I do not recommend
I got mine defective, so I had to return it. The buttons are cheaply made plastic if you press on it doesnt go back up. I think its not worth the money. Its also heavier than what i am used to. I was able to try it for a bit and it didnt control the frizz very well it takes longer to straighten my hair than the other brands i have used. Only plus points is it is dual voltage so travel friendly

Smooth out and straightens frizz !
I’ve been really impressed with this straightening brush! I love that it combines the airflow of a blow dryer with a heated straightening brush, so I can smooth and style my hair without having to use multiple tools. It does a great job of getting my hair sleek and smooth while still leaving it with some movement and volume instead of making it look completely flat. My hair feels soft afterward and looks noticeably shinier and less frizzy.It did take me a minute to figure out the airflow toggle and exactly how the different settings worked, but once I figured that out, it was very easy to use. The brush glides through my hair nicely, and I especially like that I can work through larger sections rather than spending forever on tiny pieces. It has definitely helped cut down on my styling time.Overall, I’m very happy with the results. It’s convenient, easy to use once you get familiar with the controls, and gives me a smooth, polished finish without needing a separate blow dryer and flat iron. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

Never got to try it
I’m honestly not sure how to rate it since I never got to use it. It is supposedly dual voltage though you’re supposed to use the test button. I wanted it to take while traveling. I only plugged it in and heard a pop before it started smoking. It was not on at all. I didn’t press the test button. Now it’s essentially fried and I’m out of the country, so I likely won’t be able to return it.

Dries fast, heavy duty, a bit akward to use in practice
I would probably rate this a 3.5 but that’s not an option. I chose to round up rather than down because some of the problems may be more me and you might handle it better.I recently cut my very long hair and it’s now just below my shoulders. With it being shorter, my natural wave has sprung up and I have a decent amount of curl. It tends to get frizzy, so I like to straighten it some when I’m going somewhere nice. This hair dryer promised to both dry and straighten at the same time. But did it work?The unit itself is very well made and feels quite heavy duty. It’s actually heavy enough that it can cause some arm fatigue if strength is an issue for you. There is a label printed on the dryer to show you what all of the buttons do. This is helpful when you first get started. It does dry pretty quickly but I would very strongly recommend a heat protectant. When working properly, it straightens pretty well too. My issues is that it’s awkward and not intuitive.On each long edge of the brush, there is a bump out with a dryer vent. You can’t do both sides at the same time. There is a switch on the back to decide which bump out has the air blowing through and you are supposed to always keep the air blowing downwards. This requires you to change the direction every time you switch hands and directions. If you don’t, it has a tendency to tangle and pull which can cause knots and breakage. I absolutely could not get this right. I kept switching hands or directions and forgetting to change the switch or not realizing I’d moved and then suddenly I was on the wrong side of the vent. This caused a good bit of pulled hair and frustration. If I still had longer hair, I would have less frequent changes and I guess that would be less annoying.If you look at my hair in the photo, you can see the very straight part where I had it down perfectly and the wavy part, mostly in the back, where I couldn’t keep the angle straight.So, it did work when I got it right. But the constant switching back and forth was not comfortable or easy for me to adjust to. I have owned and used both a Dyson (more forgiving when you get the direction wrong) and a Revlon drying brush (very easy to use but not as fast). Because I just couldn’t get the hang of this and because it’s a bit heavy, I don’t see this being my main go-to. But it is well made, does a good job if you get it right, and is fast. It might be the right choice for you, especially if you have very long hair.

When I first started testing out Tymo’s Hair Straightener Brush Blow Dryer 2-in-1, I was a little confused by the instructions and I thought I’d likely give it a so-so review, however, once I figured it out I ended up liking this product.The Hair Straightener Brush Blow Dryer has a fairly compact design–it’s straight and narrow, and takes up less space than my usual hair dryer, which is nice. It has quite a few safety features such as a 30 minute auto shut-off timer, a plug that can be tested and reset, and most importantly–the tines of the brush have heat resistant plastic as the high points, so you can touch the brush while using it, and not burn your hands–I love this. It took me a minute to figure out that I had to hold down the on/off button to turn it on. You’ll hear a beep when it starts up.From the instructions, I had the impression that I had to use the blow dry feature while straightening my hair with the brush, and I thought this was really weird and made things difficult. Turns out, I was wrong, and it does state in the instructions that you can’t use the two features (drying and straightening) simultaneously. You must fully dry your hair before using the straightener. I was a little disappointed by this because I am very impatient about drying my hair, and I had hoped that this product would make things go much faster.The hair dryer worked effectively. You do have to select one side or the other for the stream of air to come out–it does not come out of the central brush part. You can brush your hair while drying it, but I found it easier to just hold the tool a bit away from my head and move the stream of air around to hit all the areas in need of drying. There are three heat settings from cool to hot. The power level of the hair dryer felt a little less strong than my stand alone hair dryer, but it still worked well–no complaints.After drying your hair, you must comb out any tangles and section your hair before straightening. There are four temperature settings for the straightening comb. I chose the third hottest option. When you press the selector button, the temperature setting blinks at you for a while. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. I eventually realized that it was flashing to indicate that it was heating up. There was a beep and the display stopped flashing once it reached temperature. The hair dryer fan was off at this point, and it was nice and easy to maneuver the brush around my head since I didn’t have to worry about flipping the airflow switch. My hair has a slight wave to it, but it’s mostly straight, so keep in mind if you have heavier curls, your experience may vary. The brush did straighten my hair. I had a bit of frizz, but it settled down once I finished using the brush. I would say that the effect was more natural and flowy than if I had been using a straightening iron. My hair still had volume and movement, and wasn’t flat against my head.I think this product is great for people with limited storage space who want a single tool to do multiple things. It’s also good if you want a lighter more natural straightening effect versus a flat iron. Overall, I was happy with the way my hair looked after using this product. With very little effort, my hair looked natural, flowy, and more evenly straight.

Left my hair rather dry and damaged looking – use heat protective oil with it
TYMO Hair Straightener Brush Blow Dryer 2-in-1, 2X Faster Wet to Dry Hair Straightener Hot Comb for Smooth Styling, Flowy Ionic Air Straightening Styler for WomenMy hair: long (middle of back), thick and naturally wavy. I wear it straight, which involves drying and then using a flat iron. My hope when ordering this brush blow dryer was to do both steps in 1 – and it says it dries ‘faster’ which is a plus with incredibly thick, coarse hair.The brush is ready to use right out of the box, and has a sticker on the handle to show you quick and easy which buttons are which and what they do. I chose the option for ‘wavy’ hair. It does get nice and hot and has a strong blower so the drying time was a little shorter then using my regular dryer.It also straightened while it was drying – doing a fairly good job. The handle was bulky and heavy to hold, and I found I had to choke up on the handle to get a good grip. Since it’s bulky, there was a learning curve to it, and patience to hold such a heavy dryer but it was nice to have 2 steps in 1 and not have to use a brush in one hand and a dryer in the other.The end result: Yes it dried a bit faster, and yes it was pretty straight. I did have to use my flat iron for just a couple spots of a quick fix. Did it had shine as stated in the listing? Absolutely not. As a matter of fact, it seemed to dry it out, and it was dryer and felt a little damaged, even with the addition of a leave in conditioner. It was really soft and shiny previously. Because of the dry, damaged feel and look, I probably won’t be using it often but will keep it on hand for when I have to get ready and get my hair dry and straight in a hurry.
