I picked up the Zaddy Forged Beard & Body Oil because I wanted something that could help keep my beard feeling softer while also adding moisture to my skin, and it has been a nice addition to my grooming routine.The blend of argan, castor, and babassu oils gives it a smooth feel without leaving my beard overly greasy. A few drops are enough to soften facial hair, reduce dryness, and make my beard feel more manageable. It also absorbs well into the skin instead of just sitting on top.The sandalwood and eucalyptus scent is one of my favorite parts. It has a clean, masculine smell that feels refreshing without being overpowering. It’s noticeable but not so strong that it competes with cologne.The 2oz bottle is a good size and should last a while since beard oil doesn’t require much per use.A couple things to note: everyone’s skin and beard react differently to scented oils, so it’s a good idea to test a small amount first if you have sensitive skin. Works. Pleasing scent
This beard oil is similar to the rest in terms of being a bit messy for application. I’ve tried many beard oils and all of them are just a dropper that will leave your hands feeling a bit messy. And if you apply directly to the beard hair, it will have quick run off. No exception here. Half the time I don’t put on beard oil simply because if I am headed out, I don’t want the step of constantly cleaning my hands. You need to immediately clean your hands after application if you don’t want to get the oil on other things. But again, that has been every beard oil so far. Not just this one.Application leaves a mild shine without being overbearing. The sandalwood and eucalyptus scent is absolutely noticeable without being too strong. After massaging the oil in and brushing out, your beard will look very manicured, moisturized, soft and clean. Lasts for the rest of the day.I don’t believe any hair growth claims were made. And other than keeping your beard hair healthy, there will be no extra hair growth.The current price is higher than I usually see, but the bottle is a little bigger than most as well. So the overall value is fair.

Solid oil, does more than just the beard
Been using this for about a month now and it’s become part of my daily routine. Started using it just for my beard since I was dealing with some itchiness and dryness, but ended up using it on my skin too since it works for both.The beard feels noticeably softer, no more of that wiry rough texture I had going on before. Itch is basically gone at this point. It absorbs fast so I’m not walking around feeling greasy or leaving oil marks on stuff I touch.The scent is good, sandalwood and eucalyptus is a solid combo. Not overpowering, but noticeable enough that I get compliments sometimes. Lasts a good chunk of the day too without needing to reapply constantly. A little goes a long way which is nice, this bottle is going to last a while at the rate I’m using it.For an all in one product handling both beard and skin, this is a solid pickup. Simplifies my routine instead of needing separate products for everything.

Expensive, but its a great product
The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because the price is insane. I am just over the rediculous prices and this product is way over priced. You can go to a beauty salon and pay less and thats the most overpriced body and hair care products on this planet. The product itself is great. Feels great on my beard and on my skin. Its not oily feeling, just oily on application then feels smooth and light. The scent is light and smells clean and mellow, its a great scent. I wanted to give this product 2 stars because of the high cost, but honestly it’s a really great product. Ive been using this on my beard and on my arms and neck for a couple weeks and its made a huge difference. My beard feels soft and its more manageable. My skin is soft and no more dry spots at my elbows. It does add a little bit of shine to my hair and skin, but not too much. Even with the higher cost of this product, it’s worth trying. If you are looking at this product don’t let the price scare you off, give it a try… you won’t be disappointed.

I know this is marketed as beard oil, but I have to admit…I’ve completely stolen it from my man because it’s just that good! The scent is amazing! It’s clean, masculine, and not overpowering, and I really appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients like castor oil and avocado oil. This blend leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and healthy without being greasy, so it’s become one of my favorite hair oils too. I totally get why he loves it, but now we both keep reaching for the bottle. It really is “man made, woman stolen!”My only complaint is the price. It works wonderfully, but it’s pretty expensive for such a small bottle, so I wish you got a little more bang for your buck. Or that the price tag was a little less. Even so, the quality is hard to argue with, and we’ll probably end up buying it again.

Bottle arrived cracked, but the oil itself seems promising
I was looking forward to trying this beard oil, but mine showed up with a cracked glass bottle. Oil had leaked into the packaging before I even got the box open. I could salvage a small amount to test, but losing most of a 2 oz bottle to a shipping issue is frustrating.The little I was able to use had a really nice sandalwood and eucalyptus scent, clean and masculine without being overpowering. It absorbed quickly and did not leave a greasy film. The ingredient list is solid too, argan, castor, babassu, and several other quality oils, all paraben and sulfate free and made in the USA.Based on what I tried and what other reviewers are saying, the formula itself seems like a winner. But a product that ships in glass needs to be packed to survive transit, and mine was not. Three stars until the packaging gets sorted out.
