Pricey, but it really works
I’m rating this 4 stars because it really is EXACTLY what I was looking for- it’s easy to hold with the bubble dome shape, it’s easy to clean, and it does make a huge difference in my nails and whether or not they peel/splot later on if I file them down with this rather than clip them. It has that nice texture that’s closer to a traditional metal honeycomb-type file, rather than other glass files that just feel “frosted,” which on my nails doesn’t give that chalkboard feel that I hate.That being said, it’s expensive, more so than I think some people can justify.

Not too impressed so far
I guess I won’t know how it really is for my nails long term until I’ve used it for several months, but my early thought is that it definitely has a learning curve. It’s a sensory nightmare, but my nails peel and I’m running out of options to fix them without damaging them so I’m giving it a try. I think I’m going to use this on one hand and my mooncat glass file on the other and then compare after a month or two. The one thing I have experienced after just the first use is that it makes the area VERY shiny and smooth – to the point that polish kept chipping off of that spot. Maybe it’s user error though, so I’ll try a different approach next time. It would be very helpful if the company posted a tutorial video because the card that comes with it doesn’t give much to go on.

Not Like Other Glass Files – WAY Better!
I’m shocked how much I love this file after only one use. I have a glass file so I thought this would be the basically the same thing. Boy, was I wrong! This file is amazing. It cleans up my nails better than anything else I’ve ever used. It’s so worth getting this file.

Best file I’ve ever used.
This is the best nail file I’ve ever used. I’ve been doing my own nails for 20+ years.For the last 10 years I’ve been using a Czech etched glass nail file, and it’s great. Perfect for shaping and removing length.But I like to have a free edge that’s smooth as glass, and nano glass files do that. I have a few other nano glass files, no name brand, and they do a good job. But the Bliss Kiss is better. It’s thinner, longer, easier to hold and has two very fine grit options. Gentle pressure and a few swipes and my free edge is so smooth it reflect light.This was worth the money. So much.

Worth the money over a regular nail file. Really helps with peeling nails from gel and dip manicures. Works great on very short nails too.

Saved my peeling/ripping nails!
After 2.5 years of having continuously peeling/ripping nails, they’re finally healed thanks to this nail file! I had tried literally everything-Oiling cuticles with jojoba oil multiple times a day, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails strengthener, Hard as Hooves cuticle cream, OPI Repair Mode and Nail Envy (love these too), glass nail file, wearing gloves for every task, Twinkle T nail oil, vitamins and supplements, I mean you name it and I’ve tried it. The cycle of peeling and then ripping off past the quick was nonstop. Two weeks of owning this file though, and my nails have FINALLY stopped peeling. There are finally enough layers left on my nailbed that they’re not ripping off anymore, so they all actually have a bit of a white tip at the free edge. I can’t believe that I waited so long to try this file. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

BUT!!! This nail file is FINALLY a solution to the struggle of nails that peel like a run in your pantyhose.I’ve always had nails that are prone to peeling. I have flat nail beds and my actual nails are really bendy I’ve tried everything. Regular files. Regular buffing blocks. Nail strengtheners. Nail hardeners – Mavala DESTROYED my nails BTW. Please stay away from nail hardeners if you have nails like mine. It took 8 months for my nails to recover! I’ve had some success with Nail Magic and OPI Nail Envy, but when the peels are bad, nothing helps.UNTIL NOW!Peels are no longer a nail de*th sentence! I am astonished! Okay, let me calm down enough to compose myself. *phew* The package arrived VERY fast. It usually takes 5+ days for Amazon deliveries to arrive at my house. This only took 2 days. Amazing for my little rural island! I was excited to see the package. It comes with a cute little plastic carrying case and a card with instructions on how to use the file. I appreciate that they address the MYTH!!! That it really is just fine to see-saw when you file your nails. I wore my leather gloves and dug in and got dirty. (See the before photo with the review.) The dirt that got wedged in my nails really showed the peels that were threatening. Normally, I would be completely, humanly, incapable of leaving those nasty peels alone. I would pick at them until my nails were shredded and had nothing left but nubbins.HOWEVER – this was the PERFECT opportunity to give the new nano nail file a try and see if it lives up to its description.The results? OMG YES! It’s not just covering up a peel. It is actually smoothing the layers of the nail down so they don’t snag and lift when I run my fingers through my hair or scratch my leg through my pants etc. This nail file isn’t just covering up a problem – IT IS SOLVING A PROBLEM!!!!When I’ve used regular buffing blocks in the past, it feels smooth for a few hours, but then it’s almost like there’s static electricity or something and the layers lift up again like when you rub a balloon on your hair. Temporary fix that leads to more peeling later.I know it’s only been 2 days. But in 2 days, here is what is different:#1. My nails feel actually SMOOTH now, not overly thin.#2. I took a shower after using the nano file after gardening. I washed and dried my hair, and my nails STILL FEEL SMOOTH – no peels lifting. Normally a shower and washing/drying hair wrecks my nails.#3. It’s been a whole normal day today – handwashing, prepping dinner, switching laundry from the washer to the dryer, and MY NAILS ARE STILL SMOOTH! I’ve never experienced more than 1-2 days MAX of peels behaving.I’m astonished. I will keep you posted with longer-term results, but omg this is my new bae. I’m going to order a more and give these as gifts and get one for my bag and one to keep in my car.
