This could be because the device was defective from the manufacturer, or it could be because Amazon shipped this ELECTRONIC DEVICE to me in a thin plastic poly mailer with NO PADDING or outer box. Not sure which one, but I do know that the cooling function doesn’t work so this device really can’t be used as it generates a lot of heat. It can really only be used for a few flashes, gets too hot, need to turn it off. Defective and not useful. The entire reason I chose this one and not others is because it’s supposed to have an “ice cooling” function.

Seeing results even with inconsistent use
I’ve been using this device on and off instead of sticking to the recommended schedule, so I honestly wasn’t expecting to see much of a difference. Even with inconsistent use, I’ve noticed that the hair on my legs is growing back thinner, which has been a nice surprise.I haven’t seen the same results on my underarms or arms yet, but I also know that different areas can respond differently, especially when you’re not using the device consistently.One of my favorite features is the cooling function. It makes the treatments much more comfortable, and I haven’t found the device painful to use. It’s also lightweight, feels well made, and is easy to store or take with you if you’re traveling.The package also came with everything you needed to get started, including protective black glasses, a razor and a charger.

Affordable alternative
I previously used the Braun IPL 5 during COVID and this is pretty much as good.As a hairy man, it takes a lot of time and commitment. I have been using it irregularly for a few months and then weekly the past 6 weeks. It’s slow and steady progress – and is close to the experience I had with Braun.It’s best with small areas because after the first few minutes, the pulses slow down because the machine gets warm.My one issue is that I wish it had a smaller head attachment for areas like my feet, where the size of the zapping zone is too big to get a good seal.

Im happy yo write this review! As a woman, im unfortunately not blessed with great genes and im more hairy than id like to be. I get razor burn very easily due to a skin condition, so when at home IPL devices started coming out, I was excited. But I had to wait awhile, bc they were all SO EXPENSIVE when they first started coming out!! A few months ago I decided to look for one again, hoping I could find something in my price range. I found this one!! Considering how inexpensive it was, I read reviews. I’m not even sure if there were any to be honest. I just decided to go for it. 999,999 light pulses. Not painful. Can I tell you how shocked I was when hair just – STOPPED GROWING?!?! Then a month or two later it does grow back but is considerably thinner and lighter!! I’m not so stressed about getting into a bathing suit this summer!! I HAD black hair all over my thighs and lower legs. It’s now nonexistent!!!! I DO have to use it on my face, and although the hair isn’t disappearing yet, its growth has slowed tremendously!! No more hair on my belly and my armpits are almost hair free. It’s super high quality device, amazing value for the price, very durable (it’s been dropped onto my hard wood floors twice with no damage!), has a long cord, and has 3 settings. The two I use are the hair removal setting, and the skin rejuvenation setting. I use it around my jawline and on my neck to keep skin from sagging. I recommend this 1,000%!!!! Don’t pass this by because you think it’ll be low quality bc of the price – it’s AMAZING QUALITY AND A FABULOUS PRICE!!!! ***photo is of my thigh that previously had black, thick hair all over it. I have t shave in months!!!**** be sure you stick to schedule when using it. The roots of the hair are on a schedule, and you need to be too!! Regular use is necessary for optimal results!!

The cooling technology really works!
So I’ve had similar devices before but this one seems a lot better. The hot flashes of the laser always made me jump but this devices has a cold tip so you barely feel the laser and I no longer jump every time. This has made it a much more enjoyable process and not a chore. I love the packaging, the accessories and the quality of the device. It definitely feels high end. I would recommend this!
