I am not sure what is up with the positive reviews I read here. This made my hair so frizzy, it is crazy. It is supposed to be anti-frizz and a leave-in conditioner. It felt like I was spraying my hair with scented water. My hair did not feel softer, was not easier to comb through when wet, and it made my scalp itch. What the heck? I rarely ever leave a bad review. I try to research well before buying something, and in this case I feel like I have been had. Luckily I can return it, which I am. The price is crazy too. For that price it needs to do what it claims to do. I do not recommend this. I really wanted this to work because of the natural ingredients. What a let down.

Highly recommend for dry, frizz hair
I believe I’ve used this item long enough now to give a review. It has not been long enough of course for any hair growth but I will say I give it 5 stars. It smells amazing, non sticky, not heavy, its made my hair feel silky whereas usually I have a straw-like feel at the ends of my hair. When I apply it to dry hair it does in fact do a better job for my frizz. It does everything I originally purchased it for and for that I am a happy customer! I will be purchasing more TreeActiv products!

I am giving TreeActiv a 5 star review because it conditions my hair and scalp without feeling greasy. I apply it to my scalp everyday. I am no longer getting flakes from dry skin. Impressive. I will say that for my long hair I do still require a thicker conditioner for my ends. So be it.

Overall a great product
The fragrance is lovely. The product works within 3 to 4 weeks of regular usage. I have finished 2 bottles so far and would recommend this product for everyday use. It lasts long as it’s very light and 4 to 5 pumps is enough for shoulder length hair.

Consistency issues, but it works
There are issues with consistency. The bottle changes often. The scent has ranged from lovely to kind of bad, especially with the lavender scent (which used to be my favorite, but I have been scared to get again due to the smell of the last bottle I got). I tried to quit using it because of the issues. But I just haven’t been able to find anything else for my hair. I don’t like blow drying, and this is the only product I’ve found that I can use when air drying my hair to keep it from a frizzy, fly away mess. I use it wet to detangle and air dry my hair, and dry to control fly always. It never makes my hair greasy or flat. It feels refreshing when I spray it on my scalp. I’m not sure if it helps with hair loss, but at least makes my hair feel a little fuller. So I will continue to use it and just deal with the scent issues (I’ve had better luck with the bamboo). It’s simply the only thing that works for me.

Removes bad smell after a workout
Dealing with thin hair has always been a challenge for me as I was never able to get the hairstyles I want and it didn’t looked bouncy. But, I have also noticed that I am not losing as much hair since I started using it. My hair feels soft and hydrated. I use this after washing my hair and also after I am done straightening my hair. It’s easy to use, I just spray it on towel-dried hair and comb it properly.It helps after a workout too. I am always worried whenever I go to the gym about it smelling or it not looking as fresh as it was before I went. But this has a nice, light scent that makes any odor disappear.

Natural Curls beware, this product has Dimethicone
I actually liked this product when used in combination with other styling products. I would spray as a leave in and then style as usual. For natural 3b/3c hair, the product can not be used alone to style (I don’t think it claims to do this, so I was fine with it). The problem I have with this product is that for my natural hair, I do not use sulfates in my cleansing products. I have purchased this before and not had the issue, but I think they changed the formula. The image with ingredients does not list the silicone, but on the bottle I received, it is clear (see image). Treeactiv, PLEASE update your ingredient list so we know what we are purchasing.NOTE: This product has the silicone, dimethicone, which is NOT water soluble and created a huge amount of buildup on my hair (It is one of the cheapest and worst silicones for natural no-sulfate curl regimens). If you use this product, make sure your shampoo will cleanse appropriately. If you are sulfate free, this product is not for you.
