These clippers arrived quickly and were well packaged. They come in a handy case that keeps them together and easy to find. I am impressed with the ease with which they cut even thick nails. I work as an M.A. in a podiatry office and appreciate tools that are both heavy duty and well made. I am used to professional nail nippers and am fairly picky when it comes to choosing a set to use at home. The very fine tip helps get comfortably into small spaces at the nail edges. The little curette included will help debride any small particles from beneath the nail comfortably, and of course there is a file included to clean up any rough edges. The tooks are a comfortable size and feel good in the hand. I plan to use these often at home. Great value for the price. I would recommend this set.

Good nail clipper set
A 4 piece tool set for nails that comes in a black case. Each tool serves a different purpose but has an end goal of cutting/maintaining your/someones nails.In terms of quality, I found that each tool was well made.1. You’ll probably be using the clippers the most for cutting your nails while the rest is more for maintenance.2. The edge clippers does however have some time getting used to if you don’t cut frequently.3. The pick is for scraping stuff along the nailbed. It has it’s purpose for removing dead particles but you have to be careful with scraching the nail bed.4. The metal file is convenient since you will need to dull the nails post cut. I personally prefer other materials but the metal does have some advantage.

Wow! Thats really all I have to say…This is my first set of nail clippers that was specifically designed for harder/thicker nails and it’s been such a game changer! I used to have the toughest time trying to help my grandparents with their nails and I would hear them complain all the time about the nail clippers we’d buy. I honestly was always picking up a new pair but they were all relatively the same. I honestly didn’t know they had ones like this..I love that it’s a kit and everything can be stored neatly and kept together for future uses. We’ve had another kit with other stuff in it that also came with a zipper pouch quite similar to this and because of that, we’ve always had the pieces it came with together and ready to use. It may seem simple but it definitely makes a difference. So I’m happy about that.The clippers themselves are made really nice and I love that they lay really flat when you’re not using them and you have to flip the little bar in the middle to get them ready for use. I had never seen clippers like this. They also have a really wide mouth so that they fit thicker toenails in them without having to clip from some weird angle trying to fit the toenail in. As for cutting they have been straight and precise and I have zero complaints. I love the wide handle and I feel like they are much easier to use for not just me but my pop thinks so too!My favorite tool is the angled clippers because I unfortunately deal with ingrown toenails more often than I’d care to admit. Thankfully this tool really makes it so much easier and less painful when I’m dealing with them. Plus they are really easy to use.It also comes with a metal nail file which is something new to me also but has proven to work quite nicely. Plus it comes with a pointed tool to help clean out the sides of the nails and get under them as well.All in all it’s a great kit and has made our lives a bit easier since having it.

Very high quality nail kit with folding hinges for spring action grooming
I’m almost but not quite a senior but I still got this nail clipping kit because it looked like great quality. Well it’s excellent quality! All the pieces are really heavy duty. I especially like that they have flip up hinges so you can store the pieces easily, but when you’re ready to use them, you just flip up the hinge part so that it has spring action when you’re trimming or clipping. When you’re finished, you just pull those hinge flaps back down and it reduces the footprint of the trimmer and clippers so they fit in the little elastic slots in the case.These pieces feel really solid in the hands. They don’t feel like cheap clippers. You know the ones that sometimes when you clip the whole thing twists or no matter how much weight you put on them I can’t actually cut through your nail. Not a problem with this set. I would say my toenails are average thickness maybe a little on the thicker side but my fingernails are paper thin for whatever reason. They’ve been that way my entire adult life. The set works fine for trimming my fingernails, although they don’t grow much, but they work especially well with thicker nails. Most people do have thicker toenails than fingernails.I would assume this is marketed to seniors because as you get older, your toenails can get thicker and unruly. It’s also hard for a seniors to reach their feet if they have mobility issues. You want heavy duty clippers so that it’s very easy to clip right through the nail without having to press down over and over to try to get through the nail. These clippers will cut through the first time and cleanly. This makes the chore of trimming toenails easier for seniors that can manage this on their own.The case is pretty basic but it is nice that it comes with a case. There are instructions to soak your feet to soften your nails and cuticles. Also included in the kit is a cuticle cleaner which will allow you to clean under your nails and push your cuticles back and there’s also a metal file. It’s honestly the best quality kit I’ve gotten for my nails. I wish it included a smaller clipper for fingernails but I use the bigger one. It’s just fine for either fingernails or toenails. Definitely get this and it’s also a great stocking stuffer.

Great set!
This is an great set of clippers and nail care tools. It is WELL worth the price.I have some jacked up toe nails and ingrown on one toe I constantly need to keep in check. I have always done so with regular nail clippers and always HATED doing it. I decided to give this clipper set a try and the set made it significantly more bearable.This has two kinds of clippers, a nice cuticle tool (which works great to pry up the side of the nail as well) and a metal nail file. The more standard set of clippers are still super strong in comparison to any other clippers I have used. The second set is great for getting along the side of my nails to eliminate the ingrown and prevent any chance of a rhino horn.The only thing that could make this better was a nice set of tweezers. That being said, for this price I already recieved far more than I would expect at a far higher quality than expected. It even comes with a nice zipped up case to keep it all organized.

Good nail cutter set!
This mail t butter set is very good. It’s sharp (hopefully stays that way for a long time), and the hinge design is great. It keeps the profile of the cutter low but also seems to be sturdy at the same time. The file is good and should last a long time. The cuticle remover works great as well. Just note that the cutter is sharp and depending on the angle you take, you can cut more than your need to. I had to get used to it for a bit so would just try to see where it was connecting with the nail. The case it comes with is pretty flimsy but it’s fine to keep the items in the and it’s big enough if you want to keep a couple of extra files or a smaller nail cutter. For the price point this is a great value and would recommend it!

I Hope They Last
Overall, I am pleased with this set of tools. I love that it came with an insert with tips for cutting thick toenails on one side, and a guide with a description for each tool and safety tips. I tried them out, and they all work pretty well, except for the file. My concerns are with the spring mechanisms on the main clipper & edge trimmer. They look very fragile and seem like they won’t last very long. Time will tell. The manufacturer could have done a better job stitching the elastic on the inside of the case. These tools are great for thick toenails. I just hope they last.

Nice kit
I really like this kit.It has clippers with a wider jaw opening that makes it easy to cut thicker nails. The longer handle allows for a better grip and more leverage for the cutting.The edge trimmer makes it easier to clean up the nail edges without causing damage to the digit. The handle is very comfortable to grip with no slipping.The file and pick are handy for the final cleanup of the nail and are an added bonus to the kit.I really appreciate the fact that the kit included some helpful hints on how to use the different tools and how to cut the nail more effectively.Overall, it is a very nice kit especially for older people with grip problems.
