Easy to Use, Just Be PatientI went into this knowing IPL hair removal isn’t something that gives instant results, and that turned out to be true. The device is very simple to use and the controls are easy to figure out. I used it on a few different areas, and the overall experience was comfortable enough. It’s lightweight, fits well in my hand, and I didn’t have any trouble getting started. The instructions were easy to follow, so I was able to begin using it right away.The biggest downside is that the process takes longer than I expected. Each session can take a while if you’re treating larger areas, so it’s something you have to stick with instead of expecting quick results. Because of that, I’d rate it as just okay overall. The value for money is probably the strongest part since it’s a fairly affordable way to try IPL at home. The effectiveness, ease of use, comfort, design, ease of application, and instructions clarity are all decent, but patience is definately required. It works, just not as quickly as I was hoping.

I was really impressed with how comfortable this IPL hair removal device is to use, especially because of the 5°C ice cooling feature. The cooling makes a noticeable difference in comfort compared with IPL devices that don’t have any cooling, and it helps make the treatment feel much less intimidating. The device is fairly straightforward to operate, and I like that it can be used on several different areas including the legs, underarms, bikini line, and facial areas where appropriate. The blue design is attractive and the unit is easy enough to handle while working around smaller areas. Like any at-home IPL device, it does require consistency and patience rather than expecting dramatic results after one use, but with regular treatments I found it to be a convenient alternative to constantly shaving. I also appreciate that the cooling feature allows the treatment to feel gentler on the skin. My biggest suggestion is to carefully follow the instructions regarding skin tone, hair color, treatment levels, and which areas are appropriate for use, and always start at a lower setting to see how your skin responds. Results with IPL can vary considerably from person to person, so I wouldn’t expect everyone to have the same experience. Overall, this is a convenient and comfortable at-home hair-reduction option, and I think the built-in cooling is one of its best features. For the functionality and added comfort, I think it offers good value for the money. I’m giving it four stars because it makes the process much more comfortable, although getting the best results still requires regular use and some patience. Effectively minimizes hair patches.

I love that I can use it at home without having to make appointments. After consistent use, I’ve noticed my hair growing back more slowly and looking finer. First time user, easy to use, painless, nice cooling sensation

The “Ubroo 5°C Ice Cooling IPL Hair Removal Device” came in a very nice, professional box. It included the hair removal device, power cord, razor, and protective glasses.I’ve never done any hair removal treatments and have always just shaved with a razor. I’m not very hairy, so it’s always been manageable. When I came across this device, it made me curious to try it out. If I can make getting rid of hair even easier and for longer length of time, without pain, why not?As a first time user, with no clue as to how to use this device, the manual came in handy to give a general idea, but does lack more in depth details (e.g. what level to start with, do you go back over the same spot more than 1x, etc.). I googled this and watched an instructional video as well, just to make sure I did it right.The start up of the device is quick, though it needs to be plugged in to use. Make sure you choose the correct mode/setting.From my understanding, it will take time and patience to truly see results. In the meantime, for my first time using, it truly was painless (armpits & lip) even though I was a little nervous it might hurt or feel uncomfortable. The cooling feature was effective and really works. I started on 2, and did feel a little zap each time; totally tolerable and I will plan to increase the level next time. No discomfort or irritation afterward.When I ordered it, it was $109.99, which seems comparable to others, but also more expensive than some. For what it claims to do, it seems reasonable and much more worth it than going for a wax or laser treatment procedure. Time will only tell, but so far, so good.
