I’m not a fan of hotel shampoos, so I always bring my own, and solid bars make that so easy. No leaks, no bulky bottles, no TSA issues. Just toss them in your bag and go. The botanical ingredients and natural pH make the bars feel gentle on the scalp, but I’ll be honest: like most shampoo bars, I don’t recommend them if you suffer from dry scalp. First time using bar soap style shampoo / conditioner, seems to work fine. Light soap scent, nothing overpowering. The shampoo suds up easily and works great, I find the conditioner takes some more working around to get enough lathered on. I guess the idea is easy to take traveling which is definitely the case, can pack these right up which is what I intend to keep them for. Hair feels pretty much the same as after using my regular shampoo and conditioner, just maybe takes a tad longer to do.

I picked up this shampoo and conditioner bar set specifically for an upcoming international trip. Great option for travel
This set is a great option for travel, or to keep in your gym bag. The bars have a very pleasant, clean smell, not at all overwhelming. I think it did a good job of both cleaning and conditioning my hair, and while I wouldn’t swap out my regular shampoo/conditioner for this set, it definitely has its place. It’s extremely convenient and priced well.

Good for travel, but not a great value compared to liquid volume.
Love the concept of bar shampoo & conditioner. It saves room when packing with bottles that may or may not leak while traveling. The shampoo lathered up decently well, especially when applied directly to my hair. It was a bit harder to get a lather by itself. It was easy to lather when rubbing it directly on my head, but with my longer than shoulder length hair, it was harder to rub enough on the longer parts. The conditioner didn’t really lather, but once rubbed on my hair, it definitely spread and felt like a traditional conditioner. The scent was subtle, fresh and not overwhelming. I wish that it would be a bit stronger. Overall, not a luxurious, full of lather experience as traditional liquid shampoos and conditioners, but they worked well.Definitely worth considering for travel.My only reason for removing a star, is frankly this isn’t that much shampoo and conditioner for $23, so it’s not a great value.

Impressive set.
I have been very intrigued with bar shampoo and conditioner sets mainly because of how eco friendly they are and how their packaging is completely recyclable. I have tried some with good success and tried others that just did not work well for my hair.For context I have naturally curly hair that is about shoulder to mid length and it is relatively dry as curly hair tends to be. It is also frizzy. It is about a 3A-3B curl pattern with some straighter pieces mixed in. It is more or less curly depending on what products I am using on wash day.I wanted to use this at least twice before writing my review to see exactly if it worked well for my curly hair and to be honest I have been pleasantly surprised.The set came with two shampoo bars and only one conditioner bar. The conditioner bar is slightly thinner than the shampoo ones. For me, I wish it came with more conditioner, as someone with curly hair I tend to go through conditioner faster than shampoo. However, time will tell how long this one lasts.The scent is nice, mild, not super strong which I like.The shampoo bar was very easy to use, I just wet my hair and used it directly on my hair around my scalp and worked it into a bit of a lather and then used my hands/fingers to ensure that my scalp was getting a good cleanse. It worked very well, my hair and scalp felt very clean and it rinsed out perfectly.The conditioner was also easy to use. I normally follow up my shampoo rinse with conditioner and let it sit in my hair while I do other shower things like shaving and washing my body. So I did the same with this bar conditioner, I allowed it to sit. I was able to easily use my shower comb to detangle my hair. It did not have as much slip as regular conditioners but I was still pleasantly surprised with it. My hair was manageable.I did follow up out of the shower with a leave in conditioner but that is my regular routine.I like the set, and dependent on if it continues to work well for me or not I really like I would purchase it again. I have liked using it.One thing that I would change would be to add another conditioning bar to the set, or offer a set that comes with two for people who tend to use more conditioner than shampoo, as is definitely the norm for people with natural curls, or naturally dry hair.Do I recommend? Absolutely.

Not Good For My Hair Type
I ordered this set of shampoo & conditioner bars as my first experience with bar versions. I have only ever used liquid. Starting out the scents are not overpowering at all. I barely smell anything. Just a very light “clean” scent if I were to try to describe it. The shampoo bar is noticeably thicker than the conditioning bar, which I thought would be fine since I tend to double wash my hair since it gets oily, especially at the scalp. After trying these a few times, I’m not impressed with the overall outcome. The shampoo bar takes a lot of work to get a lather. Once it’s lathered, it is a good, thick soapy foam. I’m able to scrub my scalp well with it. After rinsing it out, there is a “squeak” feel to the hair, but it is very much so. I prefer shampoos that are more moisturizing and I feel like this is very stripping, yet it also feels like it’s leaving a film of some kind. It’s so hard to explain. Then I use conditioner. Again, it takes a lot of effort and time to get any from the bar onto the hair. I prefer to not have conditioner on my roots, but unfortunately in order to get the bar working, I need to rub it around the scalp area. I then tried pulling it down my hair to get it spread to the ends. But no matter how much I tried, my ends felt dry/lacking conditioner. I then use the “slip” of conditioner to gently brush out the tangles from shampooing. Due to all the rubbing of the bars, my hair was much more tangled than normal. This conditioner did not have nearly enough creaminess slip to it to help my brush get through. It was a very hard time getting that fixed and my hair smoothed out. I then let it sit for a while as I washed my face and body, then rinsed it out. There was much more sitting at the scalp than I like and my ends were still not moisturized feeling. I thought maybe it just soaked it in and left it as that. Got out of the shower, wrapped my hair in a soft microfibre towel for 10 minutes, then air dried the rest. It took double the time for my hair to get to 100% dryness than normal. So I am thinking it did coat my hair with something. However, my ends were dried out and awful feeling and looking. My hair had some shine to it, but less than my normal and the ends were horrible. My hair is very fine, dense, and wavy curly, but after air drying it was much straighter than normal. Usually I get much more wave and curl to it. Instead it was limp and flat. This will not be something I reach for. Maybe I will use the shampoo bar and use my normal, trusted, conditioners. But I can say I will never use the conditioner bar again. I would rather spend the money on a good mid level liquid shampoo and conditioner, or get double the amount of drugstore brands. This is not worth the price for my hair type.

The scent of the blue shampoo soap is nice. A natural smelling scent.It takes a bit of time to foam up the shampoo.I have long hair, so it took me about 3-4 shampooing to get through the entire process.After I do feel most of the oils are washed off, but some still remained near the scalp.Now I see why 2 shampoo bars are in the set. I need to use more of it to really clean.It does feel very tangled after shampoo, so I HAVE to use the conditioner bar.It’s much harder to work out the conditioner bar.Unlike shampoo, conditioner doesn’t foam and it makes a thin gel.Took about 2-3 conditioning run for that process.I don’t feel particularly different with using these bars.Maybe I’m just too used to the strong cleaning power of the regular products I get from big box stores?I will keep using them to see the effect in the long run.$29.99 means $10 per bar. Not sure if that’s worth it…
