Worth the price
My partner loves this shave cream. He uses it for his face and head. A little goes a long way. Strong smell, but I personally think it smells quite nice (very manly). It’s a bit expensive but I think it’s worth it – granted, I haven’t tried many (any?) shave creams so I can’t say for sure if the cheapo ones are not good.

I initially purchased this shaving cream from another outlet, however from the first moment it immediately became one of my favourite shaving creams.It smells amazing and it contains essential oils for durability of shaving, leaving a very smooth and excellent shave.I purchased another one from amazon which was more expensive than the price I paid when first purchased, however, I have noticed they have increased their prices again.Overall its an excellent shaving cream and highly recommended.

Smells like candy! Gives great shaves and is airport friendly.
This is a nice shave cream, it has a minty and citrus scent that smells like candy while you are using it but doesn’t linger too long. It gives good lubrication of your face and a nice easy shave.If you’re expecting huge balls of foam like you get from an aerosol can, this doesn’t do that. What you get is a thin layer of dense lather that is very slippery. It does not take much for a good shave. I usually wet my face, then take a dab or two on my fingers and rub it all over. Then I grab a shaving brush that’s been sitting in warm water, shake it out good and use it to scrub up a good lather on my face. You really need to go easy on the water, it doesn’t need much. So shake out your brush and shake any excess off your razor when you rinse it. Add a little water to the brush as you go and you’ll end up with a moist lather that isn’t drippy.By the way, when I say slippery I mean really REALLY slippery! If you don’t rinse off your hands after applying this cream you’ll have a hard time holding onto your brush and razor! That slipperiness turns into a really smooth shave with no irritation.The other nice thing, it’s airport/TSA friendly! It’s still a cream so you have to put it in your liquids bag to be screened, but the tin is exactly 3.4 ounces so even though it looks kind of large, it fits the maximum sized container limit. The 3.4 ounce size is printed clearly on the lid, so you shouldn’t get any arguments in the screening line about it being too big.

Smells great, but a bit thick
I use a safety razor as it is the king of all razors Imo.Using this shave soap with my razor is a bit of a chore. It gets stuck in the razor and I have to open and clean it after each pass. The soap is just a bit too thick, goes on like grease.I combat this with some water, but it doesn’t hold on the face for long before it starts to diminish.Scent is incredible and is a huge redeeming factor of this soap. I just use it sparingly for times when I’m not rushing a shave.

Clogged the razor
I lartherd up in a bowl with my brush but by the time I had shaved half my face the larther had nearly gone on the other half. My safety razor clogged up after a few shoes.

Amazing !
This is literally the best shaving cream I have ever used. It’s soothing to the skin and provides a grip for my blade for the best shave, other shaving creams I’ve used were either too slippery or didn’t shave as smoothly. Also I love the way this smells.

Good smell, good shave!
The steel jar was tightly sealed when I received it. It took a little effort to unscrew it partly due to the jar being 1” tall and the 1/2” tall bottom was hard to get a hold on. I like that there’s nothing fancy about the jar, just a plain steel tin with printing only on top. Upon opening I could see that the contents did shift a lot, but everything stay in the jar. Make sure to use the shaving cream from the jar lid.The smell is hard to identify, but it does have citrus notes and an old school barbershop smell. It’s definitely a pleasant aroma that’s not overpowering at all. My wife even likes the smell of it.I wanted to test out this shaving cream by itself, so I didn’t use any pre-shave oil. It turns out that the shaving cream has oils in it and my safety razor slide over my skin even better than when I use pre-shave oil. I have normal skin, so everyone else’s experience may be different. I always apply the shaving cream with a warm wet shaving brush and only use a little product. It lathered up well, but not as much as other shaving creams that I use. The shave was good and due to less lather, I didn’t have to rinse off the safety razor as often.I don’t know if it will last for a hundred shaves for everyone, but since I use very little shaving cream it’ll probably last longer for me. Recommended.
