Bulky but very nice to use
I’ve tried to versions of these Venus “Glide” razors, the ComfortGlide and this MoistureGlide and I would say for 2 dollars more I’d recommend to go with this one, the MoistureGlide. The handle is much more comfortable with a good rubber grip (the other one has no rubber) and it has a 5 blade razor head as opposed to 3. This makes a world of difference. The ComfortGlide is nice too, don’t get me wrong but the price difference is so minimal that you should not settle for less.What’s great with these razors is that you do not need any bar soap or shaving cream to shave as the razor heads have two moisture bars on each side of the blades. It works quite well for legs and armpits but it’s a bit cumbersome for the bikini line. I also feel like the moisture bars disappear quite quickly since you need to rinse off excess hair from the blades multiple times while shaving. This kit comes with two razor heads and is reasonably priced but the refills themselves are quite pricey so longevity of the moisture bars is important.

I like this razor!It has some weight to it so it feels good in my hand as I shave – has a substantial feel.I like the metal look to the handle.The moisturizing gel bar smells good and helps the razor glide – if you keep it out of the shower spray, it will last longer.This razor gives a very close shave – I felt as if it wasn’t shaving at all since the bars are thick but it did the job nicely.I didn’t want to stick the holder into my shower so I just placed it where I keep my soap, etc, without permanently attaching it and it does just fine – hasn’t moved – if you don’t elevate it, the gel will become gummy and gross, so be sure to use the holder even if you do as I do and not stick it to the surface.

Works Great!
I got this to replace their discontinued Sugarberry one. I like this one much better as the metal handle (compared to the plastic one) is heavier, so naturally just shaves better somehow. The scent was super strong on the Sugarberry one, but it was the only one they had then that did not have my allergen in it (titanium dioxide), so I didn’t have a choice since I needed one with the built-in shaving gel since I use it in the shower for my underarms. I’m glad they made this new one without my allergen and with such a light scent that it isn’t bothersome at all! It shaves quickly and close. I shave with a multi-round head electric razor for my legs and other body areas due to the way my hair grows (it would take hours with a manual razor), so I can’t comment on how long it will last for that purpose, but it seems like it’s lasting a good length for just being used on the underarms. The razor holder also surprisingly did stick and stay attached to the rough shower tile, which is a plus.

Amazing! Caught every hair, didn’t have to pass over sections, close shave, and the blades didn’t clog! Lather, shave & moisturize in one shot. Solid metal handle. Full leg shave now takes three minutes. Not sure yet how long the moisture bars last before the need to replace the head… but I really don’t care! This thing is worth every penny!
