Do not recommend.
For the money I paid it’s a poor product. It doesn’t curl like it should and the straightener part doesn’t straighten unless you grab the end and hold it tighter. There is not grip on the hair. Very sad considering cost. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Difficult to use for thick hair
I found this product very hard to use. Maybe it will get better with practice, but I found it only works with very small sections of hair at a time. I have thick, curly blond hair and I could not get a good result in a reasonable time. And having to wear the glove (which is very nice that they provide it) made me even more clumsy. I have better luck with my T3 straightener and then a curling iron or even hot rollers. Sorry😟. For the price , I thought I should say something. It might be great for people with thinner hair or more skilll.

Awful design – burn risk
I used a GHD for years before this, and loved it but apparently this is the one to get these days. I had never burned by hands before this hair straightener. It’s shocking. What an awful design. It’s too late to return. So incredibly disappointed.

Awesome straightener. My wife has very long and very thick hair, and this straightens it very nicely. The outside serves as a curling iron with the same affect. Really speeds up her process of getting ready and that’s one thing every guy dreams about.

Very poor designed
Believe the reviews, this thing is very poorly designed. It is default open, which means that your hand does the clamping closed and you have to hold it closed. It is not possible to hold closed the straightener and turn it at the same time if you are trying to curl. Also if you have fine hair the straightener does not clamp tight enough to hold the hair, so as you attempt to turn the device for a curl the hair just falls out. If you have long hair, it is likely to get caught in the gold decorative pieces.

Leaves hair dry
I bought this with my own money (just over $200 including tax) because I struggled to find genuine reviews. Most reviews I found were either from people who received the product for free or influencers promoting it, while the negative ones mostly came from people who simply didn’t know how to use a flat iron for curls.I have been styling my own hair for over 15 years and I’m very experienced with curling wands, flat irons and heatless methods. My go-to tools are Bed Head curling irons (which leave my hair soft, shiny and hold curls until my next wash) and a GHD Platinum+ straightener, which I’ve owned for years.I absolutely love the softer, quicker curls you can create with a flat iron but my problem has always been that they leave my hair very dry and the curls only last for the evening. I hoped this T3 would combine the best of both worlds: the soft flat-iron curl with the shine, softness and long-lasting hold of a curling wand.Unfortunately, it performs almost exactly like my GHD. I noticed no real benefit from the heated outer plates. The curls looked the same, my hair felt just as dry and the curls still didn’t last nearly as long as those created with a curling wand.Another issue was the small gold side bars. Even with plenty of experience, my hair occasionally caught on them, causing strands to snag instead of gliding smoothly. That means unnecessary pulling combined with heat, which is the last thing I want for my hair.If you already own a good straightener and know how to curl with it, I don’t think this offers anything noticeably different to justify the price. If you can’t curl with a regular straightener, this won’t magically make it easier either, the technique is essentially the same.I returned it after one use. The curls were pretty but no better than those I already achieve with a standard flat iron. If you need one tool that can both straighten and curl, it may suit you. Otherwise, I’d honestly recommend either buying a quality straightener like a GHD or, even better, a good curling wand if your priority is healthy-looking, shiny, long-lasting curls. For me, this simply isn’t worth the $188 price tag (over $200 with tax). If it had been around $30, I might have kept it but at this price, I can’t recommend it.

Don’t waste your money
I normally love T3 but the design on this dropped the ball. I was excited for the cover and the little kick stands but the cover broke the one little stand off in my luggage.Also there is no way to turn off the outer curling plates so if you plan on using this for a flat iron a lot be prepared to burn your face a lot and your hands because the glove fell apart in 2 weeks on me.Another issue I have is the area around the display heats up too hot to touch which makes me feel like the electrical will fail easily.Otherwise, the heating and smoothing is well done. I’m just frustrated because it was an expensive flat iron and would’ve liked a 3 month return window for this many problems. T3 is usually the only flat iron I will buy. *sigh*UPDATE: Now the bottom rest broke off while in use. What a piece. I’ll be contacting T3 now because this is sad.
