    Good safety features

    Works great, built in comb too but the battery doesnt quite last an hour. Thats ok however because I still haven’t seen a portable straightener before recently. Im sure time will work out the kinks. Good value for the money and is easy to use. I like the safely features and its curl size. Heats up quickly.

    Might work for thin straighter hair

    I tend to strike out with hair items and this is no exception. My hair is thick and I have a lot of it; this is large enough or hot enough to work for me. If you have thinner hair and need a quick straighten on the go, I think this might work for you. It also has enough battery life for people with more normal hair.

The display shows the temperature as it heats up to your desired setting; it heats up very quickly and works great. It is cordless; I charged it as soon as it arrived, and the battery lasted long enough to style my entire head of hair, leaving it perfectly straight. It really works well.

    DOESN’T WORK ON MOST HAIR TYPES

    Pros and cons are at the bottom.I was so incredibly excited to get this cordless straightener, but that enthusiasm started to wane once I got it and the outside of the box called it a “wireless splint.” How good of quality is a hair straightener if they don’t even call it a hair straightener? I charged it up and tried it out, the directions of use aren’t very clear, but I eventually figured it how to turn it on and change the temperature level (though the directions for changing it from Celsius to Fahrenheit don’t work at all).Before I get in to how well it worked, let me tell you about my hair…I have waist length medium density, medium thickness hair that is medium porosity. It is 2C/3A curl pattern/ texture. Before I used it my hair was in a blowout style so it should have been very easy to straighten or curl… it did NOTHING to my hair. I first tried to straighten, when I tell you it did nothing I mean it really did nothing, my blowout was untouched… so I tried to curl it which yielded the exact same results, it did nothing. I tried various temperatures to no avail. I tried again on freshly washed and blow dried hair… nothing. What’s worse is that the teeth on the sides pull your hair, I can’t see that being healthy for your hair. My mom and sister happened to be visiting and I asked if they wanted to give it a try. My sister has thick, coarse, low porosity, 2C texture hair. It did absolutely nothing. My mom has fine, thin, high porosity hair (she use to have 3B textured hair when she was younger, but I don’t know what her hair texture is anymore, she always wears it straight). It worked great for her. At least someone can get some use out of it! During this time one of the plastic covers that cover the screws at the pivot point popped off, so I don’t know how well it will stand up to regular use. I will say that it is very portable, it could easily fit in a medium purse and the fact that it is cordless means you can leave it in your car for on the go touch ups. However, it does lose battery pretty quickly.
