Didn’t know what I was missing
Twenty years working the shaving soap up in my hand, and I didn’t know what I was missing. The best lather from soap and a brush I’ve ever had. My routine is to fill the bowl with hot water in the sink while I shower, then after loading the brush with the hard shaving soap, I work up the lather with a little water in this bowl. Nice and heavy marble stone for a good satisfying grip, many ridges inside, and the lather is the thickest and warmest and fastest I’ve ever made. What a fantastic discovery. Many thanks.

Performs well and repairable too.
This is real marble. Solid and heavy. The raised circular pattern in he bottom of the bowl appears to increase lathering speed.If it is cold out you need to put hot water in it a second time before usng because it takes a bit to heat it to keep the lather warm.Repairable too. My beautiful wife knocked it off the windowsill in the bathroom. Took about a a 3/16 chunk out of the rim. Fixed it with a little tile grout. Smoothed it off; let dry 24 hr and it works fine. Can a ceramic bowl do that. By the way. Woman Amen by Dieriks Bently.

I absolutely love my Supply Marble Shaving Bowl. It has a good size and weight without being cumbersome. The ridges inside the bowl provide a textured surface on which my brush can create loads of warm, rich lather. I let the bowl soak in the hot water for a couple of minutes while the sink fills. The marble retains the heat and keeps the lather warm throughout my shave. It’s like having a hot lather dispenser on my bath counter. Strongly recommended!

The craftsmanship and quality shows!
This shaving bowl is designed for an excellent lather. Grooves on the inside allow for the cream to catch on the inside and build up a lather much easier and quicker. It’s not flimsy either; it carries good weight but is still light enough to hold comfortably.Be aware: it does not retain heat very well, being made of marble and all. This should be expected, so be sure to wrap a warm cloth around the bowl if you want it to heat your lather.That said, this is an excellent addition to anyone’s shaving accessories. It’s crafted beautifully, cleans easily, and serves its purpose with no complications. This will likely be a “buy it for life” item for me; so consider it as a thoughtful gift for someone that needs a new shaving bowl.

Use it for every shave. Would replace if it broke.
Pros: I use this to lather from shaving soap or puck. I heat it with warm water with my brush in it while I heat my beard and put on pre-shave. It retains heat pretty good so I have warm lather for the second shave – not the third. It looks nice, easy to hold. I use it every time I shave. It feels hefty – just right.Cons: Haven’t found any yet.

I’ve been meaning to review this product for a while now. I wanted to use it for a few months before reviewing. This is one of those rare products that is almost too perfect. First off the white marble looks wonderful. There are grooves in the marble that help make an amazing lather. I’m able to get a full lather in half the time. The texture of the bowl also helps a lot. My mind was blown instantly upon using this shave bowl and my excitement has not faded. The people at supply are true craftsmen.

Along with this marble bowl, I bought a Pusee Candle Mug Warmer Electric with Auto On/Off Gravity-Induction Warming to heat up the bowl while I’m getting breakfasts, making the bed, etc. I use the 150-degree setting that gets the bowl very warm. When ready to shave, I move the bowl to the counter on the side of the sink, and it stays warm through 2 brush lathered runs of my shave. A very pleasurable experience and a great way to start the day.
