Neon green!
Quick dry is definitely right! They dried so fast that as soon as I was done with my last finger I was able to circulate back and start over again. The color vibrancy is also insane, it would be awesome for neon nails or something retro, or to use as highlights in other green/etc. The best is to use very thin coats and it will work great. For full coverage I only needed about 2-3 coats, and it took me about 15 minutes.Definitely not a color I will be using a lot, but I can envision its place in future looks.

Fast drying, but you’ll need to do several coats
I wanted to try this Expressie line of Essie nail polish and I must say, the dry time for this polish is super quick. I would say the first coat was less than 1 minute of dry time, and the second coat was a couple of minutes. The nail polish dries really quickly which eliminates some air bubbling and is also glossy once dry. I do like and appreciate the wide and angle cut brush – it makes applying the nail polish quicker and easier.I would saw there were a few of reasons why I did not rate this as 5 stars.1) Too sheer – I applied 3 coats and the colour was STILL not opaque yet. I am guessing I will need another 2 coats to have a fully opaque nail. I would say that this is common with the Essie brand – but I was hoping it would be more pigmented.2) Colour isn’t great – I have an warm skin tone, and this colour was definitely not a complimentary one – especially if you only do 1 coat. (1 coat was pretty sheer, so it actually just looked like I had really discoloured or diseased nails). This colour would probably suit other skin tones better.3) Bristles on the brush were bent – The brush bristles were wide and cut on an angle (which I really like) but for some reason, the bristles on my brush were bent at weird angle. Not a huge deal, but I don’t believe this is what they meant by “angled” brushOverall, I don’t think I would purchase this colour again. I do like the brush style and the quick dry elements of the polish, but I would definitely prefer a different colour and possibly a more pigmented colour.

I have a newborn at home so I don’t really have the time to sit around and wait for my nail polish to dry and let me tell you, this is a GAME CHANGER!!! 3 coats dried in less than 5 minutes and between all the diaper changes, house work, and washing hands, no signs of chipping after 4 days!

I love the color and the formula is durable and dries quickly. BUT it took 3 coats to achieve what I deemed a ‘good enough’ opacity. It would take at least four, if not five coats to be opaque.

Odd colour, nice texture
The brush tip is flatter and wider than most, so it’s easy to coat your entire nail in fewer strokes. The polish is a bit runny and sheer, though. You have to apply like 3 or more layers. The texture is nice and it’s easy to apply. It dries pretty fast too.

I’m normally a fan of Essie but this one wasn’t what I expected. The essie expressie™ vegan quick-dry nail polish IS in fact quick drying, I’ll say that. I’m less impressed with how sheer the nail polish is. Even after two coats you can see through it. Ivy the third one the colour is richer but then my nails just feel so thick it’s not worth it. In terms of chipping the polish does stay on very well, even after washing dishes. Overall it’s not bad but the whole point of coloured nail polish is to colour my nails so if it doesn’t do that because the polish is so sheer then I’m not likely to keep adding to my nails.

Dries quick, doesn’t chip but needs 4 layers
I am someone who can not be bothered to wait for my nails to dry so I fully appreciate that this formula dries quick and honestly I think it dries quicker than some other quick dry formulas I’ve used(sally hansen and quo).After application I also didn’t get the dreaded smudge because it actually fully dried!I got the “main character moment” green which honestly love that name. The colour itself I’d describe as a 1970’s green not like a neon green which I quite like. I will note that my husband said it looked like I had smokers finger nails… men do see less shades than women but probably just wasn’t too flattering to my super pale skin.For chipping I have only worn it for 5 days so far but in my last picture you can see it’s still holding up without chips. There is some wearing on the edge of my nail but nothing noticeable and I don’t feel like I need to redo my nails in a hurry. Honestly if I can get through a work week without having to re do my nails I’m happy.The one reason I am giving this a 4/5 star is it definitely is not a two coat polish, or at-least in this shade. The polish went on very thin and had a yellow look to it until I got to the fourth layer. I will say luckily it dries fast enough to get four layers done quickly but that does mean this polish won’t last quite as long as hoped.
