    Tight curls

    This curling iron is what I needed for my long and thick hair to give them beautiful bouncy curls. The ceramic barrel heated up fairly quickly allowing me to curl my hair quickly without having to wait long. The barrel provided a tight grip my hair which doesn’t slip out so the results are tight curls. The handle is easy to hold and grip providing good maneuverability. The curling iron doesn’t have many heat settings compared to other brands and it doesn’t have an LCD display to let me know the selected heat setting. This is a basic curling iron that does what it was meant to do without the thrills and frills.

    The “UNOBEY Curling Wand Professional Ceramic Hair Curling Iron 13mm for Short to Long Hair Styler Curler with Glove, Rapid Heating, Dual Voltage” works great!I have been wanting to try a smaller barrel curling iron, so I didn’t read all the details before ordering as I was focused on the size of the barrel. For probably the first time ever I’m happy about that because I would not have ordered it if I’d realized it was clampless. And that’s what makes it great! It took some fumbling on my end to figure out how to use it best, but I was impressed with my very first curl (ringlet). I have very long, thick hair so I was amazed at how well it worked. The included glove keeps your fingers safe while using it.The curling iron is lightweight, so it isn’t taxing on your arms to use. It has an extra thick 6-foot 2.5-inch swivel cord (74.5″). The section of the barrel that gets hot is almost 5.5-inches. It heats fast and you don’t have to hold your hair in it very long.I appreciate it comes with a rattail comb, a black & pink glove, two approx. 3-inch black hair clips (they are not the ones shown in the listing photo and are too lightweight to do much for my hair) and a booklet on “Instructions for Safe Styling”. The box it came in didn’t say it was a 13mm. The model number on my curling iron is KS-C303. Made in China.

    No clamp, works great, basic settings, glove included

    Look, if you are searching for a clampless, basic, no frills curling iron, you can stop right here. My wife picked this up and loves it, for a quick curling session. Important, it doesn’t shut off automatically. In our opinion, that is the only negative. Plus, when packing it for travel, it takes up less room than her old rolling pin sized curling iron.     Corded handle can accept other wand sizes

    The 13mm (1/2″) diameter of this wand can create spiral curls easily or tight curl fluffy masses. The handle is medium sized and reasonably secure to hold and wield. In operation, the hair winding starts by wrapping a tress with the free hand, which needs to be sporting the provided protective glove during situating the hair tip. I prefer a design with an attached spring clamp, though I could understand it might be harder on the hair.The power switch has a low and high heat position. My sun-damaged hair needs only the low setting. The wand heats quickly and holds temperature stably for a long time (due to ceramics).I saw nothing obvious to make me believe there is any electrical safety (GFCI) implemented, so best to be sure it’s plugged into a protected socket. Also included is a plastic rattail comb and two spring clips to section hair as needed.This functional hair appliance is priced comparatively very low.

    Love the results!

    At first glance, it doesn’t have a clamp, the barrel is long, it has a thick long cord, it comes with a heat resistant glove, some sectioning clips and a comb. It has a little tip on the end that you can hold while you curl.It gets hot fast. I wrap my hair around the barrel and I love the results. The curl is perfect. I already have natural curls, but there’s always a few odd ball clumps of hair that don’t look as bouncy as the rest. This helps me get them curled to look like perfect curls all around. Great hair tool for a great price.

    Great curling wand.

    This is a great curling wand that makes the nicest little ringlets. It’s easy to use, as long as you don’t lose the glove. 😂 Which I may or may not have done for a time. The lack of the usual clamping part of a curling wand means this doesn’t have the weird uncurled crimp at the end of your hair, and I love that.

    Be aware that it does not grip hair

    Heated up quickly but I had to send it back. I didn’t catch that it was just a barrel with no clip so it was useless on my short hair. You have to hold the hair onto the wand with a glove provided.
