This is a complete pedicure kit for those with less-than-perfect toenails. The large clipper has folding springs that open to allow optimal function when cutting, with just enough pressure to make clipping thick nails a breeze. The edges are sharp enough to make a one cut pass practical for those of us with arthritic hands, but you must be careful not to cut skin when you do.The narrow tip allows for delicate work on small ingrown nails; again, be careful with the sharp edge.The included five 100/180 grit nail files make it practical to smooth the edges so that the nails do not snag.My favorite piece is the angled clipper, which I have never seen before. It allows for a clean cut with a better view, and is so eminently practical I can’t understand why I have never before come across it.Each piece seems to be designed to last. It would be nice if it had a case, but I’m sure I can scrounge one up.I’ve compared the price with similar items and have not see anything as complete as this of comparable value.

Worth it for the small clipper alone.

My Short & Quick Review: The small clipper in this kit is fantastic and saved the day for me. The large clipper works well but the handles spread too wide for my smaller female hands to easily use. Comes with heavy duty files too! I am a woman with average-sized to smaller hands, and when I fold the springs forward into cutting position, the handles spread just a little too wide for me to use comfortably. I found that if I squeeze them just a little to bring the handles closer together, I can make it work, but I have to do that for each cut. It is not a dealbreaker, but it is annoying. Just for me, not a ding on the product. You might need that leverage if you have really thick nails.The small clipper is a different story. This thing is unique. It arrived on a day when I actually needed to use it – I had a small ingrown situation starting – and it was perfect. The precision tip got right in there without nicking my skin. Clean cut, no pain, problem solved. For that alone, I am glad I have this kit.The double-sided file is standard but useful. 100 grit for rough shaping, 180 grit for smoothing.Both clippers are stainless steel and feel sturdy. The large one is heavy duty and would be great for thick toenails if your hands are larger than mine or if you do not mind the wide grip.At the time of this review, this was listed at $6.99 for the whole kit. Good for ingrown nails

I wanted to try this set of nail clippers and files because my wife and I both get ingrown nails.The clippers are very sharp and easy to use. We both like the shape of the smaller nail clipper because of the ease of getting into the side of the nail and getting the ingrown part out. My wife has thicker toe nails and both clippers work great at trimming her nails and removal of her ingrown nails. They are still very sharp after several uses. The nail files are thick and very durable. We both feel that for the price and ease of use that these are a good value.
