Very nice brush! Much more kind to my hair than the OEM bristle brush.
At first I was unsure of this brush once I opened the packaging, but upon use, I am very pleased with it! I love my Dyson Airwrap, and I love even more finding different aftermarket attachments to try on it. The bristle round brush that comes with the Dyson is not my favorite. I really do not like that style at all as it really yanks at my hair. Ideally with the round brush you will want your hair more dry and less saturated in order for it to pull through more smoothly. No matter what round brush you use I would highly recommend that, otherwise you will undoubtedly get a lot of resistance and breakage.With this brush I used it the morning after I had washed my hair. I got lazy and bunned my hair up so the next morning I had damp ends and dry roots. I sprayed my hair with water to help smooth it out a little and evenly moisten the hair and applied my heat spray all over (HEAT SPRAY IS A MUST WITH THE DYSON!!!). Once I was done with that I sectioned my hair and got to work. So what concerned me at first with this brush is how plastic it felt. It’s not cheap-feeling, but I was kind of concerned about the material because I know these things get HOT. Plus, is it really going to heat up evenly and dry/volumize my hair well? The answer was yes! It actually ran through my hair so nicely with (much unlike the bristle brush) and did a great job drying my hair and give a slight curl when I rounded it to do so. From where I had my hair in a high bun I had some lump areas at the top of my head. I was able to easily draw the brush upwards and any other direction I needed to smooth those areas out and volumize my roots. I have fine hair that lays flat as a pancake so volume is not something I get a lot of for long but the Dyson has always been a great way for me to get a little without a lot of product.I am very happy with the fit of the brush. It was very secure to my Dyson and never came loose. It released as it should with the button and overall is one of my new favorite pieces for my Airwrap. I have ordered parts for way cheaper than this, but they all had minor drawbacks that I did not like such as gaps in the plastic parts that yanked hair out and poor and cheap color and plastic on the ends. This piece has a very solid and quality gold piece to hold on the end that you can actually hold without burning your fingers. Seriously, I am just downright happy with it!My use of these parts is minimal as I try not to heat damage my hair, so I can not speak on the quality and longevity for frequent daily use of it. My thoughts are, if you spend $400-$600 on a device like this, and the purchase of an aftermarket part that doesn’t live up to ‘Dyson’ quality becomes an issue, then stick with the Dyson parts. But for me and my Dyson, we will go cheap for as long as we can!

Easy Volume Without the Fuss
I picked up this round brush attachment to use with my Dyson Airwrap, and it snapped on securely with no wobble, which was a relief right away. It heats and styles evenly, making it easy to add lift at the roots and smooth out my hair without having to switch tools mid-style. I mainly use it for bangs and soft curls, and it gives a nice, bouncy finish that looks polished but not overdone.The brush bristles glide through my hair without snagging, and I like that it works well for both straightening and adding volume, depending on how I use it. Great attachment for the Dyson Airwrap
This fit pretty well on my Dyson Airwrap. It also works really well – better than expected! The quality is nice and the materials used are a sturdy plastic. I liked using this one! It’s great for bigger and looser curls or waves depending on how you style it. I love the more relaxed look and this wide barrel is perfect for it. This didn’t tug at my hair. My daughter has fine long hair and she liked me using this on her hair too. Great addition to my Dyson Airwrap accessories.

My fiancée says it adds lift without yanking
I got this for my fiancée since she’s the Airwrap person in the house, not me. She tried it before dinner one night when she was already running behind, which is probably the most honest test. It clicked onto her Airwrap without drama and didn’t feel loose while she was using it.Her hair is on the finer side, and she said this gave better root lift than the smoother brush attachment she normally grabs. The bristles had enough grip to pull sections through, but she didn’t complain about tugging. That stood out because she absolutely would have mentioned it.It did take her a couple passes to figure out the angle near the front pieces, and it won’t magically make you good at styling if you’re half paying attention. Still, it stayed in the bathroom drawer instead of getting tossed into the random beauty-tool bin, which is usually a good sign.

Round Brush Attachment for DysonAirwrap
The Round Brush attachment, for the Dyson Airwrap, is a great attachment for your hair. The round brush can smooth your hair, as well as give your hair volume and curls. This round brush attachment will give your hair lots of volume and shine. It will also not tangle your hair which is great because my hair is long. The ion technology helps to smooth my frizzy hair and the price of this attachment makes it affordable. The brush seems to be durable so it will last for a while. The size of this brush is good for both people with short hair and people with long hair. It honestly works just as well as the other attachments my Dyson came with.

This attachment fits the air wrap perfectly but the quality is not so great as it feels plasticky and the bristles also are not smooth like the original one. It works well enough for the money but not sure if it’s better than the original.

Great results and simplifies styling — just not quite OEM-tight
We picked this up as an add-on round brush for the Dyson Airwrap, and overall it performs very well — especially for the price.My daughter was the primary tester, and she was genuinely impressed with the outcome. With this single attachment, she was able to get full body, volume, and a soft wave in her long hair. Normally she rotates through multiple Dyson attachments to achieve a similar look, but this brush alone did the job. That simplicity is a real win, especially for quicker styling sessions.The bristles grip the hair well without pulling, and airflow seems well-directed for volumizing and smoothing at the same time. It works nicely for overall styling, and the results looked polished and salon-adjacent. She was impressed.The reason for the one-star deduction: fit and mechanical feel. Under full rotary tension — particularly with longer hair — there is a small amount of play in the mechanism. It doesn’t affect performance or final results, but it’s noticeable if you’re used to the rock-solid feel of OEM Dyson attachments. Nothing broke, slipped, or malfunctioned; it just doesn’t lock in quite as tightly.Bottom line:Excellent styling results and great value, especially if you want a single attachment that can replace multiple steps. If you’re very sensitive to fit and finish compared to Dyson originals, you’ll notice the difference — but functionally, it delivers.
