Makes hair feel smooth & soft.
This Raw Batana Oil (from La Moskita, Honduras) is a very nice quality; I love that it’s very thick, but melts into a nice consistency. This product applies nicely onto my hair, and gives it a nice, soft feeling after rinsing out.This is a nice sized jar, and a little goes a long way; I think the jar provides quite a generous amount for several uses. Additionally, there were some hair covers; which are great for when you have the product on your hair, and want to keep it masked/covered during application.I love how pleasantly scented this is; smells like a sweet smell, like delicious cocoa bean or something. I’m very pleased and impressed with how well this works for my hair, and I’ll keep using it. 💖

Thick textured product. Wonderful natural scent. Softer hair.
I have thinning curly tangly hair, and I do like using batana oil for my hair and scalp. It does help with the feeling of fullness. My hair feels softer after this washes out, but I still need to spray water or use a touch more of this, or another leave in product, to help keep my frizz down. I also like the fragrance of this kind of oil, to me kind of like the smell of roasted nuts and caramel. This one smells wonderful too, and the smell is not too strong. I put this on my hair dry, and I shower it off after it sits for a couple hours. The only thing different I am noticing about this brand’s product is that it is one of the more thicker oils, more like a stiff paste rather than a soft oil. I couldn’t quite gauge how much to grab out of the jar, as thicker product is harder to spread out, so I felt like I was using even more of the product than if it was a softer more spreadable consistency. I was able to warm it up some between my palms, but our weather here is still summer, and hot, and I would think this product would be softer in my current room temperature. The hair “bonnet” it ships with is a nice little perk, but it really is just an inexpensive utilitarian helper, and not anything that I think will last very long. It is relatively small sized, but I was able to tie my hair up on my head and most of my hair fits under it.

Good For the Hair…
I have long hair, and occasionally it will get brittle, even though I only wash it every other day to retain the oils in my hair. It is fine hair, and that is one of the pitfalls of being blonde. Anyway, I bought this to help, and have been using it for several weeks, and I have noticed a definitive difference in my hair. I was pleased that they included a shower cap as well to use while the Batana is sitting in my hair. You apply it to hair and wait approximately 20-30 minutes before rinsing and washing your hair. You may see results sooner than I did, but I wanted to be sure which is why I waited until I had used it a few times. Now I know that this Batana oil actually works. My hair feels thicker, and it is somewhat softer and isn’t as prone to breakage as before. I also like the scent, which is a bit like coffee (at least to me).This is a very good product at a very good price. There is enough in the jar to last through several washes or more depending upon how long your hair is. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to others.

Good quality pure Batana Oil!
This is pure Batana oil, which is excellent for hair. I have been using Batana oil for my hair for several months now, and I have noticed a difference in the softness and shine of my hair, plus I have been seeing new growth. You need to get pure Batana oil for these results, and this one is pure. It comes with one shower cap, random color, which you can use for overnight Batana oil treatments, but don’t expect much from the shower cap. It’s a very thin, hotel-quality shower cap, very small, so if you have long hair, it will not work for you. They are basically giving you the shower cap for free, though, so I can’t take away any star for the poor quality of the shower cap. Get it for the quality of the Batana oil, which is excellent!

Works as described
The product itself is a thick paste at room temperature, but melts into an easily applied liquid when rubbed between the palms. The site lists this as organic with no additives, so the fragrance is natural an pleasant, it reminds me of a good cappuccino. As far as efficacy, I applied as directed to my hair and longish goatee as directed, leave in for 30 minutes and shampoo out normally, The results are impressive, my hair is softer and smoother as is the coarser beard hair. The label indicates this is suitable for all hair types, just to level set my hair is thin, curly, tends to “flyaway “ when it’s over shampooed. This product really makes a noticeable difference in the overall look and feel, split ends are much improved. As far as promoting hair growth, or reducing hair loss, I haven’t been using the product long enough to have an informed opinion. Lastly, as I mentioned my beard is softer and more manageable after application and wash out, I tried this oil as a leave in beard balm and a little bit works better than any other beard product I have used previously. Great product. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using pure Batana oil as a pre-shower treatment, and it’s quickly become a favorite in my hair care routine. I used to rely on coconut oil, but after hearing about the benefits of Batana oil, I had to give it a shot. To apply it, I warm a little between my hands to get it to the right consistency, then massage it into my scalp. The kit even includes a shower cap to prevent messes while the oil works its magic.I like to take it up a notch by soaking a towel in hot water, wringing it out, and wrapping it around my head.
