Not for fine hair.
This hair oil just isn’t for me. I have fine hair, but I frequently use oils in my hair as treatments or very sparingly for shine. This oil is just too heavy in my hair to even use sparingly. My hair feels more oily than moisturized after using. It even feels a little hard to wash out.The container has an outdated look to me, and the round cap just isn’t a great design. You have to be careful to set it on the one small, flat section or it rolls away.I will say the smell is lovely. It’s hard to speak to the effectiveness, as it’s just a bad fit for my hair. I’m sure it’s a totally different experience on thick hair.The price is a bit on the high side, not terrible if the product works for you.

A nice hair oil with a great scent. Confusing “overnight” branding.
At first, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of this product because of the “overnight” branding. After looking into the rest of the line and seeing that all of the products are labeled “overnight,” I realized it was more of a branding concept than an instruction. Once I understood that this was essentially a hair oil rather than a treatment, I had a very pleasant experience with it.I have fine hair and don’t shampoo every day, so I’m always careful with hair oils. This one is fairly lightweight and disappeared nicely into my hair, helping smooth flyaways and giving it a healthy, polished look without feeling greasy. I still concentrated it mostly on my ends and mid-lengths, avoiding the scalp, but I found it struck a nice balance between nourishing dry hair and keeping that freshly washed appearance. The best way I can describe the result is that it gave me that day-after-wash look, when my hair has settled in and tends to look its best.The standout feature for me is the fragrance. It has a fresh, fruity-floral scent that reminds me of an elevated salon shampoo. The scent is noticeable during application and makes the product feel a little more luxurious than your average hair oil.I didn’t notice anything dramatically different from other quality hair oils, but I did appreciate the lightweight texture and how well it suited fine hair.At $38, I think this is priced as a premium product, but the results didn’t quite feel premium enough to fully justify the cost.
