I bought this for the travel size. It worked really well on my cruise where I had no styling tools other than the supplied hairdryer and my hair brush. I did not try the scalp treatments.I would have given this a 5 but $30 was expensive for this little travel set.

I’m new to this product and I must say I love it. It lathers so great and I like the fresh scent too. My hair is very shiny and soft, no frizz. It is pricey but I think it’s worth the price. I will be buying again.

Nice idea, but just okay
It’s a cute little set and really convenient for travel, but overall I wasn’t that impressed. The shampoo and conditioner are fine and the oil makes my hair feel a little softer, but I didn’t notice much difference from the scalp serum. The sizes are also pretty small, so you don’t get many uses out of everything. Not bad for trying the brand without buying full sizes, but for me it was just okay.

Very cute packaging of Yolu trial sized bottles. I shampooed my (plentiful) hair twice and had plenty left over – the conditioner was a little more sparse. But I was also obligated to wash my hair twice within 2 days.First, about my hair- it’s multi-ethnicity: roughly 25% Western European, 25% English/ Irish 25% Mexican, and 12.5% each African and Native American – so, a real hodgepodge. My hair is mid- back length, some of it is coarse, some of it is fine, generally it’s curly with a little bit of frizz around my hairline.The product line smells nice, a bit perfumey with a masculine musk base note. The clear shampoo is not particularly rich, although it does foam up a fair amount. But it’s not something I would normally use on my hair for fear of it being too drying (I usually go with pearly shampoos). And ultimately, it was. The conditioner, has a thin, discount brand texture. It spreads okay, but never really left my hair feeling like it was being moisturized- and I combed it through thoroughly & left it in for about 10 minutes while I showered. In the absence of any specific instructions on how much of the scalp serum and protecting hair oil to use, I applied about a half bottle of the scalp serum directly and rubbed it in all over. The hair oil I had to dab all over my head, because it was practically impossible to squeeze out. In the end I see that I used about 3/4 of the small bottle. I didn’t feel concerned about this because a) One would assume that the quantities provided for each product would be used at about the same rate as all the other bottles, and b) the texture was thin and kind of watery. But the results were a big grease slick.I always let my hair air dry because I follow up with a1.5 barrel ceramic iron. The oil transferred onto the barrel and it smoked the entire time I was trying to smooth / curl my hair.I worked out and then re-shampooed & conditioned with the Yolu and although the oil seemed to come out, my hair now felt very dry. I followed up with my normal routine (a heat protectant mist & a high-end, light weight hair oil for shine & frizz control) – I skipped the Yolu scalp serum and hair oil and the results were…
