A solution for fake nail fit that’s shy of perfect
The nails I’ve used with this have held up as well as my red top big brand glue. Seems durable. I was dubious so I very lightly scored my nails, as well as the inside of the fake nails where they go against the nail. I Always do the latter, almost never the former. I really like the thickness of it. My nails don’t all grow in a way that every one of them can be totally flush with the inside of fake nails. Indexes especially. There’s gaps on some nails that can take multiple applications, drying cycles, with liquid glue to build it up and prevent air (therefore water) gaps. I’ve literally taken a syringe, purchased intending to use with liquid glue, to better coax liquid glue through the side of a fake nail to fill in air gaps, which you can see through lighter colored/ slightly transparent fake nails. The syringe was to try to direct it only under the fake nail vs flooding my sidewall, like it probably would if applied with the liquid glue bottle nozzle. I’m so glad to not have that hassle for 2-3 poor fit nails.Great for fingernails, and especially for my toenails, which are less flush with fake nails than my finger nails. I never went to such lengths for fake toenails, but doing regular liquid glue application for toe nails, or pre-glued press-ons, they’d just pop-off (smaller toes, big toes were good fit), so this glue has allowed me to actually wear a full set of fake toenails (rather than fake decorative big toenail, rest painted to match).It says 20 seconds to reposition but I felt it firm up within 10 seconds. I live in an arid climate and nail polish definitely dries faster here so it makes sense for glue to dry faster too. You get so much for the price. Easy to use as someone with fake nail experience (score the insides of fakes that go against your nail! look into nail prep!). The only thing I didn’t like was that pulling it away from the nail, it’s stringy, like a big mozzarella pull. But that might be an arid climate factor too, setting in air as you pull the nozzle away.

Standard Nail Glue
When I initially tried the nail glue I was wearing a full set of acrylic nails and I used the glue to reapply 2 nails that had come off on a Friday, I then went swimming and by Sunday both of the nails that I had used the glue to reapply had come off so I’m sure it was the combination of chlorine and a worn nail that did not allow the nail longevity. The second time I used the glue was to apply press on nails to my big toes after a pedicure on August 8th and I was able to get about 2 weeks of wear before one of the nails came off on August 20th and then I took the other one off by force on August 21st which it was not ready to come off and did some damage to my nail because I forced it off ofcourse. I think that overall this is like a standard nail glue, it didn’t underperform but also there’s nothing amazing about it. In my experience with proper nail prep you can get about 2 weeks of wear which is standard, I do wonder how well this would last on my hands because your hands are more busy and exposed to more oils, water, wear, etc and because I ofcourse had different experiences on my hands and toes. I do think that the price is a good value for 2 tubes, it dries fast and was easy to use.

Tough Hold
This glue has a really strong hold. I used it for press on nails and followed the directions of the glue. I did my normal everyday routines while wearing them. I washed dishes by hand. I did laundry. I swept and scrubbed the kitchen floor. I cooked. I pretended I did not have them on and did not use any leniency towards my hands as I normally would throughout my day. I wash my hands a lot during the daytime. I put them on Friday early afternoon. The first one came off on Sunday evening. I tried to get the other ones off cuz I had an appointment coming up and really didn’t want to just go missing one, but they did not come off. The next day was the same I went through my daily routine with one missing this time and they held strong. My appointment was next morning so that evening I pryed them off. They were not ready to come off. But I did not give up and kept trying until I finally got them all off. During the process I did end up wrecking all the nails because they were stuck hard. I’m not exactly sure how long this would have lasted on its own had I let it go, but I’m guessing its a very long time. Especially just for using press on nails with this glue. So this will work perfect if you just wanted to use them to go to an event you can be assured that they’re not going to fall off during that time. Water didn’t have any effect on it so I would say that they are water resistant. The application is easy to do. I found that it was easier that they stayed if I let the glue set for about 15 seconds as I I did up before I set it into place. It is clear so there is no coloring at all to the glue. I did have a problem when I used it of getting it on my fingers as I was pushing it down it came out the sides got on my fingers and then when I went to take my finger away the skin from my finger pulled off onto the fingernail. I also found out when this happens if you leave it alone and do not scrape it after you wash your hands a few times it will come off all on its own and they will be nice and shiny. But if you try to scrape it off you will interfere with the clear shine coating top that it has on it and it will no longer be shiny in that spot. This can also be avoided and by using less glue. The price value for the product quality is excellent.
