    Just like the pros use

    I like the way my feet feel after a pedicure, but I don’t like the hassle of going to a nail plus (plus I’m a guy, and I don’t want nail polish or any of the other services). This set is exactly like the one my manicurist used. The course scrubber works well on the bottoms of my feet, it will remove loads of callus without pain (just don’t try to use it on skin that’s not calloused). Yes, it looks like a cheese grater, but it feels nothing like it (if you’ve ever accidentally scraped your hand with a cheese grater, you know what I’m talking about). I have large hands (and large feet) and I find that this size is perfect for me; the handle’s easy to hold while using it. I’ve had the best luck when using this after showering, just before getting out (you’ll want to leave the water running to rinse off the dead skin you’ve scrubbed). The “nano” scrubber is most useful for toes, and (don’t tell anyone) you can even shape your toenails a little. If I had a complaint to make, it would be that it’s difficult to tell by looking which is the coarse side and which is the fine side (and to be honest, they don’t feel very different from one another). Both of these seem well made and should last a while, however, the sharp file is just a punched bent sheet of metal over a plastic handle, so eventually it will probably break. But I suspect you’ll get several years of use out of it.

    Nice and sharp

    This is an excellent set of foot files. The larger one, which looks like a cheese grater, works well to remove thicker calluses on my feet after I soak them. It only takes a very light hand because the grater is very sharp. I prefer to go over the same area multiple times very gently rather than applying pressure, so I don’t remove any living layers.The smaller file works very well, too. It smooths out the somewhat rougher bits left by the larger file and makes my heels silky smooth. Both files clean easily after use with a quick rinse under the bath faucet. Overall, a decent set of files, and I’d order them again.

    rasp is MASSIVE but polishing tool is good.

    The rasp is massive and terrifying. I can’t even bring myself to try that one. It is literally so huge.The little polisher is what I ordered this set for and it seems to work really well. It feels nicer than my pumice and seems to do a more thorough job of smoothing my heels in the shower.I don’t have super hard calluses but my heels do get a bit of built up dry skin I have to remove, and this little tool should work well for longer than my pumice – seems durable and like it won’t be worn down over time.I just wish I could have bought that by itself. I have a rasp that works fine and is much smaller. I assumed this one would be a similar size and thought I’d just swap them out. Instead I will donate this mammoth one but keep the polishing tool.

    Callus-blaster: very effective rasp & double-sided polisher

    I have calluses that grow faster than bamboo or kudzu or seaweed. Just so thick all the time, and complicating that by being glossy smooth. Using a rasp with elbow grease is the only way I can handle this ridiculousness. I’ve gone through many a rasp and single-sided polisher over the years. This rasp and polisher set is very easy to use and I love it.Note: I use rasps and polishers on dry calluses, using on wet skin can let the rasp cut accidentally or get the polisher gummed up.Pros for the double-sided polisher:The polisher is better made than the rasp, which honestly makes the set totally worth it.The polisher’s shape easily gets into the nooks and smaller, more delicate spaces of the foot.The rougher side removes the remaining skin the rasp scraped up but didn’t fully disconnect.This side also did a great job getting everything even and down to proper skin without going too deep.The finer side of the polisher is fantastic at getting the roughed skin to a beautiful and healthy smooth texture.Pros for the rasp:The rasp is very sharp. Unlike other rasps, I didn’t have to use a ton of force to get it to grab into my smooth calluses.I like the size of the grate on the rasp. It’s a bit bigger than others I’ve had, and it just works better than the smaller size.The rasp is pretty sturdy; plastic but solid feeling even when exerting a lot of force.Overall pros:Both the rasp and the polisher are very easy to clean. I was able to smack out the powdered skin from the polisher while using it. Getting it fully clean was easy just by running water over it on high power. (Obvs, wash it fully folks!)Cons:I have no complaints. I’ve already replaced my current rasp and polisher with these after just one use. So good.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – Excellent: Extremely satisfied. The product exceeded my expectations in quality and performance. A great value and worth it. I highly recommend it.

    Fine tool for gently removing foot calluses

    The file set makes it easy and painless to remove foot calluses, though you need to be patient. Even though it recommends using the sharp stainless steel file on dry feet, I feel safer using it on wet feet, which seems to require more time. I eventually got up the nerve to try it on dry feet, and it does work without harming the skin. Just don’t expect to get perfectly smooth feet after the first use if yours are heavily cracked, unless you want to spend a lot of time.Both tools are high-quality and wash off easily. The stainless steel feels like it will never rust and is perfect for use in the tub or shower alongside the glass file, which is the star of the show. The glass file definitely feels high-quality and is extremely gently for getting every crevice and working along the toes.Maybe it’s a little pricey, but these may just last forever, and if they do, it’s much better than a dollar store version that may not be as safe or reliable

    Softest heels I have ever had

    I originally bought this set for the larger “cheese grater” style file after seeing one used during a professional pedicure. I hoped it would work better than a traditional pumice stone. For me, it was effective on thicker calluses but didn’t do much for lighter or medium buildup.The real star of this set is the polishing file. In the past, even after using a pumice stone and applying moisturizer, my feet would still feel rough and sometimes catch on the sheets the next day. The polishing file completely changed that. It smoothed everything out and left my heels incredibly soft. My heels have never felt this smooth, and the results lasted longer than I expected. It has a metal handle, super durable, and so comfortable to hold.If you’re looking for a super-smooth finish after removing calluses, the polishing file alone makes this set worth it.
