    I recently tested out the GMDQ Wall Mounted Hair Dryer for Bathroom, and here’s a breakdown of its features to save you scrolling through a book of details and my experience using it:About ItemThis compact 1300W dryer punched above its weight—strong airflow, quick drying, and surprisingly powerful for something so small. Wall-mounting was straightforward, and it came with both screws and adhesive (though I stuck with screws for extra stability). Once up, it freed up counter space and always being plugged in and ready made it feel like a mini hotel setup.It looks neat on the wall and blends into most bathrooms. I liked the minimalist design and how lightweight the dryer is, but note: it only has one speed setting with warm and hot temps. The coiled cord stretches just enough without dangling all over.Noise was a touch louder than expected, and I do wish it had a cool setting or extra fan speed. Still, it dries fast and looks tidy. A good pick if you want something mounted and out of the way.

    Good dryer with some issues to point out

    Upon opening this item, it seemed very similar to the hair dryers at hotels, as is it’s intended purpose. However, a quick lookover revealed a few things that made it inferior in my opinion.The main thing is that it doesn’t have a switch that forces it off when you put it back in its cradle. In my experience, all hotel versions of this have this safety feature. For some people this may not be a concern, but if you were to install this in a hotel you would probably want this feature as a layer of fire protection.The instructions are not very well translated, and they don’t include mounting instructions, but it’s pretty obvious and mounts easily with two screws. Because of the spacing of the mounting holes, it’s doubtful you’ll be able to get them both into wall studs. It does include wall plugs, however, but i’m not sure I’d trust them to hold up to the forces of years of use depending on the user(s). You may want to use stronger ones just in case. If you are able to get at least one screw into a stud, the included ones will probably be fine.I found the cord from the base to the dryer to be a little too short which makes drying the side of your hair furthest from the wall slightly annoying. It also means a little force each time on the wall plugs.All the things above are subjective and may not be problematic whatsoever for some users and in certain bathroom setups. It does look good on the wall, it’s nice to not have to fish a dryer out of the drawer every day, and maybe most importantly, as I dryer it works very nicely. It gets hot very quickly.

    A Powerful Compact, and Easy to Mount Hair Dryer

    The GMDQ hair dryer is powerful, compact and easy to mount. I installed it in our guest bathroom, and it’s been a nice addition. Mounting took about fifteen minutes. It comes with both screws and adhesive strips, so you can pick what works best. I went with screws for extra stability. The holder is kind of basic but does the job, and the cord is long enough to reach a nearby outlet without stretching. It’s nice not having to dig through a drawer every time someone needs the dryer.The drying power is solid. It’s definitely stronger than the usual hotel-style wall dryers. It starts up quickly and doesn’t overheat even with longer use. The wall mount feels secure and keeps the dryer out of the way when not in use. The only minor downside is the noise, as it’s louder than a standard home dryer but not unbearable. Overall, this hair dryer looks neat on the wall and saves counter space, too. Full marks from me!

Does have a good fan speed but could be a bit mor powerful. The heat is great as it quickly dries my hair. Wall mount is not needed, and some people cannot wall mount if living in a rental place. Also, the curly cord isn’t that practical as makes it a bit difficult to maneuver the hair dryer. The hair dryer itself is small enough that it is easily stored in a drawer or on a shelf.

    Buyer beware

    The dryer works well. The cord is short so be careful where the unit is mounted. Plug it in first so you know where to mount the unit. The electrical cord also comes out of the top of the unit rather than the bottom so you lose about 8″ of cord. The cord looks tacky coming out of the top and there is nothing you can really do about it. There is no picture on the box that shows the position of the electrical cord. It’s misleading.

    Small and easy to use

    It is small enough to fit between the door frame and the vanity mirror. It drys fast and get really hot. It was easy to hang on the wall with the screws and fitting that came with the dryer.

    Don’t buy

    Cord come out top not bottom, which is inconvenient , cords to short, had to use extension cord. When put on wall , lean to side because of one sided heavy than other.
