    All inclusive hair fiber kit

    Okay so I’m not at all new to hair fibers having tried different brands over the years for my traction alopecia and postpartum shedding (also stress from the hubby and kids and just getting old in general lol) but I’m pretty impressed with this kit. All inclusive, this kit contains not only a generous size shake container of the hair fibers, a pump nozzle applicator thingie, a 4oz bottle of fiber holding spray but also a 50g refill bag of fibers and a hairline tool of which both I had not received with any other hair fibers kits. Conveniently everything I need to make it super easy to cover my thinning areas well and for quite a while. Much appreciated! Also the fibers are lightweight and blend perfectly with my hair (I got the natural black) without any clumping or weird residue left behind.

    Works very well

    I have used a number of hair fiber products for concealing baldness / supplementing existing hair. To be honest, they all work pretty much equally well, and this product is no different. The trickiest part is having a good color match so that the effect is natural as a supplement to what you’ve already got on your head. None of them will work on an area that is completely bald – it will just look like you powdered your skin. Sprinkle on what you need to achieve the desired effect, but not so much that it gets clumpy. Use the spray to hold the fibers in place. I get good results for a day, or until I shower, whichever comes first, provided I don’t sleep on it or scratch it off. I don’t particularly care for the bulb applicator, as I apply more like a salt shaker. The refills sold by USTAR are good value compared to the big name brand.

    Hard to color match but a good product

    Unfortunately this wasn’t close enough to my hair color to work but I can say it’s a good quality product and a complete starter pack. It is somewhat messy to apply so be aware of that before you get started. If you don’t get the application you like or if the color doesn’t come out looking close enough to your own, it’s easy to shampoo the product out.

    Hair Building Fibers Set

    Full kit for anyone wanting to try hair building fibers. This is a great value (set is currently priced at $18) because it includes all the extras you probably want to try in unison but that don’t always come with the fibers: comb, applicator spray, hair spray.Hair fibers definitely make your hair look much better in pictures but it can look a bit like dirt on your scalp in person so figuring out how to make it work for you is a bit of an art. All the little extra tools that come with this kit will give you a better sense of what you can accomplish.

    Packaging issues

    Packaging is horrible. Ordered one and the fiber hold spray leaked all over. Requested a replacement of the whole kit and the second one was even worse. The whole package was soaking wet and falling apart. Most of the product leaked out this time so I took the bottle from The first order topped it off and am returning one with almost nothing in it. The fibers work great though as well as the comb edge. Sprayer works you just have to shake it some after every few sprays. Nice size package of replacement fibers.

    First try at this. Interesting experience but messy.

    Im a middle aged guy who’s noticing hair thinning and start of balding. Decided to try this. The fibers are interesting but I make a mess with them. Im not sure the technique one needs to have to not get this all over the place. I have tried a few times and it works and covers well but I end up with the fibers all over my clothes and counter before im done. The sprayer sometimes gets clogged or spread in a clump in 1 spot. Im not sure if they are falling out during the course of the day but I just feel like its really messy for me to use and like I always have the fibers on me. Im constantly checking and its almost bothersome. The product works well and well maybe I just need to get better at it. but for now im gonna say its messy for me.
