Is it about the pretty packaging?
I’m not sure about these yet and 1 month isn’t usually long enough to judge hair supplement products, hence the neutral rating for now. If I think I can begin to fairly judge it after a month, I will update.Yes, it’s expensive ($60) and I feel overpriced – like many similar products – and I’m not what ingredients justify the price. I do like that it’s just 1 capsule/day.Honestly, the standout feature seems to be the giftable packaging. Not sure how common it is to gift something like this, but it’s a lovely glass bottle that was sealed. It comes in a heavy duty cardboard box that pulls open like a drawer. A matching comb is included. All protected in a bubble bag.

Quality packaging; bad smell
Since the life cycle of a hair follicle is several months I can’t review this product for effectiveness yet so I’m reviewing on first impressions, packaging and my use experience thus far. First, I did not receive a comb like other reviewers. I felt like the price might be more reasonable if a hair tool was included and this actually encouraged me to order this product. However, no comb for me. The packaging is beautiful. A gorgeous sturdy salmon colored box that slides out of its perfectly fitted sleeve revealing a glass bottle that is securely cradled in black velvety covered foam. You know- all the stuff that isn’t really necessary with a supplement. I’m sure the packaging contributes to the high cost. I immediately noticed the smell of the packaging though. It smelled like brand new leather mixed with gasoline. Maybe the adhesive used to create that fancy box or maybe something else, but it was strong. The pills themselves don’t smell better. I take 13 individual doctor-prescribed supplements each day (including one for hair) and none of them smell as badly as these Vida Glow supplements. The smell is bad and the flavor is worse when it hits your tongue. Swallow fast! All that being said, they make work wonderfully and it could all be worth it. For me, the price point is much too high for a supplement of this type. Especially since it’s clear a lot of money goes into the packaging. To each their own!

These comes packaged just beautifully! Very fancy! Capsules are big yet, easy to swallow. I’ve only been taking these approximately 2 weeks now so, not long enough to see any benefits to my hair yet. But, I really love the ingredients in this stuff!However, I do think the price is a bit steep for just a 30 day supply of this stuff. I’d take a little less fancy packaging, for a lower price. But, if you can afford it, these are good ingredients!!

some new growth – funky smell
i’m not sure i typically expect to say wow when i open up a package of supplements, but they really outdo themselve on the packing. and they come with a really nice comb, which is a nice add when i think about it. when you open the bottle though, you will be met with a bit of punch to the nose. these smell not great at all. i think that first opening is the worst of it though, you learn pretty quickly and just a single pill daily you don’t really notice it – just don’t stick your nose in the bottle. beyond that tho – the supplement i was taking previously i could tell was working due to the unwanted hair growth, three weeks in this bottle and there is no slow down on that, at all. head hair growth wise, i am still getting a very little bit of new growth, nothing crazy, but i have seen some new grays coming in around my forehead, and the length is coming as well as i can see new root growth. i not sure what level of results some might experience, i can just i am getting some slightly and slowly. it’s a pricey option. but it is better than some i have tried. and i have zero side effects. and it’s a once a day … so super easy.

Pretty packaging
Soooo….I think you are paying mainly for the packaging. It’s quite fancy. I mean if you want to gift someone this, it’s great! Hey friend, your hair looks crappy, here’s a lovely present I got you because I love you. Otherwise, this is quite expensive as you need way more than a month supply for it to do anything. You better REALLY love your friend. That being said, I don’t know if this works as I only tried a month supply. It’s kind of stinky but a lot of supplements are so eh. I think you can do better with less expensive options.

It works.
I discovered this in London about four years ago and I’ve been using it ever since, absolutely love this product. It absolutely works, and I highly recommend it to everyone! It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. I would prefer they spent less money on the packaging, the box is unnecessary, and provided more of the tablets, but the product does actually work. I’ve noticed a massive decrease in shedding and it’s full of really good ingredients.

Nice Supplements. You Might Be Paying for Beautiful Packaging…
Vida Glow Hairology is a luxury product and an investment. It’s not an overnight miracle worker. I read somewhere that many people using this product start to see results at around 28 days, but clinical tests show the majority of users see effectiveness at 8 weeks. Fortunately, this one a day capsule is easy to take – if you can swallow the $60 a bottle price tag. The bright red capsules are of average size. They have a funky vitamin smell, but they don’t have any after taste or negative side effects. I’m about 3 weeks into my months supply and I’m noticing a little less shedding, which seems promising.I’d be remiss not to mention that the packaging of this supplement is absolutely gorgeous. Unboxing is a treat. A pretty, frosted glass bottle is nestled inside a sturdy, salmon colored box. The supplements come with a large and glossy hair combo so you can brush out your healthy tresses.I’m giving this product 4 stars: I think it does what it’s supposed to, but I also think you can find the same ingredients in other supplements for less $$; however, the experience of opening the package probably won’t be as nice.

Hair supplement
With age, my hair primarily around my crown has begin to thin. I started taking this hair supplement as directed, but I have noticed any significant changes. I’m going to stay the course and finish the bottle with the positivity I’ll see thicker hair soon.
