Very Cute, Not for Thin/Fine Hair
These are super cute, and sturdy. Depending on how you place them, they can look like little devil horns coming up from the back of your head, which people really seem to get a kick out of. They are thicker and heavier than expected, and as a consequence- were I not a professional Cosmetologist, they’d be a bit problematic to make work in my fine hair. These works be great for someone with a thick mane of medium to long hair looking for something to twist into it to pin it up casually. I only have one real complaint, they are not as smoothly finshed as I would expect; they are NOT rough or snagging, but I expected a sealed satin finish since these are for hair, and these are not as expected for the intended use. If I modified them, then their stain would likely be ruined in the sanding process, so they’ll stay as is.

These are very nice cresent moons. They are a little thicker than I am used to. My hair needs a slightly looser twist to use them. They are perfect around Halloween since turning them will give the illusion of horns on your head. Love to use them that way. Holds my hair all day.

*ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY*FIRST, I bought these June 22nd, accounting for shipping and the days I felt it was futile to wear them, on July 2nd I was walking out of Sheetz and the black one (most important to me) slipped out of my hair FOR THE THOUSANDTH TIME and fell on the pavement and cracked in half. I BARELY wore this color as it was my “going out” color.Second, THEY FALL OUT *ALL THE TIME*. I have really curly, very ratty hair and these just DO NOT STAY IN. I used to wear hair “chopsticks” and just pens and pencils in my hair every day and never ever had them fall out like these do.Third, THEY PAINFULLY PULL ON YOUR HAIR if you get them tight enough to POSSIBLY not fall out. I’m trying to switch from claw clips and ChatGPT said these would be good for the hair thinning there. Nein. No. Non. Ghobe. 🚫. It pulls, and painfully so.Difficult to use, does not function well as a hair accessory, very cheap and lightweight wood. I was surprised it was solid as it felt light enough to be made of glue + sawdust.I’m usually very ingenious, innovative, and can make just about anything work. Not these. I really wanted them to as they’re awesome, but the shape, size, and varnish womped it.

Excellent piece but rough
It is a beautiful hairpiece. I do not believe it will hold the hair on its own. It is just a decorative piece. I will use it. I give it only 4 stars because it is wood, or appears to be wood, and its finish is not smooth enough to slide comfortably and hold my hair. I know that if I am not careful, it will pull my strands or damage my hair. I think the piece needs further polishing to make its surface really smooth. However, it is a very pretty piece. It is light and stays in the hair. It is a good value for what is paid.

Love these so much! There’s a learning curve but if you can figure it out, they’re amazing!
I love a French pin, but this thing is really hard for me to use. That being said, because of the shape, once it’s in there it’s VERY secure for hours! I love the large size. I do feel odd wearing other statement jewelry type pieces with it but it’s great to elevate what is essentially a messy bun on its own. Also really durable, my kids threw one down the stairs and it didn’t take a bit of damage 😅

These pieces are so unique, absolutely worth the price for three! I have played around with them for two nights so far, and have been creatively inspired to see what sort of new spins I can put on my typical buns or hair stick styles.
