Wax strips are great for convenience, but only effective if you let the hair grow in my opinion.
I’ve used wax strips before, but went back to other hair removal methods. But, I thought I’d give these ones a try. They work as well as any other wax strips I’ve tried. Following the instructions is very important if you want the best results. Also, I’ve found you need the hair to be longer that if you were using traditional waxing. If your hair isn’t long enough, the wax strips often don’t remove quite a few hairs. That is an issue with pretty much all wax strips (at least the ones I’ve tried). That being said, these are just as good as any other brand of wax strips, in my opinion. The price ($27.99 at the time I’m writing this) is a bit high, though. Most other brands are lower priced when you factor price per strip. You get convenience with strips like these, but you sacrifice effectiveness. I personally won’t buy these or any other wax strips again. I’ll probably invest in actual waxing tools.

LARGE wax strips work fine
Admittedly, I didn’t really look at the size for this before I claimed it, so I didn’t realize these are mainly meant for waxing larger body areas. I got my legs waxed ONCE and I promise you I will never do THAT again so my plan for these was facial hair.It worked perfectly well, after a quick snip to trim it down to “lip size”, in fact I only needed to use one side of it and kept the other side to “seal” the trimmed one. With 80 of them, I figure these will probably be around longer than I am!Follow the directions, warm it up in your hands before use. Press it on in the direction the hair grows and rip it off in the opposite direction. Pretty simple, no?Now. The after lotion. Most times, these have a vague “spa-like” scent, maybe a little citrusy, a tad floral. This one, however. Oy. Suddenly I felt like I’d walked into what Wife calls “the hippie shops”. You know the ones, lots of batik hangings, bulk incense, maybe a “special area” or two in the back (nudge nudge wink wink). I mean I don’t mind them but I can’t spend a long time with all that perfumed air, y’know? So yeah, it smelled like that and directly under my nose. So while it definitely removed any waxy residue, I was also eager to rewash my face to remove the smell. One star off for that but hey, you might enjoy it, IDK what people like.I think the advertised price of nearly $28 is a little high, but that’s assuming you’re using it as intended in which case you’d probably run out way faster than I will, using about 2″ at a time!NOTE: I occasionally review items based on my impressions after an initial use; all reviews are subject to later update based on any subsequent significant changes/differences. Easy to Use and Plenty for Multiple Applications

Disappointing performance on body hair
I’ve used gentle facial wax strips for years but always struggled with at-home body waxing. Since I’m in my late 40s and my hair has thinned out, I thought this 80-count kit would have a decent chance of working. It fell short on my legs, I didn’t even try the bikini line after that. The strips cleared less than half of the hair on the first pull. I refuse to wax the same patch of skin twice because it causes too much irritation, so I’m going back to my usual routine of shaving and epilating.The pack comes with large sheets designed for the body, but I found they work better if I trim them down with scissors to fit my upper lip. They grab facial hair fine, which gives the kit some utility. The included 20 calming oil wipes are a disappointment. The formula has a strong, unpleasant scent that lingers right under my nose after cleaning off the sticky wax residue. At $28 when I ordered, it costs too much to use just as a makeshift facial kit. This may work for someone with lighter or more downy body hair, but even though I don’t have particularly coarse body hair, it was a miss for me.

A Proper Haul, If You’ve Got the Courage (and the Stubble)
Right then, let’s have a look at these body hair wax strips, shall we?First off, the sheer volume here is remarkably generous for the price. You get exactly what you see on the vibrant green box: 80 wax strips and a 20-pack stash of calming oil wipes. That last bit is frankly a relief, because one does like to be calmed after voluntarily ripping hair out by the roots.The kit provides the tools and extensive instructions, but the rest is entirely up to you. One crucial tip, though: do let your hair grow out a bit before attempting this. If it’s too short, the wax simply hasn’t got enough to grip, and you’ll just be giving yourself a sticky, pointless pat down.In short: it’s a proper, honest kit that delivers the sheer quantity it promises. It won’t hold your hand, and you must provide the courage (and suitably long stubble), but it certainly gives you enough strips to ensure you’re thoroughly defuzzed. Quite good value, all things considered.

BXQJRJ Wax Strips 80 Count
I wax my armpits and legs regularly, so I was excited to try these BXQJRJ wax strips because I love the idea of simply warming a strip between my hands and being hair-free in minutes without dragging out my wax warmer. Unfortunately, my results were mixed. On my armpits, I went over the area multiple times and while the strips did remove a few hairs, most remained firmly attached. The strips also left a noticeable red square on my skin where they had been applied, along with some sticky wax residue. The included calming oil wipes were actually one of the best parts of the kit—they worked very well at removing the leftover wax and noticeably soothed the irritation afterward. On my legs, the strips performed a little better and removed about half of the hair, but they still didn’t provide the smooth results I was hoping for. Even after using a second strip on the same area, many hairs remained. I honestly think these would work much better if the wax layer was twice as thick, giving it more grip to grab and pull the hairs effectively. I plan to keep experimenting with them to see if using more strips improves the results, but at this rate it may take most of the box to achieve a complete hair removal session. At $27.99 at the time of purchase, I don’t feel they provide enough performance for the price, and for now I’ll be sticking with my traditional wax warmer for hair removal.

Didn’t Remove Hair as Expected
I really wanted these wax strips to work, but they didn’t remove hair very well for me. I followed the instructions and even warmed the strips between my hands beforehand to help the wax adhere better, but the results were still disappointing. Most of the hair remained after pulling the strips off. I do like that the kit comes with plenty of wax strips and calming oil wipes for cleanup, which is a nice addition. However, the actual hair removal performance didn’t meet my expectations.Overall, the kit is convenient, but it wasn’t effective enough for me. Hopefully it works better for others, but I didn’t get the results I was hoping for.
