    Helped my dry skin

    I didn’t really notice a scent from this pretty much at all. This just might be my nose isn’t too sensitive, but if you’re looking for an oil without much in the way of scent, this one will probably work great.This is my first real experience with a beard oil, but it seems nice and oily, and it seems to be helping. A friend suggested I look into beard oil once as every time I tend to not shave for a while my skin gets terribly dry underneath. Given that my problem is mostly the skin and not the hair I’ve been applying it directly to my face and then rubbing it in as deep as I can. It’s took a bit of figuring out how much to really put on, but it’s really done a number on the dry skin I usually have there. My wife has also reported that it definitely feels softer than before, as after a week or so I tend to move from a bit scruffly to my beard hair is sharp and bristly. This oil has kept it more towards the soft scruffly stage.Overall I like it and I think it’s a good value, though I’ll probably try out some other scents.

    Quality ingredients, lovely smell (in the begining), but not much help with irritation.

    I can’t grow a luscious full beard. At best, I get a goatee, which is really not my thing. But if ever I do let it grow out in the cold months, I am plagued by dry, irritated skin underneath. I picked this up with hopes that it would help abate the irritation.It goes on easily enough, the dropper works to control the amount you want to apply. The initial scent is really pleasant. I like the almond+cinnamon scent. It is subtle, but clean and sophisticated . . . at first. As the scent starts to die down, I could smell a slightly stale seed oil smell coming off of the safflower oil. Don’t get me wrong, I think the product uses quality ingredients. I just don’t want that particular smell under my nose all day.Additionally, I didn’t really notice a marked improvement of my skin irritation. Perhaps this would be more effective for folks who work outside and the oil helps to keep the cold air off the skin, but for my purposes, a hydrating lotion or balm works better.Overall, I think the amount is decent for the price.

    Very nice scented oil

    I always appreciate a nice beard oil and have trusted Wahl brand clippers for many years, so I was excited to try this. The smell is very nice and does coat the hair well leaving it softer and shinier than before. It does appear to be made of quality ingredients as it’s not watery and seems to hold to the hairs well. I haven’t noticed an irritants or calming effects to irritated skin, but that may just be me.

    I have been using this beard oil daily as part of my grooming routine. The citrus scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering, and it fades to a clean smell after a little while rather than lingering all day. A couple of drops rubbed between my palms is enough to cover my beard, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue behind. What stood out to me most is how soft it made my beard feel. My facial hair tends to get coarse and a bit itchy, and this oil noticeably calmed that down after just a few uses. The skin underneath also felt more comfortable, less dry and flaky than before I started using it. The dropper applicator makes it easy to control how much I use, so the bottle is lasting me a while.
