Good Shampoo. Conditioner only detangles

This review is based on my use of this product for about a month. I have 4c ethnic hair.With regards to the shampoo: I like the fact that it leaves my hair moisturized and it doesn’t feel stripped at the end. Also, a little bit of this goes a long way! However, I don’t necessarily feel that my scalp is clean after using. But this might be my own fault since I am used to “stripping” shampoos.The conditioner is great for detangling. As soon as I put it on, my hair feels like butter and the knots just go away. However, it doesn’t really hidrate my hair. Its consistency is very runny and the hydrating effect washes away at the same time as I wash the conditioner. I will probably keep using the shampoo but look for another conditioner.

I stumbled across this brand while shopping at tjmaxx when I bought the green tea leave in conditioner. It smelled amazing and I loved it but did not see any other products there. So began my online search for TGIN products. After reading all of the reviews I decided to give this shampoo and conditioner a try. WHOA, is all I can say! This takes the frizzies out of my hair after blow drying it straight and my hair has never felt so dang soft! I have combination oily/dry hair and these products gently clean my hair and add moisture without making it look too greasy. I can even go 3 days without washing my hair still which is awesome. The shampoo doesn’t foam up like others but it still leaves my hair feeling clean. The smell is amazing and reminds me of being on a tropical island. Also has helped with my itchy scalp as well. I have found a new brand for life and cannot wait to try the other products as well!

By the way, I never thought I would have good curls because I have extremely bad shrinkage to the point you can’t even see the curls, it just looks extremely short and “nappy” as they would say. My daughter loves this shampoo and conditioner! Her curls and coils look beautiful, and her hair feels clean, fresh, and soft after using them. I only wish it worked as well for my other daughter, but we all have different hair types. Definitely a combo my daughter wants to purchase again!
