This round brush attachment fits my Shark FlexStyle snugly and securely with no wobbling or looseness. It connects easily and feels stable while using it. The airflow seems to move through the brush evenly, helping distribute heat and air consistently while drying.The bristles are quite rigid, which actually works well for creating volume and lifting the hair at the roots. It helps grip the hair nicely while styling and makes it easier to achieve a smooth blowout with some body.The overall design feels sturdy and well made, and it works just as expected with the FlexStyle. My only minor complaint is that the color doesn’t perfectly match my FlexStyle tool, but that’s so upsetting minor and doesn’t affect performance at all.Overall, this is a useful attachment if you want to add volume and shape while drying your hair. It’s a good alternative or addition to the standard attachments and helps create a salon-style blowout at home.

Solid Round Brush Attachment That Adds Volume and Smoothness
This round brush attachment fits the Shark FlexStyle HD400 series well and attaches easily and securely without feeling loose. The bristles are firmly set into the brush and don’t feel like they’ll pull out easily, and hair moves through them smoothly while styling. It does a nice job helping reduce frizz and adds noticeable softness and volume when doing blowouts or shaping curls. One thing I did notice is that it can create a bit of static electricity at times, which may depend on hair type or humidity levels, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. Overall the attachment feels well made, works as expected, and ends up being a nice add-on for styling, especially if you want smoother blowouts with some volume. It feels like a good value for the functionality it adds.

Convenient attachment
This is a solid option for a different round brush for the Shark Flexstyle. The bristles are flexible and overall the tool is easy to maneuver. I really like two inch barrel as it works well with my long hair.I struggle with styling using round brushes as I tend to end up with a tangled mess. It was still difficult for me using this brush but it was definitely much easier than others that I’ve tried.It works well and when I’m able to use it correctly it leaves my hair shiny with gentle waves.

Easy to Use but Average Results and Build Quality
I use this Upgraded Round Volumizing Brush Attachment with my Shark as part of my regular at home styling routine. It attaches easily and fits securely, so switching between attachments is simple and convenient. In terms of use, it is very straightforward. I section my hair and run the brush through while drying, and it helps smooth and shape the hair at the same time. It works well with my existing tools and does not require any special technique to get started, which makes it beginner friendly. The performance is why I gave it 3 stars. The bristles do not always grip thicker sections well, so I often need multiple passes to get a smooth finish. The volume and curl effect is also more subtle than expected, and the results are not always consistent. The build quality feels okay but not very premium. It is convenient and easy to use, but the results and material quality are just average for the price and expectations.

4c Hair MUST HAVE!
If you have the Shark FlexStyle and thick curly or coily hair, this is the attachment we have been waiting for. It is the best attachment I have found for getting through my 4C hair without constantly switching tools. It actually grips and moves through the hair in a way the other Shark brush attachments do not.That said, it still requires work. After washing, I section off my hair, detangle it, and let it dry to about 60%. If I cannot wait to air dry, I blow-dry in sections with the regular nozzle until it is about 60% dry. Yes, that can cause tangling for coily hair, so I still need to detangle each section again as I go and add oil and heat protectant. The hair needs enough slip to move through this attachment properly, otherwise it will get stuck.I use it on the second-highest setting because the Shark gets hot, and there is no reason to use extreme heat if I am trying to protect my hair. Since the attachment pulls the hair taught, the roots dry too, and I do not have to concentrate all the heat on the roots and ends. I usually use it like a flat brush on the first pass (pulling it straight down), then use it like a round brush afterward to wrap the hair around it once the hair is heated up. That is just how I use it for my very thick coily hair. If you have looser texture, you probably would not need to use it that way.The attachment is plastic, but it does have some flex. After one use, a few of the bristles bent, but not nearly as badly as the fiber bristle brush that comes with the Shark. It will not last forever, and I do not expect every bristle to stay perfectly straight, especially if you are not doing very small sections slowly. But for the beating I gave it, it held up pretty well. If you have thicker hair and the fiber bristles are not gripping properly, you need this. This is now part of my hair essentials for sure and makes the Shark FlexStyle so much better!
