Awesome Sugaring Paste!
I have a back injury and it was very hard to keep up with shaving so I decided to try sugaring. I have sensitive skin and coarse hair so I grabbed the Hard paste. The first part I sugared was my legs, it hurt as you’re ripping out your hair, but it hurt MUCH less than I thought it would! It was easy to learn, I watched many tutorials before it came. It certainly saves money with all the product you get, and it saves me from additional back pain! Since I’ve never had my legs waxed I imagine the growth will be different at first but the first time lasted me almost three weeks! The only time I’ve been waxed at the salon was my Brazilian, with sugar wax and strips. My skin was enflamed for days and it was painful, but not with this! It was PAINLESS, I swear! NO redness or swelling! This stuff is GREAT, a nice choice for anyone who is tired of shaving and getting that awful razor burn. It exfoliates and leaves your skin looking beautiful! Try it!

I tried to use this but my legs stuck together!!
I thought this would be easy to use and maybe for a pro, it is. But for this amateur.. I almost permanently closed “shop” down there. At first, I carefully removed a small amount and began working it with my fingers. It became silky and opaque and it appeared to be ready to apply and rip out the hair on the inside of my thighs (I hate shaving there) I stood before my vanity mirror so I could see what I was doing. It was very sticky as I smeared it on my skin. I pulled up fast expecting the hair to rip out painfully but all that happened was the wax stretched and stayed attached to my thigh. I tried pulling more off and it was like chewed bubble gum. It wasn’t coming off like I had hoped.. it was instead spreading more on my skin.It was getting very sticky and didn’t want to release. I realized I needed to get it off and fast. As I tried to walk to go into the bathroom, my inner thighs stuck to each other. I was now waddling across the room. Each time I moved, more of my skin on one thigh, adhered to the skin on the other thigh. By the time I got to the bath, the wax had started to melt down my legs. I got to the shower, climbed in and turned on the highest heat to attempt to melt the wax. That didn’t work. I was panicking trying to think of how to get this wax off and free my thighs (amongst other things) from the sticky grip of the wax. Now I know what a fly feels like on fly paper. Eventually with some patience and the hot water of shower, I was able to pull my legs apart. The wax slowly came off and I could breathe freely again. When I dried off there was some residual stickiness but nothing some mineral oil couldn’t handle. Now the full container of wax sits on my shelf and mocks me. I know when I’m beat but worse than that, I’m very afraid to try again. Still.. I’m sure a professional would like it very much. It just doesn’t work for me.

Great for wintertime, okay for summer
I decided to wait until a couple months had passed before writing a review because I wanted to make sure my opinions were actually reliable.At first, after purchasing this sugar paste, this stuff was a mess! I had a very difficult time controlling it when trying to wax my legs. There were numerous occasions where it flew off my hand and stuck to the wall or the floor. Thankfully, the wax is water soluble, so it was easy to clean up! As time went on, I began using the plastic waxing tool thing rather than my hands and that seemed to work way better! I was able to more effectively get the “wrist flick” and get more hair out with each pass…and the wax didn’t fly off and hit the wall!In terms of effectiveness, I have yet to see it get ALL of the hair. This wax does a much better job at pulling the dark, thicker hairs rather than the light, thinner hairs on my legs. I find myself still needing to shave the remainder of those little guys after I wax, but my legs do tend to stay completely smooth for at least 3-5 days after waxing! It is also worth mentioning that my legs are definitely more sensitive for the first 24 hours after waxing. They feel kind of tingly-ish, and I notice things brushing against them more frequently. I also have some red bumps all over for 6-12 hours after waxing. This makes sense, though, as I am ripping the hair out of its follicles…of course there will be some irritation and redness immediately after!In terms of timing, this wax is better used in the wintertime rather than the summer because I need to let my hair grow out enough for the wax to actually grab a hold of it. I don’t like to do in the summer since my legs show more frequently, but in the winter when my legs are covered most of the time, I have no qualms letting my hair grow out a bit!

Prepare to spend triple time waxing just cleaning off your fingers
If you like wax that you can only get three pulls out of before it sticks to your fingers and skin so much that you can barely get it off and need fresh wax in order to do so — this is your solution. I bought this once and it was great and something changed and now I dread having to get through it. I spend most of my time at the sink and trashcan trying to get it off my fingers and it takes triple the time it would to wax even a small area. Not to mention, often I have to use it like regular wax instead of sugar and pull against the hair growth for it to work. Just overall like working with honey out of a bottle and no strips. This should probably have strips actually. It shouldn’t be sold as hard sugar wax

I love this stuff! I’ve been using this stuff for 2+ years and have never had any problems. I’ve found that its easier to use with strips than just the usual way to sugar wax creating a ball. The amount is perfect, I only have to order a couple times a year!
