For years I was buying cheap hairdryers that would just die after a year or so. After repeating this cycle several times, I wondered whether hair dryers might be one of those things that ‘you get what you pay for.’ Turns out that is absolutely true – this unit is far and away better than the crappy $25 revlon ones I had been using.I love that it has a medium heat setting – usually it’s just high and low, with a cold shot if you’re lucky. This one has all 4, and it’s very useful. I usually start off on high, then finish on medium for the roots.I don’t know if it’s the ‘ionic’ feature or just a better quality heater than I’m used to, but my hair is noticeably less frizzy after using this dryer than the old ones.The diffuser works as well as on any dryer – nothing especially different about it. It does fall off rather easily, but if you’re changing the attachment frequently it is probably easier to switch that way. I only use the diffuser, so I don’t really need it to come off at all.This hairdryer would fit right in at a salon. The color is actually really good looking, almost a classy sort of thing. You wouldn’t think that would matter that much, but it definitely makes it look more professional.Overall I could not be more pleased. I do update reviews if items go wrong later or break early, so if this review has not been updated then the dryer is still working as well as it is now!

Update: Over a year later and still going strong – no issues at all.Wazor Professional Hair Dryer Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Blow Dryer 1875W Far Infrared Heat Dryer With 3 Blow Dry Attachments and Heat&Speed Settings for Hair Styling (because I see too many reviews on a product that aren’t actually the product…)First of all, a hairdryer is not a miracle worker. I have difficult hair and I have to know how to work with it. The dryer is only part of the equation. I’ve seen mixed reviews on this but the products you use and techniques are even more important than the dryer.I have lots of fine, wavy/curly hair. It can be a bear to get it to look decent. The dryer doesn’t seem unusually loud to me. I like the feel of the matte finish. The grip is decent – I have small hands and I don’t feel like I’m stretching to reach the buttons or hold the grip. I have had this since May and have only turned it off once while drying my hair. I always use it with the diffuser on so I can’t really address the other two attachments that came with it. I was using a hair drying that had an aftermarket diffuser and once it got warm it would pop off, hitting me in the head before landing on the floor – very aggravating. The diffuser on this unit attaches securely and has not come off once – actually it can be a bit tough to get it off but I’m guessing that it would get easier if you were to do it more often. I like that I can hold the dryer where the diffuser and end of the barrel connect to get to hard to reach areas without my hand getting warm, dropping it or knocking myself out. Due to the type of hair I have, I keep the dryer on low speed and medium heat with a cool shot at the end. It does take about 10 minutes or so for my hair to dry but that isn’t due to the dryer – it’s my technique. I’m guessing this dryer could easily dry in much less time if you didn’t need to be careful. Overall, I would purchase it again and highly recommend it.

I bought this higher priced dryer on sale. I usually go with cheaper, but still does the job well, Conair or Revlon. Sometimes original Amazon prices are not realistic so I was skeptical if it was really a better product or not. It was $35 on sale from $70, same as the lesser priced models. So far, so good. Time will tell. I like the multiple settings of heat and blow strength. The shot of cold air works well. All easy to switch while in use. I use the round diffuser mostly. I was apprehensive as the attachment was a little smaller than my previous diffuser attachment. However, I am pleased with the way it works.

Its a good hair dryer, nothing like the one that broke down (don’t know brand). The hot setting is only as warm as the mid setting on my old one, and the mid setting is cooler. Blows a lot of air on any setting, I’d like a bit less. But I really can’t complain. It does the job. Hopefully it will last quite a few years. Thank you for the great deal.Once you put one of the attachments on, it’s really, really hard to remove, and feels like it may break, so I’m just going to keep the one end on. 🙂

Works well, and has the speed and heat settings separate so you can control it better.
My daughter dropped my old favorite blow dryer which was also 1875 W and had the two different sets of buttons for heat and settings. I did not realize blow dryers had changed so much in the many many years of having my old reliable blow dryer. As this model had the high/low settings for air speed, and it had the temperature settings, and the cold button, it resembled my old model the best. It was a bit more expensive that some of the other similar type but less expensive than the new look blowdryers that look nice but do not have the controls like this one. The plug is different than my old one in that it is bigger and has a safety feature built into the plug. A bit of a pain as the plug takes up more room in the outlet so I have to unplug the other plug, but safety is important so it is a minor inconvenience. It blows really well, but occasionally there is a smell of burning hair, as it seems to suck in a bit of hair, not sure how, but it does. I use it with the attachment for reducing the air instead of the diffuser or the long pick like attachement and it works really fast. I find if I have it on high that is dries too fast and I get a bit of frizz. My old ionic did not cause frizz but this one does a bit. Still playing with it to figure out what works best with my hair, but the dual setting buttons mean I can get it right over time. Would buy again.

Durable and powerful!
I purchased this previously in 2017 for my family- I had a separate blow dryer in another bathroom so I never used the old one. But I had to use the other bathroom and I used this blow dryer and it worked so much better than the one I had. Much to my surprise Amazon still had it for sale. It dries your hair quickly and has this powerful feel but yet doesn’t over dry like the one I was using. It’s a bit heavier but doesn’t really bother me. Definitely would buy again- the other is still working fine after 9 years of daily use!

Worked well on my curly hair, but the heat switch burned out/froze just over the two-year mark. I feel like that is a very short lifespan. Replacing with another brand.

BEST BLOWDRYER!
Such a good blowdryer honestly! This is my second time purchasing it. The first one I had for 2.5 years (I dropped it one too many times and it the plug part broke, so I bought a replacement its that good. I have long thick hair with extensions and this dries my hair IN HALF THE TIME AND MAKES IT SMOOTH AND SHINY!!! LOVE IT.

Decent blow dryer
This is a good blow dryer and easy to use but it’s not as hot as I’d like. The power is good too. The reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because the on/off switch is on the handle and it’s hard to hold without shutting it off….Bad engineering. It comes with 3 attachments and it seems well made.
