    Love a Glass Nail File!

    This is such a nice prep kit for prepping your nails for an at home manicure. Personally, I don’t use cuticle remover but that’s because I don’t have a lot of cuticle to trim anyways. I push my cuticles back and use the nipper for any hangnail/ skin that can snag on things. The glass nail file!!! We love it! So gentle on the natural nail edge, it’s so smooth you don’t have do worry about snagging your nail edge on the file. The cuticle pen is perfect for keeping at your desk or in your purse for applications when you’re waiting on hold or pumping gas to hydrate your cuticle skin, too. A hydrated cuticle will need less trimming during manicure time! I did take one star off because I don’t like the cuticle cutter in the stick style and they can do a lot of damage if not used carefully so I don’t recommend using that if you’re a beginner.

    Ok so I’m a nail tech and I justed used remover on my self and it makes things so much easier. And I used the the trimmers on my clients and it was so good…. They are so sharp and easy to work with. And also the cuticle oil is very high quality same with the file I love this set very much and i recommend

    Great little kit, especially for such a low price!

    Note: I will use the names for each item in this set as they are described in the product photos. Some of them are a bit unusual and maybe not what I think they’re usually called, but I’ll stick with what they’ve got listed for clarity.With the current pricing, this 6 piece set comes out to about $1.33 per part (or if you count the carrying case as a 7th piece, then $1.14). This is very inexpensive and most everything you get in this set is either worth about that or feels nicer than what you’d expect for $1.33.The “cuticle trimmers” are especially nice for this price point. I admit that I don’t actually cut or trim my cuticles as I’m scared of getting cuts & infections, but I like these for cutting off those annoying little hangnails, which these are perfect for doing! They’re sharp and while I wasn’t able to film myself using them to show you, I have attached a video so you can see them up close. I really like the little mechanism in the middle that helps them to pop back open after clipping and that it has a little cap to keep the sharp part covered and closed. I’m not sure how long these will stay sharp, but at this price point, it wouldn’t be a big deal to repurchase down the road if necessary.The jelly cuticle remover has a cool fuzzy tip applicator that reminds me of a doe foot in lip gloss. It doesn’t have any strong smell and seems to work well on what little cuticles I have. As such, I didn’t have any need to use the “cuticle pusher” to cut off any dead skin, but it seems fine, a bit lightweight, but as expected for the low price point.The metal “gel pusher” is actually wider than most I’ve used before and was great for pushing back my proximal nail folds before painting. I did use the glass nail file for shaping, which has a fairly fine grit to it. I tried to take a picture from the side to show that I believe that this grit has been sprayed on, rather than etched, but I’m not sure how well that will come across in my photo. If it is indeed spray-on texture, this will wear off with use and will need to be replaced eventually unlike an etched file, but again, is within expectations for this price point, and it is doing a fine job of shaping my nails right now.Last, but not least is the cuticle oil pen. This is a pretty standard brush pen with the twist end to force oil through and up the bristles. This has a very light floral scent to it, rose I think? It’s worked great for rehydrating around my nails after painting. It is a bit oily, unsurprisingly, and it does soak into the skin after a few minutes.

    Everything you need + a couple “wait, I actually like this” surprises🤩

    This MelodySusie cuticle kit is basically the “just start already” set. I’m not a nail tech — I just paint my own press-ons (usually detailed destination ones for Instagram) and somehow still end up with dry cuticles like everyone else.The cuticle oil pen is what sold me. Everyone says “use cuticle oil,” so I wanted something that could live in my bag instead of another bottle that stays on the bathroom counter forever. First couple of twists were a little stubborn, but after that it flows fine. I’ve used it for five days. It absorbs well, isn’t sticky, and leaves my cuticles actually moisturized. The oily feeling fades in about 30 minutes. No miracle transformation yet, but I’m keeping it in the bag and staying consistent.The real surprise was the tools. The nipper and pusher are better than the more expensive Target ones I bought. The nipper is smaller and angled instead of long and straight, the blades feel sharp, and it’s easier on my hands — less of that death-grip squeeze. The pusher is thin enough to get under the cuticle and clean the nail plate without feeling like a butter knife. My old one was weirdly thick and I never loved it.The little pink dual tool is perfect if you’re still side-eyeing the nipper (been there). It’s gentle and beginner-friendly. The glass file is fine for a compact purse option and leaves less ragged edges, but it takes forever to actually shorten the nail, so I’ll still reach for a regular file most days. The cuticle softener has a cushion tip so it doesn’t go everywhere, but the texture is runnier than the gel I normally use. It didn’t make a mess — it just doesn’t stay put the way I like.Overall it’s a solid “figure out what you actually prefer” kit. You get real usable tools plus a couple different textures so you can decide what stays in rotation. If you already have your exact favorites dialed in, you can skip it. Everyone else building a kit or upgrading from random drugstore singles will probably be happy they grabbed this one.

    Perfect kit for removing cuticles and nail care/mani prep!

    I usually end up hurting myself when I try to remove my cuticles before doing my nails, but this kit has been a game changer! The cuticle remover gel softens my cuticles without causing burning. I have mixed feelings about the applicator style (having a little puff pad instead of a precise tip), but it works well! The tools in the kit are of good quality, and the nippers are sharp! I love that they come with a protective covering too. The case that they come in is a nice, thick plastic, but some of the sleeves are a little too deep, so trying to pull the short tool out was an adventure at first.

    A good beginner set for cuticle management

    This is a great set for a beginner to have all the basic tools for nail management, specifically for the cuticles. The pusher, trimmer, and nail file are all great quality and will last a very long time. The quality is better than dollar store, dollar general, or walmart. They feel more high end than cheap plastic/metal.My only complaint is the cream and the oil set. I wasn’t sure what the brush tip set was for as it’s not marked but I think that’s the oil. And the cream you can not use if you have a cut or abrasion, which can happen with cuticle management. The cream and oil was a big selling point for me to choose this set over other sets, but I can’t use any of it without risk of an issue.Other than the issue with the cream and oil, the rest of the set is great and will get a lot of use. Rating 4 stars for the high quality.Although I put all the tools in my own kit, the plastic sleeve they come in is very difficult to get them out of. Just a heads up.

It includes everything you need for healthy, well groomed cuticles in one convenient set. The cuticle remover works quickly to soften stubborn cuticles, the oil leaves them feeling moisturized without being overly greasy, and all of the tools feel sturdy and comfortable to use. It makes at-home manicures so much easier and gives your nails a clean, professional look.I was especially impressed with the quality of the included tools.
