This is an excellent scissors grooming set – maintain your cuticles and eyebrows/lashes with the two-scissor set.These are quality scissors that are easy to use and balance nicely in your hand with finger holes that are sized for most fingers – you actually have confidence cutting the cuticle or eyelash. The curved blade of the cuticle scissors makes it easy to trim cuticles without fear of nipping skin – the blades follow the curve of the nail or eyelash. I really like the extra fine tips of the two scissors that are designed to address cuticles and eyelashes/brows. These scissors can be used to cut hangnails or unwanted hair on your body. It would be nice if these scissors came with a travel case, but this a minor nit. These are very good professionally styled scissors that will be a great help for female or male grooming.

This order is two pairs of cuticle scissors. Each one has a different shape on the blades. The handles are the same size and shape for ergonomic purposes. Each pair comes with a PU cover to store or travel with. A nice touch. The black ones come with a tip cover. They have a very sharp point, and this helps for safety as well as for storing them.The shiny silver pair is a flat, wide blade. It is sharp, but I find it harder to use for cuticle purposes. I think it works better for small adjustments to eyebrow hairs and facial hairs in terms of grooming.The black pair has become my favorite. It is also very sharp and does well for cuticle work that is right near the edge of the nail. It helps prevent the hangnails that are on the sides of the nail where it meets with your finger tip. It can get into that small crack, and for me, this is a huge help. Otherwise, I will have a small bit of nail that separates away and becomes a tiny piece that peels upward and will eventually be very painful. These are great for shipping those little bits of cuticle that form at the change of season at the top of the cuticle above the nail bed.I snip unwanted nose hair here and there with these black ones as well. I think whether you are a man or a woman, you might notice those hairs, and they work perfectly. Just remember to clean with alcohol. (cheeky smile)The pair I am replacing has lasted me since I was in my 20s. They are now 30 yrs old, and I am replacing them. These say they are made of “carbon steel,” so I would hope they will last just as long.MEN:I could see these being useful for snipping ear hairs, nose hairs, and trimming eyebrows. I have helped my husband with his grooming for tiny details like this in the past with mine, and they work really well for that sort of thing. It really is that curved blade. Of course, for the cuticle care as well, but outside of that, there are so many other uses.LADIES My Peri and Menopause uses:The black pair is so sharp that they are wonderful, ladies, for snipping those unwanted hairs that start to become annoying later in life. Bluntly, when a hair grows out of a freckle, mole, or sensitive skin area, you have to be so careful when snipping it. Considering these are curved, it is easier to get close to the skin and not injure the sensitive skin to snip the unwanted hair away.VALUE:These cuticle trimmers were priced at $3.99 when I received them. This is a really great value for two pairs. Let alone one pair.PROS:*The blades on both pairs are very sharp, and they work well for cutting cuticle skin and small bits of nail that are hard to get at. Hairs are no problem as well.*The curved blades are at a good angle for snipping unwanted facial hairs and getting into hard-to-reach areas near the nail bed.*Each pair comes with a cover for safety and storage.*These have a place in anyone’s beauty and care routine. They are very versatile.CONS:*I noticed on the silver finish pair that they are already scratched on the handles just from setting them down on the counter and picking them up again. That doesn’t bode well for their longevity.FINAL THOUGHTS:These cuticle cutters are a great value. They are very sharp and functional for keeping cuticles from looking frayed and preventing hangnails. They also work for so many other grooming needs for anyone (men, women, others). The curve of the blades is perfect for cutting close to the skin and reaching into small places where other types of implements just can’t reach. The black pair is my personal favorite as they appear durable and work perfectly for all my needs. I give these cutters 5 stars and recommend.

Pretty useless as a cuticle cutter due to the design

What I like:-They come with tip protectors to keep the sharp tips from causing any injuries-They seem well made for the price-They could be useful for sewing to cut threadsWhat could be improved:-I find that these are useless for cutting cuticles or hangnails since they act like scissors and not like snips. This means that the blades pass over each other rather than meeting in the middle. Thus, it is very difficult to make precise cuts with them. I ended up going back to my old much larger cuticle cutters, and they are more accurate.
