Great product, but too pricey for the amount you get.
My wife wanted to try this for her dry, curly, frizzy hair, and she says she really loves it. It does make her hair super glossy but not oily-looking at all, and has a light, pleasant smell. I haven’t tried it yet, but she thinks it would be great for my beard. My big complaint is that you only get a very small amount for the price, so it will end up being a much pricier product than it seemed at first. For her thick hair, she uses a full dropper and sometimes even more, so it won’t be cost-effective in the long run. If this product came in a bigger bottle, it might be something my wife would consider reordering, but not at its current price for just over an ounce of product.

Non greasy formula that leaves your hair greasy?
Personally, I don’t love it. Ok, so this is supposed to be for hair growth. Well I just had a baby not too long ago plus I recently started a medication that causes hair loss so my hair has definitely been through it lately and is looking pretty thin. It says non greasy, but if you put it on your scalp (as instructed) it definitely makes your hair look greasy. The box doesn’t have any instructions other that to put it on your scalp. Not how much or how often or how long it will even take before seeing results. So far I haven’t noticed any hair growth, but I’m stuck using it at night so that it can have time to sit, but also so I can wash my hair the next day. Some other reviewers say they use it for frizz, it works ok for that, but not great. I would not buy this for the sole purpose of managing my frizzy hair. Overall, I can’t really say if this works or not. It has the right ingredients to promote hair growth, but it’s kind of a pain to use and it goes so fast. The price isn’t bad so it wouldn’t hurt to try it, but I don’t think it’s for me.

Nice, lightweight hair oil, easy on, simple and works.
I have really thick hair, thought I would give this hair oil a try. I apply a few drops into my palm and rub my hands together, then rub throughout my hair. I find it makes my hair more manageable, stays looking good for the day with a fine shine and easily brush my hands through my hair to get it back into place. It feels good in my hair and has a really nice smell that is not overpowering at all. This product reminds me of argan oil, super light, and it doesn’t take much. Price wise, I think it is well priced…you can spend a lot more on similar products.

Controls frizzy hair, does not make your hair greasy
With my long, coarse, wavy color-treated hair, finding hair products that can tame the frizziness and general unruliness has been an ongoing battle. I’ve tried so many different types of hair oils including putting the straight caster oil in my hair (which I do NOT recommend!) to control my hair. I’ve never heard of usma grass hair oil before but of course I was willing to give it a try. The oil even compared to other hair oils is very light oil with low viscosity. I’ve used about 8 drops total to my towel-dried hair. It has a clean subtle scent that isn’t too perfumy or fruity, which I like. It does not make my hair greasy or even shiny for that matter. But it does tame my hair quite a bit when it’s dried. Can’t say anything about effect on hair growth since I did not apply the oil anywhere near my scalp. For the price, it’s pretty good value also.

Made My Hair Feel Greasy
I’m not a fan of this hair oil. It seems to manage frizz, but it makes my hair look worse in doing so. My hair naturally has volume to it, but applying even just a little bit of this oil causes it to ‘wet down’, clumping together and looking thinner and very greasy.Weirdly, when I first apply it to my hair it has an oil slick iridescence and bubbles, almost like using dish soap.The smell isn’t bad but I find it to be very strong, even if I only use it through part of my hair.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this if you don’t use other products to style your hair. The greasy look and feel bothers me too much compared to whatever benefits it’s supposed to have (the only one I’ve noticed is that it does reduce frizzy hair).

Non Greasy, Natural Ingredients; Moisturizes Scalp And Hair
This hair oil works well for me. It is a lightweight oil and not greasy. It doesn’t leave my hair looking oily like so many hair oils do. The oil is a bright, cheerful green color but is transparent upon application. Just a few drops rubbed into my scalp and then running my fingers through my hair does the trick. It hydrates my dry scalp which alleviates flaking issues, and it moisturizes and hydrates my dry hair and tames down the frizzy parts. It leaves my hair more manageable and gives it a nice light sheen. It has a light pleasant smell. It contains some wonderful natural ingredients that include Usman grass, Rosemary Oil, Raspberry Oil and leaf of Oriental Arborvitae. The oil is in a small glass bottle with a rubber tipped applicator, making it easy to apply a few drops.
