    Easy application and natural color, but washes off completely in one day if used on brows

    I wanted a fast alternative to Just for Men boxed beared dye, (I use this to tint my eyebrows) it usually last 3 days in a row, so I decided to try this for a faster alternative, it comes with a wand applicator, I used an actual small make up brush. The color payoff was great—a subtle, natural soft black that matched my brows well. The application was quick and foolproof and I had no skin irritation at all. I didn’t use soap and water to remove after I used a wet wipe and it was fine, color stayed on great.But! At the end of the day after washing my face I realized, it has zero staying power past a single face wash. Even leaving it on for 15 minutes, it rinsed off 100% at the end of the day. Good for a quick daytime cover-up, but definitely not a lasting tint on the brows. Perhaps it might work better on actual beards I don’t have one haha, but for tinting the eyebrows.If you are just looking for a smear free ,waterproof solution for your brows just for 24 hours it is perfect for that, if you need something to last longer go with the beard box dye instead.

    3 minutes and my beard stops shouting my age

    My beard has apparently decided it’s in charge of announcing my age to strangers. One gray hair shows up, then brings six friends, and pretty soon they’re having a neighborhood block party on my chin. This temporary black beard color lets me brush over those little traitors without going full chemistry-lab beard dye. The wand is actually pretty easy to control, so I can hit the gray hairs in my beard, mustache, or sideburns without coloring half my face like a kid who found a permanent marker. The part I like most is that it doesn’t make the beard look like I colored it with black house paint. It coats the individual hairs, so the color looks more even and defined without turning everything into one giant fuzzy eyebrow attached to my jaw. No mixing bowls, gloves, little bottles of mystery goo, or standing in the bathroom wondering which chemical is about to permanently stain the sink. Brush it on clean, dry hair, give it around three minutes to set, and move along with your life. It also holds up pretty well through normal daily stuff. Sweat and a little splashing aren’t supposed to make it immediately abandon ship, although this is washable color, not something designed for deep-sea beard exploration. I used it before heading out for the day, noticed a few particularly bright gray hairs near my chin, brushed those areas, got dressed while it set, and suddenly my beard looked less like it had recently received its AARP paperwork. Just make sure it’s completely dry before pulling a shirt over your head unless you want your collar participating in the makeover. Then when you’re done pretending Father Time doesn’t know where you live, soap and water takes it back off. That’s probably my favorite part. I can cover the gray when I feel like it and leave it alone when I don’t. Patch test it first, keep it out of your eyes, and let it dry before touching everything in sight. Basically, treat it with slightly more responsibility than a tween treats a tube of toothpaste, and it works quite nicely.

    It works, but it’s not right for me

    I’m a little on the fence as to how to rate this. There are some good and bad things about it. I would not personally recommend this as a day-to-day item, but it might be right for a specific outing or to have your picture taken.Starting with the good, this is very easy to apply. The little brush was easy to use and the coverage was good with just a couple of strokes. I didn’t experience any blobs or build-up, and it did a great job of covering the gray. If if it is a good match for your regular hair color, it will look pretty natural. It is also pretty easy to remove when you’re done.On the downside, it stays tacky and very easily transfers to other surfaces. If you run your hand across your facial hair, you’ll get it on your fingers. If it makes contact with your clothing or a napkin, you’re going to find it there too. If there is any chance that someone else will touch for face for some reason, they’re going to notice it immediately and get a handful of black.It’s not a bad product, and I’ll give it four stars for doing what it sets out to do, but it’s really not for me.

    Great little application but be sure you have a thick beard or hair or mustache when using.

    So I think you need to have some expectations properly established and the appropriate application considered when using this product.The appropriate application from a beard perspective, would be that you are not trying to cover up a x o’clock shadow beard. You know, super short beard. The dye & applicator will just make a mess of your face. Unless there is some type of trick, i would consider this not to be advantageous for the short shadow beard & mustache.However,…. if you have a normal thick beard, this will work great to cover up the grey. I have a shadow beard, and it did not work for that application, however, I used it on my temple area where the applicator brush only touches the hair itself, and it applied quite nicely (see photos of before & after). Now I only did a quick 1 time apply, not going for full blackness but just less grey and you can see that worked fine.The question I have is transfer.I waited 5min and then ran a tissue over the area, and you can see the results from the photo of the tissue.I’m a bit concerned that this could transfer rather easily to pillows, headrests, maybe even your partner if using on the beard & mustache, but also possibly your shirt.Overall, the application is spot on for thick hair areas, but I’d be careful where you put your head while this is applied at least for the first 5-10 minutes. I gave it 4 hours and i still wiped a tissue and could see transfer (see photo), and in addition, the hair felt sticky to a degree. Because of the transfer issue, I have to lower its rating, and the texture simply feels improper.

    It works and it can cover gray white hairs effectively.

    I received this Temporary Beard Color for Men. Yes it says for men but is great for woman too. I use it on my eye brows and my baby gray hair. It works very well and cover those gray white hair effectively. This product do the job right and is as described by the seller. The instructions on seller Amazon page are easy to understand and easy to follow. I like that this product works fast and is extremely portable so I can take it with me in my purse and do touch ups on the way. No rash or irritation while I was using this wonderful product. It was easy to remove with just soap and water. Is very durable, mine lasted many long hours, and it seems it was made with good quality ingredients. The price of only 9.95 at the time of this review makes this product extremely affordable and great value product. It makes great gift for males or females and I recommend this product.

    Easy Temporary Coverage for a Graying Beard

    This brush-on color is a convenient option for covering gray hairs in a beard or mustache without using a permanent dye. My beard is starting to get gray, and this makes it easy to darken selected areas and get a more even appearance when I want it.The small brush applicator gives good control, especially around the mustache, sideburns, and individual gray patches.
