Hard to Verify Claims
I gave this two stars because while the product itself seems fine enough, I simply didn’t see any noticeable results from using it. The bottle is easy to apply, the oil has a reasonable consistency, and I didn’t experience any irritation or other negative side effects. The problem is that I also didn’t experience anything positive that I could clearly attribute to the product.This is marketed as a growth-boosting hair and scalp serum with claims related to growth, moisture, and overall hair health. Moisture and shine are somewhat subjective, but hair growth is something most people are hoping to see tangible evidence of over time. After using it consistently, I couldn’t point to any visible change that would make me feel confident recommending it specifically for that purpose.To be fair, hair growth products are notoriously difficult to review because everyone’s hair, scalp, genetics, and expectations are different. It’s entirely possible that longer-term use could produce results for some people. My issue is that based on my own experience, there wasn’t enough of a difference for me to verify any of the major claims being made.The product also leaves hair feeling a bit oily if you use more than a small amount, which isn’t surprising given the castor oil content. That means you may need to plan around wash days or use it more as an overnight treatment than a daily styling product.Overall, I wouldn’t call it a bad product. It didn’t cause any problems, and the formula seems perfectly usable. I just couldn’t observe any meaningful or measurable improvement that justified the growth-focused marketing. If you’re curious and don’t mind experimenting, it may be worth trying, but based on my results, I can’t personally confirm that it delivers on its advertised benefits.

Castor Oil For The Win
I love castor oil for multiple uses, but especially for helping my thinning hair to thicken. The way this bottle is designed is good for being able to put the oil directly against the scalp in sections, then work it into the skin. It’s incredibly moisturizing and has a wonderful, shining effect when washed out. This is not a put on and go formula, though, at least not for me. It’s quite heavy so I use it at night and have to wash my hair if I’m going out in the morning. But for the effectiveness, that’s a small price to pay.

A nice, lightweight scalp oil
I’ve really been enjoying this hair oil. I love Korean beauty and hair-care products, so I decided to give this one a try after noticing some thinning around my hairline.I’ve been using it for a couple of months, mostly when I wash my hair, and I really like how it feels on my scalp. It provides nice moisture without making my hair greasy, and I haven’t experienced any strange smell, itching, or uncomfortable buildup.I haven’t noticed a significant amount of new hair growth yet, but I also think products like this need consistent use over a longer period of time before you can really judge the results. Use it sparingly
This hair oil smells amazing. It has a clean herbaceous scent that leaves the hair smelling fresh and clean. Make sure you use only 3-4 drops in sections and at the root (aim to getting it on the scalp more than the hair).I thought it would be thicker consistency since caster oil and glycerine can resemble honey. It’s clear and lightweight.The jury is still out on whether it actually helped my hair to grow, but it felt healthier and has less frizz lately.I am thankful for this oil in my hair toolbox. I recommend!

Promising Results So Far with a Refreshing, Lightweight Feel
I’ve only been using this scalp serum for about 10 days, so I think it’s still too early to make any big claims about hair growth. That said, I have struggled with thin, fine hair and increased shedding for quite a while, and one thing I have noticed already is that I’m seeing less hair fall than I was before I started using it. That alone has made me optimistic enough to keep using it.One thing I found a little confusing was the directions. They mention applying it to freshly washed hair, but I don’t wash my hair every day. Because of that, I’ve been using it every few days after I wash my hair rather than daily. I’m not sure how my results compare to someone who uses it every day as directed, so I’d love to see a little more clarification in the instructions for people who don’t shampoo daily.The serum itself is really pleasant to use. It has a clean, spa-like scent that’s relaxing without being overpowering. It feels soothing on my scalp, absorbs surprisingly quickly, and doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy or weighed down, which is a huge plus since my hair is naturally fine.While I can’t speak to long-term growth results yet, my initial experience has been positive. The reduction in shedding, lightweight formula, and comfortable feel on my scalp have been enough to encourage me to continue using it. Not Enough Castor Oil for Me . . .
I decided to try this SpaLife Pro Growth Pure Castor Oil after a recent, positive, first-time experience with a different castor oil product. I’d spent most of my life unaware of the oil’s beneficial properties, but within the last 6 months had become increasingly aware of new products containing castor oil (with varying degrees of believable claims). And so, I thought I’d try SpaLife as my second foray into this useful substance.There was not an ingredient list of the SpaLife Pro Growth available at the time I ordered it. Now, bottle in hand, I can see that the ingredients are, in order of presence: Water, Glycerin, 4 different humectants/moisturizers (Methylpropanediol, Saccharide Isomerate, Butylene glycol, and Propylene glycol), and—coming in as the 7th ingredient: “PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil”. This is followed by additional ingredients, including aloe extract and tea tree leaf oil. (One can smell the tea tree oil).This is a lower concentration of castor oil than I expected for a product that listed “Castor Oil” so prominently in the title, and on the front of the bottle. Less oil and the prominence of water and glycerine explained why the SpaLife product was so runny when I tested some on the back of my hand. (Pure castor oil is thick and viscous like a colorless molasses).I rubbed in the Pro Growth on my hand. The tea tree scent and a slight stickiness remained for a few minutes, and then faded. I next tried it on my toenails and feet. It was lightly moisturizing for a while, but just not the right thing for me.I may try this again on my nails, but I’m not impressed enough with the amount of castor oil in this product to use it on more crucial areas, like my hair and brows. I wouldn’t get results similar to the concentration I’ve been using for the last 4 months.Someone who seeks a less concentrated moisturizing product than I do might find this to be just the right thing.

Smells good, does not leave any residue.
I am basing this review on what I know of the product as it is too soon to see any results.The first thing I noticed about this product is the smell, to me, it smells a little minty and I am good with that as it is very mild but refreshing; it is going to smell different to different people. The next thing I noticed was how clear the liquid is, it feels a little sticky but the final result feels as if I have not applied anything to my scalp. This is a huge bonus for me as products can feel thick and heavy on my hair but this did not change the texture or appearance of my hair in any way. I’ve attached a picture of a specific area that I am having some hair loss and as you can see, there is no greasy residue.As I said above, I cannot review how well it works as I have only used it a couple of times since I received it, however, I did research on the ingredients before using it. There is nothing in this bottle that I would deem harmful. Everything is typical of stimulating growth and/or moisturizing skin, I won’t use anything on my hair that has ingredients I am not familiar with.
