Best results when used together and safe for nail enhancements
This set is by far the best cuticle treatment I have ever used, and I’ve tried a lot of different varieties. I have been prone to hangnails since I was a kid, and as an adult with regular and varied types of gel manicures (polish, polygel, tips), I seem to have them all the more due to the chemicals that dry out the nails and surrounding skin.You get generous amounts of both a cuticle oil and balm. A little goes a long way, and it will take a long time to use them up. And it’s nice to be able to choose which best meets your needs in the moment. Both the balm and oil smell nice, too. The fragrance is natural and very light, and you won’t smell overly perfumed or chemical-ish after applying.I typically have only used one cuticle product at a time – a balm or an oil, but not both. But in testing out both products, I have found that they really complement one another to give you softer, healthy-looking cuticles very quickly. Using both products at different times of day is doing wonders to end the pesky hangnails and heal a couple spots where I got a little too close with the e-drill. I like the balm for day use because it absorbs well and is less likely to leave oily fingerprints all over my keyboard or desk surfaces. I like the oil immediately following a manicure or for nighttime use while I am watching tv or before bed when I am less likely to touch a lot of surfaces. And I don’t have to be consistent with daily use; I’ve skipped a couple days, yet my cuticles still look soft and healthy on their own instead of dry and jagged.The biggest bonus is that these products don’t harm your nail enhancements. I have soak-off nail tips on right now, and I have not seen any signs of lifting or weakening of the nail glue. The polish is also still bright and vibrant with no chipping or peeling. It’s great to know that these are manicure-friendly and will help to keep your nails looking beautiful.

Bit pricey but will last you a long while
I liked that this set came with two different kinds of oils and to me it makes the price a little bit more worth it. I use the balm during that day at work since the oil stays in place a bit easier. The balm also works well as an on-the-spot moisturizer and I use it on any dry patches on my hands. I usually will use the cuticle oil at night or during times where I’m not using my hands as often. The two different forms of the oil/balm means that I can choose what’s good for the moment, ie: the oil isn’t good for keeping in my purse, so that stays at home.These both smell great. They’re very citrisy – tangerine and lemon are the scents that stick out to me. They seem to work well with my dip powders and extensions – I haven’t noticed any discoloring or odd reactions.

Generous amounts, pleasant smells and keep my nails nourished
My mom’s comments—I have weak nails that also tend to have layers of the nail separate. I’ve done my research and am now succeeding in strengthening my nails. I have been from coast to coast and all the manicurists I’ve talked to recommend CND Solar oil. I also use other nail and cuticle oils in my nail care routine. While Solar oil is my go-to oil for nighttime, I use other oils for the daytime. This is one of them. This oil has a pleasant smell (definitely smell the honey) and keeps my nails well nourished. Sometimes I don’t get the opportunity to take care of my nails, like when I took a short mini vacation and didn’t have time for a few days to attend to my nails. But because i had been using the nail and cuticle oil faithfully for a few weeks, my nails—being well nourished—didn’t suffer.However, I had neglected the skin around my nails, it became hard, dry and cracked. I guess I was being lazy. After using the cream for less than a week, the skin became supple and no further cracked skin. The cream is greasy but it works for me. The cream works best if it is applied several times throughout the day.I’ve noticed that my nails have a bit of a shine to them, telltale sign that the oil is doing its job. And my skin around the nails continues to be well nourished with the cream.The only problem I had was that the brush to apply the oil had become fused or stuck together. I ended up trying to pull the individual brush strands apart and accidentally pulled some strands completely out from the brush. The brush is still not perfect but at least I am able to “brush” the oil onto my nails.Both the oil and cream come in generous amounts and I use both every day. I bought them in October and still have over half left of both products. I imagine that they will last me another two months at least.

I was really loving these products! I do my own acrylic nails at home and am always looking for ways to moisturize my hands and cuticles. This is a really nice duo! I had a good routine going of putting on the oil, letting it sink in, and then “sealing” it in with a layer of the cuticle balm. They are both small and sealed well, so I was able to throw them in my bags while traveling. However, sadly the oil bottle lid snapped after a week or so. I could tell the lid was flimsy, so I had been being extra careful not to twist it too hard (while also making sure the lid closed so the oil wouldn’t spill), but one day it just snapped. The threads that the cap screwed on/off with broke, so it became impossible to screw the lid on. This obviously made it so that I couldn’t close the bottle. I was traveling at the time with nothing to transfer the oil into, so I just had to throw the full bottle away 🙁 I am so bummed. The product works great, but the packaging needs improvements.
