Caster Oil
I have heard about this oil and its perfect healing abilities through a friend andthrough reading books from Edgar Cayce. He used this oil a lot during or while hishealing processes. Now, after I have read this book, which does refer very much to Cayce,I feel surprised and positive about this “palm of Christi”. I am German (as such, sorryfor mistakes)and here in our country it is totally unknown for healing purposes and thisis a pity. I now will inform as many people as possible. For me this oil is animportant part of alternative healing possibilities, and each one should learn to use it.

Fascinating information
I am just now reading this book and am fascinated by the information in it. The book was recommended by my instructor when I recently took a Reflexology certification course. She has been using castor oil exclusively for her family’s health care needs and told us that her children have never taken antibiotics for ear or throat infections. When they are becoming ill she makes up castor oil packs and just by applying the packs to their throat or abdomen, the problem resolves. I was so amazed by what she said in class that I had to buy the book the minute I got home. I have read about a third of it and I’m already intrigued by the power of castor oil. I’ve applied it to a skin rash and it’s helping when prescribed creams did little. I haven’t yet tried the castor oil packs or used any internally but I plan to add that to my regimen soon. This is a book that everyone who is interested in holistic health care should read. Why poison yourself with medications that have side effects when a pure oil, that is named “the palm of Christ” can help with problems such as skin lesions, hyperactivity, gallbladder attacks, liver conditions,constipation and much more. I highly recommend this book.

great book
The information given in this book is not far short of being miraculous and having tried it castor oil since I read the book, I can confirm from my experience that castor oil is magic. I’ve put it on small wounds ( not had any big ones) and it does seem to heal quickly. Using it currently over my whole abdomen area and as a laxative after a liver flush, also to see if it helps with my internal piles. All seems ok, tis a work in progress.

Highly useful but a slog to read
This book is replete with truly fascinating information, including engaging historical data on healing and very helpful ideas about how to use castor oil to maintain and revive wellness. I wish the author had hired a savvy editor, however: Fully half the text could be deleted without losing the information the reader wants to find. I found the text to be repetitive and turgid in many spots, as if the author, Dr. William McGarey, had just dumped his lab notebook, his memoirs, and his medical notes into publication, with little thought for composition, brevity, or organization. He flips back and forth on topics, with little regard for his own chapter headings. Indeed, the chapter-breaks seem almost random, more like a place to put your bookmark and fall asleep than a change of topic. Amazingly, the book STILL GETS 3 STARS from me, because the author has a lot to teach us. His expertise makes up for his writing. Castor oil heals both small and large maladies, and this book added significantly to my knowledge of how to use it. I had to set aside my prejudice against Edgar Cayce, whom Dr. McGarey quotes — I don’t like to get medical advice from psychics — but it’s not castor oil’s fault that all kinds of humans, including mystics, have advocated on its behalf over the centuries. You don’t need to believe in anything non-scientific to learn the amazing properties of castor oil. I first learned about castor oil after 9/11, almost a decade and a half ago, when a medical doctor (decidedly NOT a psychic) told me that castor oil was the only thing that could prevent anthrax. The doctor reminded me that farm families gave castor oil to their children in centuries past on a regular basis for that very reason. (Anthrax was a common scourge on farms with animals.) Farm kids lined up in the kitchen and Mom gave them each a spoonful of the stuff to swallow. It was also given as a punishment, since it tastes terrible! A punishment that was good for the kid at the same time! Castor oil can cure athletes foot and bladder infections overnight and zap zits into oblivion. The only reason it’s not more popular is its taste and texture: both are admittedly awful: It’s very sticky to touch and gag-worthy taste. But you can be clever and mix it with other things: it goes down the hatch tolerably with orange juice– think of it like a vodka shot! — and it goes on the skin beautifully if mixed with other oils, such as sea buckthorn, coconut, or sesame. Buy this book by William McGarey to learn and heal, NOT to enjoy — kind of like castor oil itself. 🙂

Totally, and oil that heals – it’s truly a miracle cure
This book opened so many new doors for me with using castor oil in my life. Since reading this book, I’ve recommended castor oil to my dad for his knee pain (which went away overnight after applying a castor oil pack) and also to a friend who had breast pain (in her case the pain went away in 1 hour – she was astonished and so was I). I recently did a 21-day water fast at home after following Water Fasting book by Jennifer Thompson. That experience got me on the track to making long term changes and a commitment to my health like never before. Since then, I started doing gallbladder flushes from the Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush book. Somehow this book came into the mix and I started doing castor oil packs for my liver. I usually do about 1 per month or whenever I feel really tired and overworked. It’s like recharging my batteries, and after I feel energized, clear in my mind and ready to take on the world again. I hope to never have to use the castor oil for more serious ailments but am so thankful that it’s now in my medicine cabinet at home and I know that it’s there if I need it.

I loved this book
Many health problems big and small that can be used with caster oil such a simple treatment but so effective . Some can’t be bothered because they feel its a messy cure . But i took the challenge of finding how to do it without mess The rewards are boundless cured my varicose veins after a week of caster oil packs never to have problems again in 8 years. If you are a person who doesn’t like medication with side effects you will grow to love caster oil which puts your whole body back in balance. This book is a wonderful read and one to keep for reference . I love that I can buy these types of books on Amazon I’m 82 and use to have hard copies of all Edgar Casey books. Now i can get many of the natural healing books to read on my kindle.

the rockefellers et al took all the cheap easy cures for things and buried em. look around, the people don’t look good. go back to the old medicine, eat well, exercise and thrive. looking around at our population makes me nervous, folks look terrible. where does a country go when it’s people are fat, sick and depressed. c’mon y’all, we’ve been conned but it’s on us! let’s get it together. this book is a good start.

Case Studies and the Power of Belief
I found the case studies in this book to be very engaging and well-documented. I purchased this specifically to help manage a medical condition, and after one month of use, I have noticed some positive changes. My specialist has granted me a time extension before we decide on further medical intervention, so I am still in the observation phase. While I can’t yet confirm the long-term effectiveness of the protocols, I believe the author’s mention of ‘Christ Consciousness’ highlights that one’s belief and faith in the treatment play a significant role in the healing process. Either way I gave it 5 stars because I enjoyed reading the book.
