Strong smelling Ayurvedic rosemary oil
I ordered this mostly out of curiosity since rosemary oil has become so popular for scalp and hair care, and the price seemed reasonable for a 100 ml glass bottle. The packaging is nice, and I really like the pump dispenser, which makes it easy to control how much you use without wasting product.The first thing I noticed right away is the scent. This has a strong rosemary/herbal fragrance. It’s not unpleasant if you like that type of scent, but it is noticeable and does linger for a while, so that’s something to keep in mind.The texture is a true oil blend, so it’s on the richer side. I have fine hair that tends to get weighed down easily, and using too much made my hair look oily fairly quickly. For my hair type, this works best as a pre-wash scalp treatment rather than something I would leave in.I use a small amount, massage it into my scalp, let it sit for a bit, and then shampoo it out. It rinses out well and leaves my hair feeling clean afterward. People with thicker, coarser, or very dry hair may be able to use more and might even prefer applying it through the lengths.Overall, this feels more like a traditional herbal oil than a lightweight styling product. If you’re looking for a richer oil to use as part of your routine and don’t mind a strong herbal scent, this is a good value option. If you prefer something very lightweight for fine hair, this may feel a bit heavy.

Smells too strong
I ordered “Vatika Natural Rosemary Hair Oil, 100 ml, for all hair types, Cures Split Ends, Promotes Hair Growth, Nourishes & Conditions Hair, Prevents Dandruff” because my hair ia dry, brittle, and I have dandruff. I didnt expect the smell to be so strong and overpowering. I guess I’ve never smelles rosemary before. It’s too woodsy, earthy, strong for me to use consistently. If you can get past the smell it has good ingredients and seems like a good value to make your hair softer.

Great price
Honestly, this is a great price and I do believe that it works. I’ll be critical here and say that this product promises a lot which I don’t necessarily think it meets, but I’ll say this: it’s a fantastic tool to stimulate hair growth and it really helps with scalp health and giving you soft hair. It’s got a nice smell. I use a silicone shampoo brush and massage for ten minutes while I’m watching tv and let it sit. I don’t have the patience to let it sit super long – 30 minutes is my limit and I’ve been left with soft and shiny hair. I feel like my scalp is nourished but not greasy and rosemary oil has been shown to help with hair growth which is great. It’s a good amount of product – you need just enough for the scalp.

Great oil, unreliable bottle
I’ve been wanting to try a rosemary hair oil for a long time now, but it hadn’t made its way to the priorities of my budget. While hairdressers seem impressed by the condition of my hair, I think they are impressed more that I haven’t completely destroyed it rather than feeling like it’s in actually good condition. The ends are in pretty bad shape, but the rest is pretty good.I am white with very fine hair, and I don’t find hair oils to work well on my type of hair when it comes to leaving the house. They tend to be too heavy and make my hair look very greasy, even if very carefully applying a small amount. A serum in the ends serves that purpose better for the texture of my hair, but doesn’t really provide the full treatment I should be doing. I like to apply oils scalp to ends for either overnight or for a half day when I know I will not be going anywhere.This oil smells great. It does smell like rosemary oil, but is not anywhere near as overpowering as undiluted rosemary oil is. It’s a lot more subtle. I think it smells very nice. I haven’t had any trouble shampooing it out of my hair after having it in for a few hours. I do always shampoo twice as my hair tends to need it, but I only wash it every 2-3 days, so I use this in the hours prior to a wash. My hair feels a lot silkier than usual after I have done this.The only issue I have with this is the container, not the oil. It doesn’t screw on very well so the top is prone to popping off easily and I’ve lost a good amount of the oil because of it. I may have just gotten a bad one. Hopefully it’s not a consistent issue because I will want to get this again when it runs out. If it is I may just get my own bottle to transfer it into. At approximately $13, I think it’s a good value as long as there is better quality control on the bottles.

Really good hair oil… Better than I was expecting for sure
I have fine/thin hair and it is more often than not, frizzy. However, after I applied this I noticed it dramatically tamed the fly aways, and also some extra shine. It also did not weigh my hair down (I put a very small 1/2 pea size to start- you can always add more, but you can never add less), which is huge because so many products weigh my hairdown, even if I use a minuscule amount. I like of the bottle of glass, and the oil itself is high-quality and emulsifies very nicely on my hands and absorbs quickly into my hair (and the skin on my hands). The scent is rosemary, literally, that’s all I smell. It’s not overpowering but also not extremely light; it didn’t bother me, because it doesn’t affect the smell of my perfumes that I put on when using the oil in my hair.I added pictures of the back of the bottle (that’s the first thing I look at when looking for new products, I hope that helps some of you!).Overall, the value is good especially for the quantity, a lot of companies are steering away from the 100ml bottles, so I appreciate the nice sized bottle as well as the nice sized price.

Works great if used properly
This product was made in May 2025 and will expire in October 2027. The oil has almond oil, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary scent oil, with a strong rosemary scent, and is stored in a glass bottle. Its pump works well, but releases more oil than desired, making the bottle greasy and messy with a stale oil smell. Although it also contains peppermint oil, you can barely smell it.It’s best to use it after your hair dries completely. I would suggest first spraying frizz wet to pre-tame them, making it easier to apply this oil. It may look a bit oily in those applied areas, but it may not be so visible if it is partially applied. Once you blend and mix the applied oil into the rest of your hair, it will give it a nice shine. It works just like Argan oil of Morocco.
