Long time customer of Tweezerman
I’ve been a long time customer of Tweezerman tweezers. They are generally a great tool, well crafted, outstanding grab. They are hand filed and well packaged so you’d think there wouldn’t be any duds in the bunch. The one I got was mediocre for some reason. I sent it to the company, and they fixed it, or sent me a new one, I can’t really tell, but it would have been infinitely quicker to return it through Amazon. My old tweezers are being sent for “sharpening” and if they aren’t able to fix them, they will send a 50% off coupon for the next pair – which doesn’t really help me now, so I’m hoping the coupon doesn’t have an expiration date. It seems like a good deal but the aren’t very snappy about about service…6-8 weeks without tweezers is an eyebrow emergency.

I hemmed and hawed about whether I should go with the “traditional” tweezers or the wide grip. I was worried the wide grips might interfere with my ability to see what I was doing, but they don’t at all. I much prefer these because they are easier to hold (I’m not that old yet but I can imagine when I am this will be an even bigger plus for me) and they look so cute with the big circle grips. They will not, however, fit in the exact same super tiny spaces where you may store “regular” tweezers, so if you have space concerns regarding storage they might not work for you. They are very sharp and work perfectly, much better than the cheap $3 junk I had before.

Hit or miss with Tweezerman
I’ve probably left it too late to return these now, but I have tried them twice, and because I found them so unsatisfactory, I left them aside until I could get my daughter to try them too. The ends just don’t seem well enough aligned to allow them to meet with a hair in their grip. The hairs just keep breaking, not being plucked by the root, – defeating the purpose, and very frustrating.My daughter concurred. My husband always remarks that he can buy an Ikea tool kit for less than I can buy a pair of Tweezers. Damned irritating to waste £20 on something that doesn’t do what it should.

Fantastic tool, very sharp tips, improves dexterity, & high quality stainless steel!
This is one fantastic little instrument. I use it to remove ingrown hairs that occur frequently in my beard. I am kind of particular about this, even had one ingrown hair removed by a doctor at the Mayo Clinic. I can now remove little hairs that I could have only dreamed about removing in the past. The tips are very sharp and results in minimum damage to the skin. The design amplifies my dexterity, and allows me to get into places that use to be very difficult to reach. Doesn’t even slip even when I have oil or moisturizer on my hands, which is pretty much all the times when I am doing things to my face. Quality of stainless steel is very high & it should last for a long time in a damp corrosive environment of a bathroom with all of the sterilization required. In terms of comparisons, I basically threw away all of my old tweezers with the exception another Tweezerman that is used for a different purpose. By the way, over a period of at least 20 years, I have never had a Tweezerman product corrode on me. On the contrary, all of the cheaper Revlon, etc. products have corroded and thus been disgarded.

Handle and design is great but plucking is not ideal.
I struggle with tweezers. My thumb broke a year ago and it’s still hurts to grip things but I have a lot of chin hairs and eyebrows I pluck and these just don’t grasp the hairs as well as I had hoped. But that said I love the handle. I think the design is great and fits comfortably in my hand and doesn’t hurt my thumb. Sturdy and made ok but I think there is a problem with the actual prong edge are not being sharp or able to grip hairs.I bought other leading brands but they were either too hard to use -tension wise, always causing pain thumb pain after just a couple of hair plucks and trust me I have more than a few, or I couldn’t hold on to them ergonomically. Others have handled well but them didn’t grip the hair, but cut them like scissors not plucking. This pair/design is by fair the best for anyone with mobility issues or hand pain, that I have tried anyways. I like them just wish there was a way to make them grip the hair tighter and pluck them.

A Favorite!
These are the best tweezers for eyebrows. They are especially great for old and young hands due to the flat large area for gripping. Despite the larger area at the point they are still able to firmly grasp a hair for removal. I love these and have had to replace them a few times due to my daughters “borrowing” them because they like them too!
