Surprisingly loud
My Dyson didn’t come with this attachment and I wanted it to be available for visitors. Fits easily on my Dyson but it’s huge and very loud, which is irritating. Didn’t feel a difference with the outer comb removed, either.

The right tool
I own both a Dyson Supersonic and a Dyson Nural, and I have to say, they both perform exceptionally well. The magnetic attachment is surprisingly strong, and it looks just like the original that comes with the products. They work flawlessly, and I give them a perfect 10 out of 10. As a salon stylist, I highly recommend these tools for anyone serious about quality and performance! it looks adorable. It’s easy to use as great Valley for money. If it’s perfectly in the color is perfect.

Head to head vs traditional diffuser, more definition in waves and curls but less volume
I have an older Dyson hair dryer that was released before the new wave+curl diffuser came out, so mine came with a regular single piece diffuser. I’ve been dying to get my hand on the wave curl defining bowl attachment to see the difference of performs vs a traditional diffuser. The bowl setting of this wave+curl diffuser gives me so much definition, but I wish there was some way to get definition AND volume. I used it in a side by side comparison of the diffuser that came with my hair dryer and I feel that the older diffuser provided more volume, while the bowl diffuser gave more curl/wave definition. I could see a definite difference, but then after giving the hair time to settle the difference wasn’t as noticeable and I could go either way. One this that I do really liek about the bowl is that is keeps the heat away from blowing directly onto your scalp. I have a sensitive head and often feel like even with the diffuser and the temp on low it can be too hot for me. When I use my Dyson I find myself hitting the cool button throughout the drying process to keep from burning my scalp. When I use the bowl attachment I rarely if at all ever feel the need to hit the cool shot button. I think the bowl takes up more room than a traditional diffuser, but you can also use that space in a suitcase to store something softer and protective like socks. I think you can’t even go wrong with Dyson and this off market attachment was fabulous.

Functional but heavier than the Dyson
The Liwoowe Wave+Curl Diffuser works okay for wavy and curly hair, and it does diffuse well enough to add volume. However, I found it heavier and a bit awkward to hold compared to the Dyson diffuser, which makes drying longer hair a bit tiring. The two airflow modes are a nice feature, but overall I still prefer the original Dyson attachment for its lighter weight and easier handling.Pros:• Diffuses hair effectively• Two airflow modes• Fits multiple Dyson Supersonic modelsCons:• Heavier than the original Dyson diffuser• Can feel cumbersome for longer styling sessions

I had the insane love to find a Dyson hairdryer…in a municipal garbage dump’s give and take shack. At first, I thought it was a knock off, but it wasn’t. I love it, but my hair is wavy to curly, so I needed the attachments. They’re not available on the Dyson site, and this said it was compatible – it is, and unlike another version I got, this one does not fall off. So far so good!

Good and compatible
The interesting thing about this wave curl diffuser attachment for the supersonic is that it has a different attaching mechanism. While it does attach via magnets, it has an attaching mechanism that protrudes from the bottom of the diffuser attachment. The attachment is a bit bulky and heavier than I would like and it does add quite a bit of weight to the supersonic which is heavy enough as it is, but I wouldn’t say that it’s so bulky as to be unmanageable. I’ve been able to dry my hair without any issues and this does cover a wide area of hair and it also gets deeper into the hair which is more beneficial for hair that is either textured or curled. It has two air flow modes, both diffuse and dome modes, however I find that the diffuse mode is better for my curled hair. This is well compatible with my supersonic HD16, and the magnets form a snug fit and stay in securely. It is easy to remove and very intuitive to use as it’s a rather simple attachment. Because the attachment dispenses air evenly and delicately, it works well to preserve hair that has been styled. I like the way that it was engineered as it has prongs that have little holes in them as well as smaller holes throughout the spherical part of the attachment. All these design features are what make this such an effective attachment for drying.
