Effort verses effectiveness
Love the quantity for the value. But was highly disappointed that none of the green strips effectively worked at all.All the other colors, blue, pink, purple, worked wonderfully well. But ALL green ones in each of the three separate boxed packages, were ineffective. When trying to separate any two green wax strips, the wax would fail to soften and was not sticky. It would break apart. Something about the green wax was not right, like it couldn’t be tempered. I even tried heating them up with a blow dryer and using a flat iron on the green wax strips, they still did not work, were not sticky, and ineffectively did not remove hair. I ended up having to throw them all away.The remaining colors were easy to use and worked well. Your hair doesn’t have to be grown out very long for it to grab on to them. Not a lot of residual wax was left behind. Quick way to remove a lot of hair. (Worked great on legs!)The post-wax cleansing pads that are provided were nice, but a little too thin and oval shape made them difficult to use on large surfaces. A nice rectangular, thicker wipe would’ve been preferred.

I use these for my legs and armpits. very gentle and easy to use. so gentle it takes a couple strips to really catch everything but I’m a hairy girly so if you aren’t then you’d probably love these. came with so much more than I expected. I use ~2 strips per armpit, ~10 per leg just to my knees. I’ve done my armpits twice and my legs once, and I have about half the box still. I will probably be buying again.

I thought that my wife would like to try waxing some of the hair off of her face. Most times I don’t see it, but it bugs her. But it was a big no on doing that to herself. There is a salon close to us that gets rid of the hair in a few minutes with no discomfort, so that wins out.

e reviewsI wax regularly, so I didn’t have enough hair growth to wax myself. My son volunteered to let me wax the little hairs he had on his upper back and upper arm. He had never been waxed before.My son did NOT have a good experience. The wax was on for about 30 seconds, but he had a horrible skin reaction. The wipes helped to soothe his skin, but he was not willing to try again. My review is based off of his/mine experience (since I’m the one that waxed him).The wax strips were very large. They also weren’t able to be cut down to smaller sizes. I also wasn’t used to having two patches stuck together. I warned them in my hands by rubbing them together for a minute instead of just 30 seconds. When I pulled them apart, it was difficult to separate them. I got some of the wax/adhesive on my hands when I pulled them apart. I placed one strip on my son’s upper arm, and the other I placed one strip on his upper back/neck. My son grimaced when the strips touched him. They felt weird and were extremely sticky. It felt more like duct tape than a wax strip.I waited about 30 seconds before I held the strip taut and quickly pulled them off. They came off fairly easily, but there was a lot of residue still stuck to him. They also did not really remove much hair. I felt so bad that my son’s skin had a negative reaction and didn’t even remove the hair. The strips also could not be reused.The post-wax wipes had a nice scent and effectively removed the adhesive. There were two to a package, so they were able to remove all the wax from the two strips.Overall, 1/5. This was not very good. It didn’t remove much hair, and it caused an adverse reaction to my son’s skin. It was too sticky, too large, and my hands got tired of rubbing them together for strips to heat the wax.
